About five minutes later, Laura and Kane came downstairs together. Zamora followed behind them in embarrassment.

Sage sipped her soup and looked at Laura. She asked knowingly, “What’s all the fuss about? What happened?”

Kane followed behind Laura and glared at Sage, telling her to shut up and eat. Sage pretended not to see his warning. She pulled the chair next to her for Laura to sit. Kane silently picked up his cup. “I’ll drink the milk.”

Only Laura reacted slowly. She ate her breakfast calmly and seemed unperturbed. “What kind of images?”
