Chapter 591
Chapter 591
Chapter 591 As night fell, Sage gave it a thought and decided, “Why don’t I take you somewhere a little more exciting?” Laura’s sleepy eyes widened suddenly, eager to play. “Exciting? Where?” Sage kept it a secret and arched her brow. “It’s going to be very exciting.” Laura’s heart suddenly thumped widely. She covered her face with her hands. “It can’t be… that kind of place?” “You’ll know soon. I won’t disappoint you.” Sage gave her a mysterious look. Then, she told the driver to drive them to the car service shop to pick up a sports car that she had serviced and repaired. Laura could not help but think, Miss Sage is really the great Missy.’ However, her lips twitched when she saw the bright green Pursche 911 shining under the night light. She asked hesitantly, “Is this… your car?” “My brother, Luther, gave it to me.” Sage said, “The color is ugly, but it’s a good car. Let’s not judge a car by its appearance. Let’s go. Get in.” Laura took a closer look at the car and found nothing wrong with it, except for the color. The car was cool and powerful. It was suitable for them to do exciting things. Sage drove Laura to the mysterious and exciting place. Laura was very excited, and the car drove further and further away from the city.
When they reached an elevated highway, the car finally stopped. The bright street lights illuminated the elevated highway like daylight. Dozens of racing cars were parked neatly on the side of the road.
Laura took a glance and realized that this was a racing circuit. She asked calmly. “So, this is the exciting place you were talking about.”
“Where else do you think it is?”.
“I thought it was…”
Laura almost blurted out her real thoughts. She turned back to Sage and saw her smiling mischievously.
She had to pat her. “You’re making fun of me!”Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
“My dearest Miss Lane.” Sage said with a smile, “Kane will kill me if I take you to that kind of place. Please forgive me.”
While they were talking, a tall white figure from the car in front of them jumped out and
approached Sage’s car. The man knocked on the window.
Sage lowered the window. It was Luther.
Luther said, “When I heard the guy from the car shop said you picked up your car, I figured you’d be coming here. So, what’s this? Is the Prince making a comeback?”
Sage smiled. “Wherever the Prince goes, wherever the battle is. How is this a comeback?”
Luther chuckled. He raised his hand as a gesture to move the barricades away and for everyone to move out of the way.
Sage told Laura, “Don’t worry. I won’t let you come here for nothing.”
She took out a white half-mask from the car and put it on, showing only her eyes. Then, she pressed a few buttons in the car. The roof swung open, and a sign appeared in front of the car.
It was a flamboyant rose-shaped logo. When the logo appeared, the racers who were leaning on their car or sitting in front of their car all stood up. They could not believe their eyes.
“Am I seeing things? Did I see it right? Is that really the rose logo?”
“Is it Prince? Is Prince here?”
In the next moment, the green car’s headlight was turned on with a whoosh. The crowd watched as the green car made a perfect S drive on the road with lightning speed. Before they could react, the door opened, and a slender figure slowly got out of the car.
It was a woman.
She wore a white mask, a plain colored T-shirt, black denim pants, and no accessories on her except for the choker with a rose pendant on her neck. She looked simple, cool, and casual.
Laura noticed that the casual racers who were hanging around all unknowingly got out of their car and stood up straight as if they were in the army.
They looked at Prince respectfully as if waiting for her to speak. However, she did not say much.
Prince only raised her index finger and pointed to the sky above. With a faint voice, she suggested, “The night is beautiful today. Will anyone accompany me to a race?”
