The Woman From Hell

Chapter 2683

"Did you forget that you asked me to look into Neil Hendersohn last time?"

At Marius' reminder, I recalled that I had indeed done so. However, I thought about how there was not much of a need for it and ended up forgetting.

"Are you saying you found something?" I asked.

Marius laughed. "It's not anything big. I just checked if what Neil said was the truth. His mother abandoned him and the news back then revealed that the Grants had adopted an orphan. It's probably him."

If that was the case, it was reasonable for the Grants to have supported Neil.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

I nodded repeatedly before sighing. "Neil is very pitiful. Yet, Theo still refuses to accept him."

"He's the child of a mistress, after all. I understand President Grant."

I tilted my head and looked at Marius, smiling. "It seems your relationship with Theo has been good recently."

Marius coughed when he heard this and waved his hands, "I can rest assured as long as he treats you well. With that, it's not difficult for us to coexist peacefully."

"Thank you."

"Oh, you're welcome. But Shannon isn't feeling good, so why don't we keep her company later tonight?"

To help Shannon let out her negative emotions, we took her to the largest bar in Whaldorf City. This place was different from the other smaller bars. The people who came here were either rich or nobles. Many big-name entrepreneurs came here to relax, and they kicked out those who were a mess.

Shannon was holding herself back a little at the start but ended up going through a few bottles once she started. I wanted to stop her, but I thought about how she must be in a bad mood and let her be. Fortunately, Marius was here to help me take care of her.

I supported Shannon who had thrown up out of the toilet and passed her onto Marius. "Help her to the private room so she can rest. I'm going to clean up my clothes." Shannon had thrown up on me just now. "Alright."

After watching Marius help Shannon away, I went into the bathroom to clean my clothes. It took me quite some time before I was finally done.

I left the toilet and made my way to the private room but then saw a familiar face in the room next to ours.

It was Keith and Nibel again.

Nibel kept looking for Keith. He seemed very serious about poaching him.

Like Theo, I believed in Keith and so, I did not pay much attention to them and entered the room.

Before I was even in, I heard a ruckus.

"Jordan, you b*stard. You're a

scumbag who deceives people's

feelings. I was married to you for so

long yet you told me that you

couldn't fall in love with me. You b*stard!"

"You're drunk. Let's go home."

It was Jordan's voice, and his tone was indifferent.

I hurried in and saw Shannon who was drunk and being supported by Marius pointing at Jordan, who was in front of me, as she cursed, "I want

to make it clear to you that I want

one who proposed the divorce to

the

you I was the one who didn't want

you first. It was me!"

Hearing Shannon's roar, I stepped forward and stood beside her. Jordan looked at me with his eyes shining. "Wanda, she's drunk. Just send her back."

They were once married, yet Jordan was so indifferent about Shannon after the divorce.

The lack of care in his tone

infuriated me. The anger

accumulated in my chest suddenly rushed up and I turned that into

selre

slap that was delivered across Jordan's face. "You've wasted her two years of her youth by saying you can't love her, Jordan. You're a disappointment."

Jordan touched his face but said nothing.

I shot him a glare before supporting Shannon. "Marius, let's get Shannon out of here."

"Alright."

As it turned out, they were not husband and wife who treated each other with respect and consideration but a couple that lacked love.
