The sexual mood they were in was gone as he put Elena back to her feet.

“They are on top of the house.” He said, hearing a silent landing from them. They were so quiet that one wouldn’t hear them. But they have forgotten Demon wasn’t an ordinary Ninja.

“But I thought we fought those ninjas off, I was there when you sent your demons to discharge the dead bodies to wherever it is they are taken them to,” Elena said confusedly. Who could have sent another Ninjas to her aunt’s house since they killed every single one of them?

“Go and stay in your sister’s room, they might want to use her against you or me. I know you are a good fighter and you can protect her and yourself. I will go and inform your aunt,” Demon said to her.

“Eva knows how to fight, she knows how to take good care of herself.” Elena mumble.

“I can hear you Elena, we don’t have much time, just do as I say. There are a lot of Ninjas coming and I don’t want any of you to get hurt. I know you will protect your sister no matter what. Just keep an eye to the wall, Ninjas are like shadows on the wall.” Demon said. “Oh, just in case her room light is on, please turn it off so it won’t alert the Ninjas to the room and none of you should make any noise.” He added.

Eva was surprised to see her sister and quickly tried to make her face plain to hide her hurt.

“Yes, what can I do for you sis?” Eva asks, sitting upright in her bed.

“I came here to stay with you.” Elena replied and went to check if her room window is locked, when she confirmed it was locked, she closed the curtains. She switched off Eva’s room light.

“Okay, what’s going on?”

“Nothing, just came here to spend the night here. Or do you want to chase your sister out? Remember I am your only sister, so will you chase me out?” Elena asked, going to sit in her bed.

“No.”

“Good because even though you said yes, I won’t be going anywhere. Just do your thing while I mind my business.”

“Okay, cool by me,” Eva said and lay back down, just staring at her phone, hoping a little for Julian to call her again.

Demon who overheard the entire conversation was glad Eva cooperated. He ordered the shadows around him to Eva’s room, to keep them safe from harm. The shadows crept into Eva’s room without the girl’s knowledge since the room was dark. He put on his mask and left her room quickly going to the sitting room, luckily enough he saw Jess still seated.

“What is wrong?” Jess asked once she saw Demon masked face. She had seen Elena entering her sister’s room but shrugged that off.

“Ninjas are here.” He answered briefly and they saw a shadow at the window who raised his hand, with one punch, the glass window broke and they started coming inside. One went and opened the front door allowing the ones still outside to come inside.

“Ma’am, go and stay in Eva’s room. You will be protected there,” Demon said as he and Jess started moving backwards as the Ninja’s keep advancing towards them.

“No, I am staying here to help with the fight.” Jess said adamant.

“I won’t be concentrating on them if you are here, just do as I say, please.” Demon pleaded.

Jess nodded. “Okay, but if you die your blood is not in my hands because you told me not to help you,” She said and ran to Eva’s room, locking the door once in there.

“Do you know why we haven’t attacked you yet? We wanted to make you give that old lady some hope before you are beaten to a pulp,” The Ninja, who had gone to report back to his master, said. “Surrender now and let’s take you and the other girl in purple hair captive.”

“Never,” Demon said and brought out another small sword from his side which expanded. The one he had used to fight is on the couch he sat down with Jess and he was far from it, plus the house is full with Ninjas. “I hate to break it down to you, but I will. You won’t take any of us captive, I assure you.”

“Hope you are strong enough to fight all of us at once,” The Ninja guy said. “Attack him, wound him if you must but do not kill him, master do not want him or the purple haired girl dead. The rest in the house you can kill.” He ordered.

Demon was ready, he threw one of his Ninja throwing knives to the bulbs around the living room, putting the living room to Darkness. Both parties could see in darkness and they ran towards him.

He commanded the shadows around him to guard the door which his Elena and the rest were.

He fought them all.

“Aunt what’s really going on, first it was Elena who came here on the pretence that she wants to talk to me, and now you. What are you doing in my room and why am I hearing noises outside?” Eva inquired as soon as her aunt gave her the same flimsy excuse her sister gave to her.

Before her aunt would answer her, the window to Eva’s room was broken and the curtains were shifted enough to reveal two ninjas.

“That is why we are here.” Jess answered pointing at the Ninjas. Their dark eyes swept the room and landed on Elena.

“That’s her.” One out of the two Ninjas pointed at Elena and they jumped inside the room, behind them they saw many ninjas running towards the room and some were jumping down from the sky.

Before their feet would touch the ground, they were sent flying out of the window by Shadows to the very surprise of the three ladies in the room. The Shadows then became a shield on the window, preventing the Ninja’s from coming inside.

“What’s that?” Elena whispered.

“I don’t know, but whatever it is, it is on our side.” Jess responded.

“Are those Ninja’s?” Eva asked, shocked to her bones. The Ninja thrashed themselves on the shadows in the window and threw all their weapons at it, but it didn’t bulge nor make way for them.

“They are Ninja’s.” Jess confirmed her question.

“What are they doing here?”

“They are here for me and Damien. He is fighting them off.” Elena answered.

“What for?” Eva asked surprisedly.

“I don’t know.”

“Wait, did you just mention Damien is here and fighting those Ninja’s?”

“Yup, look Eva, when everything is over I will explain things to you.”

The Ninja’s on their window started vanishing one after the other.

2 hours later they didn’t hear any noise in the house again.

“You can come out now, it is safe.” They heard Demon’s voice and Elena was the first person to rush out of the room and went to meet Demon, checking all over him and was hoping he had no injuries. He had no mask on.

“Are you okay?” Elena asked worriedly.

“I healed faster Elena, but thanks for your worries sweetheart.” Demon answered, his silver eyes on Elena making her feel aroused.

“I wasn’t worried, I was only checking to see if you might need a first aid.” Elena lied and put some distance between them.

“Hi Eva.” He greeted the other girl who wasn’t wearing a mask. “I know who you are.”

“How did you know my name is Eva and are you also a Ninja?” Eva asked.

“You are all over the internet, and I am not a Ninja, I just like dressing like them. I am more than that.” Demon explained.

Jess looked around her house and even went outside to check, no sign of Ninja’s or blood anywhere, it was like before. Except for the broken things in the living room and Eva’s broken window, you wouldn’t have believed there was an attack. It’s good she has him as an Ally, she has to talk to Eremus.

She came back. “Everywhere is clear.”

“Yeah, my demons cleaned it up.”

“You are a freaking Demon!!” Eva shouted.

“Yes, not those ones who have horns and ugly, actually I am half Demon.” He replied to the surprised girl.

“There are a lot of things you, Elena and my aunt need to tell me. A fucking demon?” Eva mused slowly. “No wonder you are this beautiful.”

“Aha, you are more beautiful Eva, now that I can see you physically, you are very beautiful.” Demon said.

Elena’s heart twisted in hurt when she heard those words.

Eva blushes.

“But I prefer my Elena, she is pretty and gorgeous, and she is mine. I wonder how beautiful and pretty our children will look.” Demon said, staring at Elena as Eva laughed.

“Something helped us from preventing the Ninja’s from entering the room, it was in a shadow form.” Jess began. “You haven’t told us who you really are, who are you and how can you control shadows?”

“You are right, I am a half demon and also a Shadow walker.” Demon answer. “I have to go somewhere, I will be back soon, I need to find out why and who is after me.”

“Thanks for your help Chase.”

“No problem.” Demon turned to go and stopped, he walked back to Elena and before she could protest, he kissed her firmly on her lips and was gone like a wind.

His voice filled the air.

“I have left some shadows behind to look after the three of you until I am back.”

“Jackass.” Elena muttered.

“But you like that jackass and even allowed him to kiss you.” Eva chips in. “What are we going to do to my room window?”

“You will stay in Elena’s room until I fixed the window.” Jess answered her.

Eva followed her sister to her room, the shadows, Ninjas and Damien filled her thoughts all through the night.

7: AM

Julian had some quality time with Vivian and after the mind blowing sex they had, he hypothesize her from not remembering him.

He quietly left her home and drove back to his house. His eyes never left his phone, he thought by now he would have seen Evelyn’s call which wasn’t forthcoming.

He parked inside his compound and walked inside his house, entering his room. He happens to go to his room window to steal a peek from his neighbor’s house, he was hoping he would see Evelyn or perhaps Ena. His room light wasn’t on either the whole house, one would think the owner wasn’t around if not for the car.

He saw one of the room windows was broken and at that moment the curtains of the other room window opened to reveal Eva who was dressed for school, the events of the night didn’t make her or Elena sleep a wink.

Julian didn’t blink his eyes as he stared at the beauty in front of him. She was staring at the sky. Who is she and what she is doing with his new neighbor? Her scent hits him hard, his eyes widen when he hears his Leopard saying in his head. ‘Mate’ ‘Mate’ ‘My Mate’. He could picture his leopard wagging its tail. This strange beautiful girl is his soulmate. What is she doing there? Who is she?
