Blind Date Turned Proposal

Chapter 1156 Go To Hell

Dexter hadn't lifted a finger in many years, but when he did, it was to tear someplace down.

Forced into a corner, Josie could only endure the pain and watch as Dexter and Justin fought the security guards. Though it was called a fight, it was more of a one-sided beating. The inexperienced security guards at the club were no match for their well-trained opponents.

Dexter slammed a security guard's head onto the ground, showing no mercy. Blood immediately trickled from the corner of the man's mouth as he begged for mercy. Only then did Dexter let go, his voice icy to the extreme. "Who ordered you to do this?"

The security guard kept mum.

"Speak up!"

Josie rubbed her neck, wincing from the severe pain. It was clear that these people had targeted her with premeditated and organized intent.

The veins in Dexter's neck bulged prominently, his entire being radiating an ominous aura. He leaned in closer, repeating his words, "If you won't talk to me, you'll talk to Hades himself."

He picked up the blood-stained club from the ground, ready to strike. Sensing something was amiss, Josie quickly shouted, "Dexter!"

His actions came to an abrupt halt, as he cast a glance at her.Material © NôvelDrama.Org.

If he really went through with it, the security guard might have truly gone to meet Hades.

Josie slowly shook her head at him.

Just then, a scream echoed from outside. It was a woman who had merely intended to use the restroom, but instead, she was met with a gruesome sight. Blood was splattered everywhere, and several people lay fallen.

Dexter lifted his gaze, and to his surprise, he saw that the woman was Laura. Her face was filled with shock as she took in the scene, and she cried out in disbelief, "Dexter?"

Dexter had already risen to his feet. He walked over to Josie, helping her up and leading her away. Justin, still seething with anger, landed two solid punches on those men. "I'll hit you every time I see you!" Laura stood frozen in place, her surprise deepening at the sight of Josie. "What's going on? Y-You..." she stammered.

Enduring the pain, Josie asked, "Laura? What are you doing here?"

"Me? I came for the social gathering. I didn't expect to find you here. Did these people beat you up?"

Laura bombarded her with a series of questions, to which Josie had no idea how to respond. However, Dexter took over the conversation. "Tell the person in charge of this club for me, if they can't provide an answer to this matter today, they might as well quit their business."

Laura clenched her fists tightly, overwhelmed by the oppressive aura.

Outside, Moses was leaning against the car, smoking. Seeing several people covered in blood, he was taken aback. "What happened? Did a fight break out?"

Dexter coldly stated, "Go to the hospital!"

Dexter was filled with an uncontrollable resentment. Throughout the journey, he made several related phone calls, none of which were conducted in a pleasant tone.

Unable to resist, Josie reached out. "The skin and flesh are wounded, but there's no internal damage."

Dexter glanced sideways, his eyes filled with heartache. He took Josie's hand. "Does it hurt?"

Josie shook her head. "This club belongs to Arnold. It's not good to offend him at this crucial moment."

Dexter didn't respond, seemingly lost in thought. Even upon reaching the hospital, there was no sign of his mood improving.

A full body examination had been conducted, confirming that it was indeed just an external wound. The doctor had treated Josie's injury, but Dexter insisted on having her admitted to the hospital. Josie intervened. "Are you out of your mind? Grape is still at home, and you want me to stay here? How can I possibly be at ease?"

Dexter insisted that she stay at the hospital.

Josie was about to argue further, but the doctor interjected, "Actually Ms. Warren's injuries are not serious. Just be careful not to get them wet. There's no need for hospitalization. Mr. Russell, on the other hand... perhaps you should consider getting checked out?"

His gaze fell upon Dexter's hands, which were entirely smeared with blood.

Dexter's eyes narrowed. "It's not my blood."

The doctor was at a loss for words.

News of the incident at the country club quickly spread throughout the entire Rivodia.
