Yesseca was also in much better spirits lately, she wasn't going to wash all of that under the rug by reminding her about Tremaine.

That's why, after lots of consideration, she decided that she couldn't help Sheldon after all.

Sheldon entered Tremaine's office and told him that Preslie wasn't willing to persuade Yesseca.

He couldn't hide this from him anyway. He had to inform Tremaine eventually. He was just worried that Tremaine would be angry at Preslie. Sheldon made a point to stress the difficulties Preslie was facing. "Sir, it's not that she doesn't want to help, she just doesn't know how to even start. It's a very difficult thing for her to do, sir."

"Well, that's obvious." Tremaine interrupted.

Sheldon stopped talking.

He looked at Tremaine anxiously and said, "Mr. Tremaine, please don't be upset at Preslie."

Tremaine looked at Sheldon and said, "Do I look like someone who'd vent his anger on other people for no reason?"

Sheldon kept quiet.

"From your explanation, Preslie isn't to blame for this?"

Sheldon let out a huge sigh of relief.

Just then a thought crossed Tremaine's mind. "Once we're done for the day, we're going to Agaphen City. I'm going to see Preslie myself."

Sheldon was quiet.

He looked at Tremaine, surprised.

Tremaine then spoke loudly, "That's right. Since you weren't able to convince her yourself, its clear she doesn't know how sincere I am about this. So I'll go and tell her myself."

At half past six in the evening, Preslie received a call from Sheldon.

He said that he was in a restaurant in Agaphen City. He invited her to join him for dinner tonight and made it a point to mention that he would like her to come alone.

After she hung up the phone, Preslie's heart began to beat rapidly.

"Why is he suddenly inviting me out to dinner? And he had specifically told me to come alone. What could this mean?" She asked herself. Could it be?

Her heart nearly jumped out of her chest.

Yesseca was standing beside her, so Preslie told her everything. She blushed and said, "Yesseca, I had wanted to take you along, but Mr. Hawls told me to come alone."

Yesseca could tell what she had on her mind based on her reaction.

She laughed and said, "Well, you should go and meet him alone then, I don't want to end up being the third wheel."

Preslie looked at Yesseca in shock!

Her face was beet red. "Yesseca, don't say such nonsense!"

Yesseca replied with a straight face, "I wasn't speaking nonsense. Mr. Hawls has invited you out for dinner, just you, so it's obviously a date. I'm excusing myself from it so I won't interrupt the both of you. I won't be the third wheel to your romantic night together."

All of Preslie's blood rushed into her head.

She looked at Yesseca nervously. "Yesseca, do you really think that Mr. Hawls wants to take me on a date?"

She nodded.

"But, but........" Preslie's mind was a mess right now, she couldn't say anything.

Yesseca said, "I've always known that Sheldon had a thing for you. Now that he's invited you out on a dinner date, this simply proves me right. Well? Go on and get dressed! Don't keep Sheldon waiting."

Preslie felt her face burning up.

If Yesseca had told her this before, she never would have believed her, but now...

Sheldon told her that she was

beautiful and cute. Now, he had

invited her out for a dinner date and specifically asked for her to come alone. Looks like Yesseca was right.
