Back in Time: Unshackling From Love (Mikayla Davidson)

Chapter 76

Chapter 76

Mikayla asked, “What are you talking about?”

Taylor said, “A woman will come in later. Make her go away.”

Mikayla thought she misheard him. “What do you mean?*

Taylor didn’t hide his annoyance toward the woman and said, “She’s an annoying woman who won’t stop pestering me.”

From Taylor’s reaction, Mikayla could guess that this woman must have had an affair with Taylor and he couldn’t get rid of her due to some particular reason. Thus, he wanted to use Mikayla to make her leave.

If she were just an ordinary person, he would have dealt with her long ago and wouldn’t bother asking Mikayla for help.

“How could I do that? Everyone knows that I’m Mrs. Miller. I doubt she is going to believe

that I’m one of your love interests,” Mikayla said.

Taylor casually replied, “That’s your problem to consider, not mine. If you manage to make

her leave, I’ll pretend that the incident didn’t happen at all. Or else you would have to drink

this bottle of wine.

“Only then will I consider whether to ask for more compensation for the mental distress

you’ve caused me.”

Taylor added wickedly, “Don’t expect Jerome to come to your rescue this time. I’m not going to let him get what he wants even if he is here.”

Mikayla knew that Taylor had planned for this to happen.

With Jerome away on a business trip, he couldn’t possibly come to her aid.

Mikayla asked, “Why are you doing this to me? There are other people who can resolve this

problem for you.”

“No one is more suitable than you because you’re a beautiful woman and you won’t be able to use this against me. Besides, this is what you owe me,” Taylor answered patiently.

She finally understood why Taylor had brought her here. It was because he wanted to

embarrass her.

“Mr. Blue, Ms. Sullivan is here,” a voice came through the intercom.

Mikayla took the opportunity to reach into her bag and found her phone.

“Got it,” Taylor replied.

Then, he turned to Mikayla and said, “Mrs. Miller, I’ll leave the rest to you. Rest assured, I’ll keep my word.

“As long as you can make her go away, I’ll forget about everything that happened before this.”

Mikayla raised her voice slightly and said, “Mr. Blue, I really can’t do this. It wouldn’t be good for your image if we ended up fighting in your office, right?” NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

“It doesn’t matter. If you break something, you’ll compensate accordingly,” Taylor said nonchalantly.

In the midst of their conversation, a beautifully dressed woman in her early twenties. walked into Taylor’s office.

“Taylor!” Irene Sullivan said sweetly as she saw Taylor.

Upon seeing Mikayla, her smiling face turned cold. She asked, “Who is this woman?”
