Back in Time: Unshackling From Love (Mikayla Davidson)

Chapter 106

Chapter 106

A rough night for her?

It took Mikayla a second but she understood what Amy was implying

Probably because of her loud crying last night, Amy must’ve misunderstood something Content provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

“Amy, we didn’t do it” Mikayla denied while blushing “I just got drunk last night and might’ve made a bit

of noise.”

Amy thought she was just shy and said softly. “Madam, you and Sir should’ve lived together sooner. Spending more time together helps your relationship be strong”

“Why are you still standing there? Come over and eat” Jerome’s indifferent voice broke in just as Mikayla was uncertain what to do from the awkwardness

“That’s right, Madam. Please have your breakfast. I be in the kitchen.”

After Amy left, Mikayla glared at Jerome

“Why didn’t you help to explain?”

Jerome glanced at her

Tm useless anyway. What’s the point of explaining?

He used her words from last night against her

She thought about the stuff she had whispered to Jerome last night

Her embarrassment was over the roof. She didn’t know what had come over her that made her speak so

boldly

“Do you flirt with men every time you get drunk?

Mikayla blushed and retorted, “I told you I dont remember anything

Jerome sneered

Before he could say anything his phone rang

He looked at the number and answered the call

After listening to the caller, he replied indifferently, “Got it. I’ll go to the hospital later.”

Mikayla knew who Jerome was going to see in the hospital.

She suddenly lost her appetite and walked out with her purse.

“You haven’t eaten anything Where are you going?” Jerome stopped her.

Mikayla replied, “You seem to be mentally challenged. I’m going to look for a doctor for you.”

Without waiting for him to react, she strode out of the house.

She knew that Kylie was waiting for Jerome in the hospital.

Even with another woman by his side, he still refused to get the divorce done as soon as possible.

What an unfaithful scumbag.

As soon as Mikayla arrived at Ansoft, Michael called her.

She thought he was going to question her for not attending the past few training sessions.

Before Michael could speak, Mikayla quickly apologized.

“I’m sorry. There’s been a lot going on lately. I’ll make sure to attend training every day starting tomorrow.”

Michael was stunned for a moment and then laughed.

“I’m not calling about this. I called because I wanted to check if you’re free this afternoon.”

“I think so. What’s the matter?”

Michael said embarrassingly, “Our band is planning an outdoor barbecue event. I was wondering if you’d

like to join us.”

Mikayla guessed that Michael had probably seen her trending online.

Probably worried that she would be sad and alone, he wanted to take her out to get her mind off the

situation.

Though Mikayla was not as pitiful as what people might think, the fact that someone cared about her still

moved her.

Since she had nothing to do in the afternoon, hanging out with them wouldn’t be a bad idea.

Besides, she owed Michael’s friends a favor last time, and she could take this opportunity to thank them

in person.

So she agreed, “Sure, send me the address. I’ll go there straight away.”

After hanging up the call, Mikayla went to Betty’s office and saw Taylor:

He was sitting on a sofa in the reception area.

He wore a dark purple suit with a black shirt underneath.

Compared to his previous casual white attire, he looked more formal today.

Yet, his expression was as arrogant as before.

“Ms. Davidson, it’s been a while, Taylor greeted her.
