EPISODE FINAL FIFTY ONE
PART THREE
(A Deal With An Alpha)
THEME: Sinclair
BERLIN IN GERMANY
FIVE YEARS LATER
Avery’s Point Of View
Panic set within me few minutes after I realize that my son was gone. I was holding my son right now beside me so how did he end up leaving me? I brought him to the supermarket to buy groceries and now he is out of my sight. If I didn’t get carried away by the call I was making from work then I would still have my son with me.
My eyes scanned the grocery section but he wasn’t around. He must have wandered off to the other sections. I checked the time only to realize that I had lasted fifteen minutes on talking to my boss. I tried to tell myself not to panic but it didn’t work out.
“My son..” I mumbled, leaving behind the items I had picked from the shelves.
My son likes me buying him a popsicle so he must be in that section. When I got there, he wasn’t anywhere near the set of freezers. I told myself to stop overreacting that my son is somewhere around.
He is just a little boy that can’t even speak clearly. He doesn’t know how to take care of himself. Loosing my child has never happened before and we have never been separated.
I reassured myself that probably a guard must have found him. But I f I don’t see my son in the next two minutes, it is possible I lose my sanity. I raced into the children section where animal toys and extensive collections of miniature cars are being displayed.
“Sinclair!” I screamed out when I saw him sitting on the floor with a stuffed wolf toy trapped between his short legs.
How did he wonder this far to this section with his small legs? I heaved a sigh of relief as he jumped to his feet and ran towards me. I was also running to embrace him.
“Mama!” His small hands spread out and I picked him up. I could almost scream out at the relief of finding my son. He was there in my arms. I blinked back to clear my bleary eyes.
“Why did you wander off?” I said into his ears.
Sinclair held me tightly. It has just been I and Sinclair for so long. If anything ever happens to my son, I would surely lose my mind. Sinclair pulled back to look at me. And he reached to wipe the tear that had strayed down one of my cheeks.
“Mama..” he kissed my cheeks before clapping his hands.
“I love you.. my boy.” I dropped him to the ground to check out my son. He was perfectly fine. I crouched down to his size and hugged him again.
“I want… the wolf.” Sinclair pointed at the stuffed toy.
I looked ahead but it wasn’t there anymore. “I’ll get it for you. Do you want a new car too?” I asked him.
Sinclair nodded his head. I roughen his hair and kissed him again even as I carried him up.
“Luna Avery.” I heard someone say.
I looked away from Sinclair to see the person. A well built man stood in front of us with a bright smile on his face. He is a werewolf. I could tell the aura around him but it is definitely not an alpha.
I furrowed my eyebrows at what he just called me. It has been so long and I am nobody’s Luna anymore. I can’t even recognize the man’s face.
Is he here to take my son because he is a werewolf? Fierce protectiveness welled up inside of me. I let out a growl and he raised his hand up in surrender.
“I mean.. no harm.. Luna.” He rushed out his words in whisper. He was trying to be cautious because of the humans around.
“Who are you?” I asked.
“I am Leon. A native of black moon pack and I know you so well to be my alpha’s mate.” He answered.
“I am nobody’s mate so I don’t know what you are talking about.” I denied.
“I can smell my alpha’s blood in him. So I know-”
I cut him off. “Stay away from me.” I started walking backwards.
“Wait please! Trust me.. I mean no harm. You don’t need to worry about my identity because I have been out black moon pack from years now. I only tried to find him after I sniffed his blood in the air. I thought the alpha was around so I could pay my respect to him but I was surprised to find the little boy. I knew he was lost so I had to keep him busy with the wolf toy until someone comes around to find him.” Leon explained.
Okay! Relax Avery.. he means no harm. I sighed in acceptance and Leon moved closer only for him to bow his head to us.
“Please.. raise your head.” I said.
It was embarrassing to see the human watch him bow down to us. I have done a great job at hiding our identities for the humans we have lived with for years.

After paying for our items, I agreed to have coffee with Leon. I asked the first question that came to my mind.
“What about Kayden? He must be doing fine with Corinna.”
Leon sipped his coffee before setting the cup down on the table. “The alpha is not doing fine. He hasn’t been himself since you left the pack. Alpha Kayden became a shadow of himself after he came to find you at the college area but you weren’t there anymore. I think it.. was about two months after you left the pack. He resulted into drinking and Beta Paulo had to be the one running the pack with the big alpha those times. He didn’t even pay so much attention to his pregnant mistress.” Leon explained.
I didn’t tell him to live a reckless life. I didn’t expect that Kayden would come find me. I had envisioned him living a good life with his best friend.
“Everyone found out the truth the day your parents came to the pack. They had to visit because your phone has been switched off and your social media accounts disappeared. When they discovered the truth, your elder brother James ended up beating up alpha Kayden for maltreating you. Your father almost declared war but Luna Beatrice pleaded with him for forgiveness.” He recounted the incident.
I kept Sinclair busy on my laps with a popsicle in his mouth. I knew my father was going to take action into his hands if he ever finds out the truth.
“Alpha Scott didn’t try to save his son’s reputation. He watched your brother beat up the alpha. And everyone gossiped about Corinna in the open spaces. She became the talk of the pack and was given different names for snatching the alpha from his mate. You shouldn’t have left, Luna Avery.” Leon drank his coffee again.
I have never had regrets of leaving Kayden. In fact I am glad that I left him anyways.
“Corinna died after giving birth. Unfortunately, her baby girl also died seven days after her birth.” Leon added.
My eyes widened in shock. I wasn’t expecting such news. Corinna and her baby died?! My jaw dropped completely.
“It was a huge blow on the alpha and his family. There was a time he needed you to heal after he drank poison to take his life. So Alpha Scott ordered fourteen of us to look for you but all effort to find you proved abortive.” Leon shook his head slowly with a sad look on his face.
“Is he okay now?” I asked. I couldn’t help but feel bad for Kayden.
“I left the pack three years ago and relocated to Germany with my mate. A friend in the pack has been the one giving me information about the pack. Alpha Kayden is still thinking of you. And he has been ruling the pack for three years now.” Leon responded with a shrug.
I didn’t hear any other words for several minutes until Leon broke the silence.
“No one knows about him right?” Leon pointed at my son.
“No one needs to know. We have both been doing fine alone.” I replied.
Leon’s phone on the table beeped. “I have to go ahead to meet my mate. She is close by. We have to run our pup’s first scan today.” Leon stood up to leave.Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.
I managed a small smile on my face. “Congratulations.”
Leon smiled. “Wait Leon!” I stopped him.
“Yes, Luna Avery.” He said.
“Promise me that you won’t tell anyone about me and my son.” My eyes pleaded with him.
Leon just simply nodded his head. He said goodbye with a bow and then walked away.
