Chapter 2269
She comforted Preslie. "It's all over now and your family's gone. Besides, even Sheldon said that if any of them come looking for trouble, he'll help you out."
Preslie was quiet.
She had already long forgotten about her horrible family. The only thing on her mind right now was about Yesseca's situation.
But how was she going to tell Yesseca about it?
And should she help Treamine?
Preslie still hadn't decided.
During breakfast, Yesseca excitedly told her about their plans for their new store. The grand opening was only ten days away and they had a lot of things to prepare in those ten days.
When she was done explaining, Yesseca stretched her body and said, "Looks like I'll be very busy again."
Preslie then took the opportunity to ask, "Yesseca, do you like your current life?"
"Of course I do!" Yesseca smiled and said. "I'm very happy with my life right now!" "Do you like it more than the time you were in
Nashaland?"
Yesseca's face fell.
Preslie's heart skipped a beat. She quickly said, "Sorry Yesseca, I was just being curious."
Yesseca took a deep breath and said, "I don't want to talk about the time I was in Nashaland anymore. I've already put all those things in the past. Right now, all I want to do is live a good life."
Preslie bit her lip. She then plucked up the courage to ask, "Yesseca, if you somehow found out that everything that happened with Tremaine was a huge misunderstanding, do you think you'd want to get back together with him?"
"No!" Yesseca immediately answered. "That would be impossible!"
Yesseca stood up. "Preslie, don't ever mention that name again. I don't ever want to hear it again."
Preslie quickly shut her mouth.
Later, she quietly snuck into the bathroom and called Sheldon. She told him that she wasn't going to help Tremaine after all.
After thinking about it all night and seeing Yesseca's reaction this morning, Preslie decided she wouldn't help Tremaine after all.
Yesseca is doing really well right now. As her friend, she shouldn't be piling on more concerns for Yesseca.
What she wanted to do was to assist Yesseca and manage their new store together. As for everything else, she wouldn't bother about them.
Sheldon's heart sank when he heard her answer. "Preslie, please reconsider. The president really means it when he wants to get back together with her."
Preslie replied, "Whether that's true or not, he hurt Yesseca and she doesn't want to be with him anymore, so I don't think I should help him."Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
She paused for a moment and then continued, "Mr. Hawls, you should tell Tremaine to move on. Now that Yesseca is living a good life and has her own career, he should leave her alone. Tell Tremaine to let her go."

Sheldon was quiet.
Since she had decided not to help Tremaine, Preslie felt a little guilty about it. Since Sheldon hadn't responded, she quickly said, "Well, that's all I have to say. I'm hanging up now."
After hanging up the phone, Preslie let out a long sigh. She had a very conflicted look on her face.
It's not that she didn't want to help
Sheldon. She knew that this task was given to him by Tremaine. Sheldon would be in a very difficult spot if he failed.
But she had no other choice. If it were anything else, she would do her very best to help him.
But she just couldn't do this.
Yesseca was her best friend. She couldn't ignore her feelings just for Sheldon's sake.
