He held Cindy's hand. "I'd like to catch a break. We'll talk about my plans after that." He had a lot of

things to do—things that were more important than work.

Cindy mused over it and nodded. She didn't ask Ian about his plans. They leaned on each other and

made small talk, then delivery came. They roused Aurora and took their seats at the dining table.

pregnant. We'll have another member in the family."
