A LITTLE BIT OF TRUTH (Part One):

He had to slow down his healing and allowed his blood to flow from the cut so Elena won’t know he was inhuman. He had purposely allowed one of them to cut into his arm so she wouldn’t have any suspicion.

He shouldn’t have neared the sisters at all. Now he has put Elena and Eva into trouble.

Whoever sent the Ninjas had seen him with the girls.

Shit! He was in bigger trouble, how can he protect the one he was supposed to kill? Now that he has shown this little side of him, Elena will want to find out more about him. Shouldn’t he have allowed them to kill her making it more easier for him?

Getting up to her feet her gaze on the dead people in the school restroom. What if someone, a female, comes in at that minute and sees them, what will be her answers?

And come to think of it, probably these Ninja’s were sent by the assassin who kills Princesses. Does that mean he or she knows her identity and has tracked her to this place?

“What’s going on? Who are those guys you just murdered in cold blood? You should have just beat them and then call the cops to come and arrest them instead of killing them.” Elena fired even though Damien had just saved her life.Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

“And you think they won’t be released after that? Whoever sent them must know of their arrest and have them released quickly,” Demon said thinking of a way to tell Elena to get out of the restroom for his demons to clean up the mess without sounding rude.

“No matter what they did, death is not always the answer. They might have families waiting for their return,” Elena said.

Yeah, more like going back to their master.

Demon thought. “They were after you, not me. You have to be very careful from now onwards, your eyes need to be sharp.” Demon told her. “Go and check your sister if she is alright but you haven’t told me why you ran away from the school cafeteria when you saw Davi- I mean Dave.”

“When you tell me how you know how to fight Ninjas so well, I will tell you why I ran away when I saw Davi- no Dave.” Elena said in the same voice he used in his last statement. “And thanks for reminding me about my sister.” She adds and dashes out of the restroom towards the school cafeteria. She was hoping her eyes were deceiving her about the horns on Dave’s head.

Demon breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Elena running out. As soon as the door closed behind Elena, three demons appeared next to him.

“Clean up the mess and have them buried. There is a lady who is still unconscious in one of the toilets. Take her with you and have her chained inside my new house. I will question her once I get back, by then she might have regained her consciousness.” Demon commanded the three demons who all replied. “Yes my Lord.” And started doing as they were told.

“Make sure no blood stains are seen on the floor.” Demon said and left the restroom walking towards the direction of the school cafeteria.

Elena has to calm her breathing down when she saw her sister laughing together with Dave whose back was facing her. She blinked her eyes a multiple times more, now sure her eyes weren’t deceiving her. On Dave’s head are two horns.

Eva was the first person to see her and wave to her.

“Here comes the drama queen who ran away.” Eva said to Dave who then turned to send a smile to Elena.

Elena’s breath ceased immediately when she saw Dave smile and his face, his eyes were red, and his smile showed his two sharp fangs protruding out of his mouth, it was longer than a dog’s own.

She nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt the hand of someone touching her shoulder. She turned around and saw Damien.

“Why aren’t you inside with your sister and your new friend?” Demon said holding his tongue before he add ‘Princess Elena’

Was he blind? Can’t he see the face of Dave with his horns? What is happening to her? Please don’t let it be only me who sees his hideous face.

Elena thought.

“Damien, Dave looked so different today.” Elena said, still staring at Dave who was glaring at the guy standing next to her. She can’t say the words out yet.

What if he could hear her from there? He is a monster and can have super hearing ability. If I told Damien what I can see and he hears it, wouldn’t he kill me in my sleep since I now know his true identity? And most importantly why am I seeing this?

Various thoughts ran through Elena’s mind.

“That’s because he was covered in dirt and cuts yesterday when you rescued him from the school bullying.” Demon voices brought her out of her thoughts.

Speaking of the cuts he received yesterday, she saw no cuts on him right now, she was very sure there were some cuts in him and bruises. She wasn’t dreaming or imagining things.

“No I mean.” Elena has to bend the taller guy’s head to her level and whispers the remaining words inside his ears. “I can see horns and fangs in his head and teeth, and his eyes are red.” She removed her lips from his ears and noticed the quietness of the cafeteria as her eyes stared at them.

Demon controlled himself from grabbing Elena right now and kissed the hell out of her lips. Feeling her mouth so close to his ear makes him yarn for more. He wondered how her lips would feel on his lips. He could try to steal a kiss from her unexpectedly and say it’s a mistake. He couldn’t take his eyes off her lips. He wanted to have a taste of her lips so bad that he might pretend to be a kidnapper and have her corner in a place and just steal a kiss from her then afterwards, release her.

Then what she said came clearer into his mind and cleared all his whole dirty thoughts away.

“Wait, you see him as in him?” Demon asked in shock.

“Yes. That was what made me run into the restroom.” Elena confirmed. “I don’t really understand what is going on again.”

“Just concentrate on your sister and pretend you are not seeing anything in him.” Demon whispered back.

All these while they have been whispering into each other’s ears.

“I have told you why I had run out of the cafeteria, now you will have to tell me how you were able to fight those Ninja’s.”

“I will explain everything. Let’s go and take our seats,” Demon said that aloud and he and Elena made their way to their seats. They both sat down on the two empty seats.

“What were you and Damien discussing so low into each other’s ears?” Dave asked with a smile.

Just pretend you are not seeing anything extraordinary. Do as what Damien said.

Elena said in her mind and smiled back.

“Discussing something private.” She replied. “By the way, I thought you had cuts from the beatings they gave you yesterday, I saw cuts on you but not again.” She is waiting for the lies she knows will come out.

“I wasn’t injured, you know I was hurt and filled with dirt all over me so it might look as if I was injured whereas I am not ” Dave lied.

“But I saw your face, it was covered in bruises,” Elena said.

“Ena just let it go.” Demon voice cut in giving her a certain look.

They ate their food in silence but Demon and Dave didn’t eat.

Soon it was time for lessons and Elena, Eva and Demon both walked to their classes. Elena waited until her sister had entered her class before she proceeded with her own class.

Soon it was closing time and everyone started going on. Waving the two sisters bye, he entered his car and drove off. Elena and Eva quickly entered their Lamborghini and drove out of the school compound.

Someone outside the school premises made a call which rang and was picked at the third ring.

“Mission was abortive, she is alive. Demon stopped their attack.” He told the receiver and ended the call after a few minutes, leaving.

Somewhere in an Unknown Place:

“They couldn’t defeat Demon and the girl and you said they are your best Ninja’s?” The Ninja lady who spoke stood up angrily from where she sat. Her face was covered.

“We will have her soon my Lady, I can assure you that.” A Ninja man replied to her.

“When will that be? I don’t have patience. I need the girl by all means, whether dead or alive. In that way Demon won’t know who is attacking,” The Lady said.

“We will get you the girl soon. I am going to send the best of the best Ninja’s to her house tonight. As we speak, my spy is spying on them and will inform me where they live. Don’t worry my Lady, we shall bring her to you,” The man said.

“Good. I hope you keep to your promise. I will come again and if you fail this time, I will have your head hung in the outside gate of your Ninja school,” The Ninja lady said.

“Of course my lady,” The man said in fear and bowed.

The Ninja Lady disappeared.
