Chapter 25
Chapter 25
Alissa woke up in not so fresh mood. She stood up from her bed and went to check on to Jade. She
was sleeping peacefully. Alissa went back to her room and took a shower. Today was her day off. As it
was Sunday. She took a quick shower and thought to get dressed. She took a white sundress. She
went to Jade's room and found that she was not in her bed. Alissa thought she must be in her
bathroom.
Jade came out of the bathroom and saw Alissa standing there. Jade was wearing just a robe. Alissa
smiled at her and Jade gave her a cracked smile.
"Get ready. I am preparing for the breakfast" Alissa with that went out of her room and straight into the
kitchen.
Today she thought to make pancakes. It was Jade's favourite, so to cheer up her mood as she was
very low from the last night. Alissa quickly did all the stuff and Jade also came out of her room. Alissa
served the pancakes in the plate and took them to the table. She put the plate in front of Jade and saw
her smiled a bit. Alissa was happy that at least she smiled even if it was just a little. Cause sometimes
it's hard as hell to make Jade smile when she is upset.
"So, did you get enough sleep?" Alissa asked while taking a bit of the pancake.
"Yeah" Jade said.
Alissa thought to talk about last night as she won't talk to her after that. All she will do is go back to her
bed and do something in her cell phone.
"So, you want talk about last night?" Alissa looked at her with concerned eyes.
Jade's eyes suddenly brimmed with tears. She blinked her eyes to keep the tears out of rolling down
from her eyes. Alissa took a deep breath and put her hand on Jade's.
"See, I am your sister. You can tell me anything you want" Alissa said.
"It's just. I cannot tell you. You will be hurt" Alissa now felt a little scared after listening to this line but
didn't let Jade see it.
"I won't be hurt. Just tell me" Alissa looked at her with pleading eyes.
"I don't want to stay here" Alissa's eyes almost popped out after hearing this.
"This house. Or..what?...Wh-Why? See I can only afford a hous-" She was interrupted by Jade.
"No. No. No. I am not talking about this house. I meant that I want to go to boarding"
Alissa scrunched her eyes.
"Boarding? Why? Is your teacher not teaching your right. Or you can't understand something. I'll talk to
him and tell him to give a lengthy explanation to you in every chapter. If that is what the case is" Alissa
said.
"No. I just want to get out a bit and realise who I really am. I don't want to be just a burden over you
and I want to grow up a bit. I am sixteen" She emphasised the word 'sixteen' a way much than needed.
"See I totally understand Alissa that you will say that I am not a burden but I want to accomplish
something. Not just getting homeschooled and do nothing"
"Jade, I'll...umm....Do something about it" Alissa felt the taste of metal inside of her mouth. Material © NôvelDrama.Org.
She did not expected this thing. She didn't know that Jade was being suffocated at home. She is right
but, no one wants to be a PA in future. No one wants to. No one will ever dream of being a PA instead
of being the Boss.
"Yeah...um....I'll find a boarding school for you. Uh...I have to go somewhere. To meet my friend.
Eleanor." With that Alissa ate her food and left the house.
She was walking down, don't know where she have to go. It was a bright sunny day. She didn't know
where she have to go cause she lied to Jade that she have to go and meet Eleanor. She went inside of
a small restraunt and ordered a coffee. She was in a deep thought. Soon the coffee came and she took
a small sip of it, but the taste did not filled her heart.
She was lost in her thoughts that someone kept the bouquet of flowers in front of her. Her eyes diverted
towards the bouquet and it was beautiful. She looked up and saw Eric smiling at her showing his
perfectly shaped teeth.
"Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl"
Alissa got up and said
"Sir..."
He laughed and said
"Eric"
She smiled and they both sat on their chair. He looked at her and said "You alright?"
She nodded her head. Eric was not convinced and thought to ask her.
"Are you sure? See I want to help you because I have only one week to prove you I am genuinely sorry
for what I've done with you. So please tell me if something is wrong"
Alissa was pleased by his lines. She didn't know that he cared so much.
"It's just about my sister" She finally said.
"Oh! What is it about?" He asked.
"She wants to move out and go to a boarding school"
"So is it about something money.. having problems in paying the fees I can help you with that" Eric
said.
"I am glad that you thought about me but it is not about the fees. It is that I couldn't see that my sister
was so suffocated inside the house. I must have been the major reason of her suffocation cause I left
her in the house for the entire day without even realising that she must have been so fed up. She have
her own dreams, she don't want to become a secretary or a waitress or something in future. Nobody
wants to. By the way, why the hell would anyone will even dream of being any on these things. I am so
upset with myself" Alissa said it all with genuine emotions.
Eric stared at her and a grin was hanging on his face.
"Anyone wants to be a PA if their boss is as smart as me" He joked.
She stared at him without any expression.
"Sorry" He said.
"It is just this" Alissa said.
"Let her go out. And don't think that you are the reason of it Alissa. In fact you did this to give her a
better life. Teenagers sometimes just don't understand that. They have all those mood swings and all.
You know" He said and Alissa nodded.
"Come on" He said.
"Where?" She asked.
"There is something I want to show you" And with that he took her hand and led her towards his
car.
