Madness: Part 2 – Chapter 55
I stand outside of the concrete room, hands on the bars to the cell. My eyes focus on Haidyn. He stands, tosses the now empty syringe to the other side of the room, and reaches up, grips the back of his T-shirt, and rips it off, throwing it away too.
The muscles in his back flex and his hands fist while he watches the guy on the ground open his eyes. He takes a deep breath and jumps to his feet.
Haidyn punches him in the face, knocking him back. The guy begins to swing, getting a hit in on his face.
“Wanna fight?” Haidyn gives a laugh that makes the hairs on the back of my neck rise. “Try someone your own size?” He lifts his fists in front of him, and the guy rushes toward him.
Haidyn steps to the side, and the guy runs right toward me, but before he reaches the bars, Haidyn’s arm wraps around his neck from behind, lifting the guy off his feet. Haidyn slams him down onto his back, and the guy rolls to the side and immediately jumps back up.
He’s on adrenaline. Why would Haidyn give him that when he’s not using it? Is he trying to get his ass kicked?
The guy laughs and swings. But he misses, and the momentum has him spinning out of control. Haidyn kicks him in the stomach, pushing him back into the wall once more. Haidyn grabs his arm and yanks him from the wall.
My shirt is grabbed, and I’m pulled back, forcing me to release the bars just as the guy runs into them. Before he can move, Haidyn steps up behind him, takes his hair, and begins to smash his face into the bars, over and over.
Blood from his face sprays into the hallway and onto us while his grunts fill the basement.
HAIDYN
I push the guy to the floor. He’s not out, but he’s fucked up enough that he’s done for now. In a few minutes, he’ll be passed the fuck out.
Saint unlocks the door, and I step out before he closes it, sealing the guy in once again. I spot Charlotte leaning against the wall with her arms over her chest. Not in an angry way but a protective way. “Hey.” I walk up to her and cup her face. Her eyes look up at me through her wet lashes. She was silently crying in the car, but she’s stopped since then. “You’re okay, doll face.”
She swallows, nodding her head. Her eyes sliding to the cell then back to me. They search my face, probably looking at the damage. He got a couple of hits in. I might as well be on adrenaline because I don’t feel a fucking thing right now other than uncontrollable rage. He put his hands on my girl, and I’m going to make sure he never does it again.
“Are you okay?” she speaks softly.
I smile at her concern. “I’m fine, doll face.”
“You shouldn’t have done that.” Her brows furrow as if I’m crazy for coming to her defense.
My bloody knuckles run along her jaw down to her neck, and her pulse is racing. “You’re …”
Pushing up on her tiptoes, she crashes her lips to mine, and her arms go around my neck. Without thought, my hands go to her ass, and I lift her off her feet. She wraps her legs around my waist. I press her back into the concrete wall, and she moans into my mouth. Her lips open for me to take control, and I devour her.NôvelDrama.Org owns all content.
My bloody hands grip her hair, and she whimpers into my mouth as if I’m hurting her, but she doesn’t pull away. Instead, her legs squeeze my waist tighter.
Slowing the kiss down, she pulls away first, and her heavy eyes open to look up at me. “Thank you,” she whispers.
I give her lips a soft kiss this time. Unable to stop. Fuck, I’m so hard right now. Is it bad that I want to open his cell and fuck her right here and now in front of that piece of shit just to show him that she’s mine? Rip her clothes off and put her ass up in the air so he can see my name branded on it?
Someone clears their throat, and I look over to see Saint staring at me with an arched brow. Kash nods his head in approval with his eyes on her.
She begins to unwrap her legs from around my waist and I lower her to the floor. “I’m going to take Charlotte up to my room, and then I’ll be back down,” I state, grabbing her hand.
“Take your time,” Kashton hollers with a chuckle as we enter the elevator. “He’s not going anywhere.”
