CEO's Tears Over Pregnancy Test Discovery

Chapter 819

"Missing? How could Arin suddenly go missing?" Nina's heart tightened with worry.

Sean sobbed, "I don't know. I don't know. She said she was going into the mountains to hunt wild boar. She never came back. She's missing..."

"What on earth was she thinking, going to hunt wild boar?"

"She wanted to cook. Arin said there wasn't enough meat at home and she wanted to bring back a wild boar and cook something nice for you. Miss Nina, what should we do? Where can we find my sister?" Sean's tears and snot mingled as he cried.

Nina, trying to stay calm, found the situation strange. She asked, "Where are your parents?"

"Dad and Mom went into the mountains to look for her, and they haven't come back yet."

"Then we should go look too." Nina remembered something, "Right, we need more people. Let's get help."

"Miss Nina," Sean continued to cry, "I just saw Captain York take some people out. Is it too late?"

Nina went outside to check and found that more than half of the village's vehicles were gone. She had no idea what Nash was doing, and it couldn't have come at a worse time.

She was deeply worried about Arin's safety. Although the locals were familiar with the terrain and people, Arin's sudden disappearance was alarming. Everything had been fine until now; how could she just vanish?

They usually knew how to avoid danger unless she had fallen off a cliff. But Arin wouldn't usually venture into such risky areas.

Nina couldn't wait any longer. She decided, "Let's go search ourselves. We'll leave a message for the others to join us when they return. If we find your sister, all the better.ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .

"Nash and his troops must have a mission. We can't delay them," Nina thought to herself.

Nash had mentioned before leaving that he wouldn't be able to stay with her because of his duties. There was no way to hold them up.

"Alright," Sean said, wiping his tears.

Nina took Sean's hand and headed up the mountain, joining a group of villagers already searching for Arin There were about a dozen of them, but the mountain was vast, and even with so many people, it might take all day to search.

"We should split up and meet back here," Nina organized the group. "Alright."

They each took a different direction. The mountain paths were rugged, and they had to be cautious ofe venomous snakes and insects. Each pair would search together

Nina, paired with an experienced local, felt somewhat secure as he knew how to handle the wilderness.

They called out, "Arin!" periodically, but there was no response. Only the sounds of birds and insects filled the air.

"Miss Nina, there are two paths here. To save time, we should split up. If you're scared, we can stay together."

Nina, accustomed to the local life, wasn't too afraid of the wildlife. "It's okay, we can split up. This path looks shorter, so it shouldn't take long."

"Alright. If you run into trouble, shout. The mountain is quiet enough that I'll hear you."

"Got it."

Nina and her partner separated. Arin was a cheerful and kind-hearted girl. She was always willing to share her best things without hesitation. Despite her outwardly proud

demeanor, she had gone into the

mountains to hunt just to make Nina happy.

Nina was determined to find her and wouldn't return without doing so.

Her anxiety grew. Suddenly, she felt someone nearby.

"Who's there?"

Nina looked around quickly. Aside from an endless expanse of trees, she saw no one.
