Billionaire’s Pampered Wife

Chapter 32 The brave one wins.

“I am divorced, and his family will not agree,” Stella said with self-acknowledgment.

Eli shook Stella’s head. “Why are you so pedantic? You and Federick have no children. What era is it now? A divorce is more common than the unmarried.” Eli said.

“Let’s not talk about this anymore. I’ve to finish my work,” Stella said.

Eli saw a gift bag on Stella’s table.

Eli curiously took it out to have a look.

There was a Chanel pink gauze dress. At first glance, she knew that the dress was very expensive.

“Is it from Federick?” Eli asked in disgust.

“Yes,” Stella answered without looking at the dress.

“Federick is generous to women, but he is generous to more than one woman. You won’t be fooled by him, will you?” Eli asked worriedly.

Stella looked up and her eyes were as clear as water. “I’ve already given up on Federick,” Stella said.

Eli gave Stella a thumbs-up as a sign of agreement. “That’s right. I’ve been keeping an eye on Federick for the past few days. You can easily find evidence of Federick’s infidelity and hand it over to our besties.” Eli added.

“Thank you, Since I have nothing to do this afternoon, I will go to the law office to inquire about the situation,” Stella said.

“Hurry up,” Eli replied.

Stella inquired about the details with the lawyer.

The lawyer said that if there was evidence of Federick’s infidelity, Stella could enforce a divorce.

It was not difficult to get evidence of Federick’s affair.

Stella came out of the law office.

The phone rang.

“Where are you? Did you ask for leave this afternoon?” Federick asked suspiciously.

Stella did not want to tell Federick her plan to divorce so that Federick would not be on guard.

Stella said perfunctorily, “Well, I went out for a walk. Now I’m going back to the hospital.”

“See you at the hospital gate in half an hour,” Federick said unhappily and hung up the phone.

Stella took a deep breath.

Just endure it.

Stella had endured it for so many years, and there were just a few days left.

She went back to the office and changed into the dress that Federick gave.Content bel0ngs to Nôvel(D)r/a/ma.Org.

The phone rang again. It was from Federick.

“Stella, there’s a limit to your arrogance. I’ve been waiting for you for ten minutes.” Federick said angrily.

Stella sneered.

Stella had been waiting for him for three years. Ten minutes was nothing.

“I’ll be at the door in five minutes.” Stella ignored Federick’s anger and hung up the phone.

He got out of the car, looked at the exit, and frowned.

Federick came off work early to wait for her. Stella was appreciating his goodwill.

Not long later, Stella came out of the exit.

A look of surprise flashed in Federick’s eyes, amazed by her beauty.

Stella always dressed older than her age.

In fact, Stella was only 24.

The pink silk dress was perfect on her, and the elegant material outlined Stella’s perfect figure.

In particular, it was the knee length and three-dimensional cutting that showed off Stella’s long and slender calves.

Stella was very beautiful after dressing up.

Beautiful things were always pleasing to the eyes.

Federick’s wrath subsided and opened the door.

Stella got in the car and put her seat belt on. Stella asked faintly, “Where are you taking me?”

“Ritz Club,” Federick said with a smile.

New Century Ritz Club was the most luxurious club in Baskerville.

Most people would not be able to book a VIP room at the Ritz Club.

Stella followed Federick into the VIP room.

Felicia naturally took Federick’s arm and introduced to Wilson Chuck with a smile, “Dad, it was Federick who saved me yesterday.”

Wilson smiled with satisfaction and reached out his hand. “Minister, you are a young talent from the Ministry of Health Department. I’ve met you before. Nice to meet you again. Thank you for helping my daughter.” Wilson said politely.

Stella stood by the door and watched how close they were. Stella slightly lifted the edge of her lips.

Stella seemed to be the extra one.

After Federick shook hands with Wilson, Federick glanced at Stella, who was standing at the door, and said, “Come in.”

When Wilson saw Stella, his face suddenly turned pale and his smile froze on his face.

“Federick, who is she?” Felicia asked cautiously.

“I told you before that’s my wife Stella,” Federick said with a smile.

Stella could see the faces of Wilson and Felicia changed.

Wilson glanced at Felicia with dissatisfaction.

Wilson thought that Felicia hooked up with Federick.

But in fact, Federick was married to Stella who was the daughter of Wilson’s ex-wife.

Wilson felt uncomfortable.

However, Wilson did not lose his temper with Federick around. Wilson said in a deep voice, “Please take a seat. I have another two friends coming.”

Federick held Stella and sat down.

The atmosphere was strange.

“I’m sorry, I’m late.” Steven came in and said apologetically.

When Wilson saw that it was Steven, Wilson immediately got up to welcome Steven and shook hands tightly. Wilson’s cold face became warm again like a ray of sunshine. “You’re the one who gave me the greatest respect,” Wilson said.

Wilson looked behind Steven with a smile on his face.

“Like father, like son. I’ve seen General Jasper’s bravery. Please have a seat.” Wilson said hypocritically.

Stella glanced at Jasper in surprise.

She didn’t expect to meet Jasper here.

Jasper’s expression was tense and cold. There was not a trace of a smile on Jasper’s face. He looked at Stella faintly and looked away as if Jasper did not know her.

“General Jasper, long time no see.” Federick smiled. Federick deliberately held Stella’s shoulder and pulled her into his arms.

“I don’t seem to be familiar with you.” Jasper sat opposite Stella arrogantly. Jasper’s distant aura made him look more arrogant and superior.

Not familiar. These two words made Stella’s heart trembled slightly.

It sounded familiar to Stella as if she said the same words to him before.

However, Jasper still helped Stella solved the hospital dispute.

Stella lowered her eyes.

Wilson studied Jasper and turned to Felicia with a pair of sharp eyes. “General Jasper is young and promising. Do you have a girlfriend?” Wilson asked.

“I have a fiance.” Jasper looked up at Wilson coldly.

Jasper glanced at Stella from the corner of his eye.

Stella’s face was calm as if Jasper’s fiance had nothing to do with her. Was Jasper really a stranger to her?

Jasper’s face became colder. Jasper poured himself some red wine and drank it up.

“Ah.” Wilson was quite disappointed. “When did this happen? Steven, why didn’t I hear such good news from you?” Wilson asked.

“It’s hard to say about children’s love relationship as they are always getting-together, breaking-up, and argue. However, I want to announce this good news at tomorrow night’s banquet,” Steven said happily.

“So you have a fiancée.” Federick picked up the wine glass, gestured to Jasper, and said meaningfully, “General Jasper, you must have quite a good relationship with your fiancée. It’s really admirable that you can sit still. I shall propose a toast to you.”

Jasper did not raise his glass.

Federick felt that the atmosphere was a little boring. “By the way, thank you for saving my wife last night. Stella was crying in my arms as if she had been greatly wronged. I think she must be frightened by what happened last night.”

Jasper’s sharp gaze swept over Stella, and his grip on the cup intensified a little. “I guess what happened in the morning really scared her,” Jasper said.
