Betrothed To The Mafia Lord

Chapter 299

Chapter 299

Luca’s POV

Sofia blinked up at me and I watched as she swallowed emptily before cracking a small grin that almost

looked sly. It was honestly so unexpected, as were her next words.

“I felt like you were about to kiss me?” She drawled. Her response was a far cry from what I was used

to, it was so out of place for the shyness and timidness I was already used to with her— but it wasn’t

out of place in a bad way though.

I couldn’t help it, a grin tugged at the corners of my lips as I queried a brow at her.

“You’re not wrong, bunny.” I mused. She moved a little and the feeling of her soft body rubbing against

my hard body, made my blood run hot.

She lifted her face even higher and I got distracted by how stunning she was. Her beauty just never

cease to take my breath away. It was so out of this world, and despite how much I’ve stared at her face

since the moment I had lifted her veil on our wedding day, till this very day. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

It sometimes makes me wonder just how I was lucky enough to have her as a wife, without really doing

any thing. All I did was to lend her father money, which I didn’t even need anymore now.

“You’re still not kissing me.” She mumbled as she blinked up at me, pulling me out of thoughts instantly.

I moved her wrists into one of my hands, and then I trailed my right finger over the curve of her cheeks,

feelimg the softness of her skin against my fingers.

“How are you so stunning?” I whispered the words as soon as they appeared in my head. It was

obvious that she hadn’t been expecting me to say that, telling from how she blinked up at me in

confusion.

“Huh?” She mumbled and I chuckled as I pushed a strand of her hair out of her face and inched closer

to her.

“Stunning. You’re so fucking stunning, that it’s mind blowing. How is that possible?“

It was as if the meaning of my words were just settling in now, because she looked abashed as she

averted her gaze a little, while a small grin appeared on her face.

“Uh, I don’t know?” She responded.

“You don’t?” I teased and she nodded her head tentatively.

“You should. It should be illegal that you’re this stunning.” I murmured as I traced the outline of her lips,

feeling so many emotions start to explode in the middle of my chest at that moment.

She bit on my lips to stop her grin this time, looking breathtakingly cute as she began to speak. “Why

are you saying this now?”

I corked my head to the side. “Saying what? How stunning you are?”

She nodded her head, and I noticed the lights glitter off the diamond earring in her left ear. “Yeah… why

are you talking about that now?”

I grinned a little as I wrapped my hand around her jaw and tugged it upwards a little. “Because I just

realized all over again, how breathtakingly stunning you are.”

She blushed at my response and squirmed a little, making me instinctively tighten my hold around her

dainty wrists, which were still pinned above her head, against the wall.

“But you’re not supposed to be talking about that now.” She finally mumbled with a small huff.

I let out a small hum. “Why is that, bunny?”

She trailed her eyes around a little before finally resting it on my face, and then she chewed on her

bottom lip a little.

“Because – because, well… shouldn’t you be kissing me?” She finally responded, and it was like my

heart skipped a few beats at her response.

Which should be quite stupid, because it wasn’t like I haven’t kissed her before or anything. I mean,

this was Sofia we were talking about, whom I was addicted to kissing.

But, there was just something about the way her response was, and it apparently got to me more than I

reaconed.

“That’s actually true, I really should be kissing you now.” I hummed out in response as I inched even

closer to her, loving how her breath hitched in her throat as I pressed her against the wall even more.

Sofia would never say something like this on a normal day. She was always shy, no matter how much

we’ve done this, which I was really endeared about, and I wasn’t complaining about our dynamic one

bit, because it got to me so much.

But, there was just something about how she was acting tonight, it felt like she wanted me just as much

as I wanted her, that I could almost feel her desperation in her words, and I liked every bit of it.

“You’re still not kissing me.” She mumbled again, lips pouting a little, and I cracked a small laugh, even

though I could feel my chest tighten for some unknown reasons.

“You’re that desperate for a kiss?” I hummed as I trailed the finger that had been previously holding her

jaw up, over her lower lips.

She flushed pink in embarrassment as my words sank into my head, but surprised me by nodding her

head abashly.

“I think so.” She whispered, and my blood turned hot instantly.

I leaned down without breaking the eye contact, and as expected, her breath hitched in her throat as

her lips fell open a little. At the last moment, I changed tastics and pressed my lips against the side of

her throat, featherlightly trailing kisses down the sexy column of her throat.

“You smell so nice, bunny.” I hummed as I dragged in a deep breath. I bit at the side of her collarbone

and a small whimper echoed around us, which only managed to make my blood run hotter.

“You’re still not kissing me.” She whispered as I began to lift my head up, and a dark grin spread out on

my face as I stare down into her gorgeous, gorgeous face.

“I won’t be kissing you for now, bunny.” I informed her in a low voice, and almost breathed out a laugh

at the way her eyes widened in shock.
