Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 752

Thirty minutes later, the car pulled up outside a racetrack. Kruz hopped out, quickly rushing around to the passenger side to open the door, eagerly helping Flora out.

Inside the racetrack, a bunch of scruffy-looking youths were hanging out on the steps. These guys were the infamous troublemakers of Lone Island-bad news with powerful connections, and nobody wanted to mess with them. "Is Kruz ever gonna show?"

"He said he was picking up some big shot, but it's been two hours. Think he chickened out?"

"With his skills? Not even a top-tier big shot could save him." One of them sneered. "Call him again. I've had my eye on his engine for ages, and today I'm gonna win it-hey, who kicked me?" "Your grandpa did!"

Kruz had just kicked the guy in the back. "You think you can take my engine? Keep dreaming, kid."

Adrian stood up, towering over Kruz from his spot on the steps. "Thought you didn't have the guts to show up!"

The group's curiosity spiked as they all turned to Kruz. "Mr. Kruz, where's this big shot you brought? Where are they?"

Kruz lifted his head proudly. "Right here!"

He put his hand on Flora's shoulder. Following Kruz's gaze, the group saw Flora standing next to him. She wore a gray knitted sweater and a mask, her long, raven-like eyelashes peeking out.

She was pale and slim, standing there casually but impossible to ignore. Even with her face partially covered, her unique presence was captivating.

Adrian frowned. He had noticed Flora before and assumed she was Kruz's new girlfriend, wondering when Kruz had started dating.

"Kruz, you're saying... she's the big shot?"

Adrian looked Flora up and down, his brow furrowed. "Are you out of your mind?"

Kruz had been going on about how amazing this big shot was, talking about insane drifting skills and knocking out full-grown men with a single punch. They were all curious.

But none of them expected the big shot to be a young woman.

Could she even be twenty?

She looked so slender and delicate, definitely not the powerhouse Kruz had hyped up.

"You're the one who's nuts! You and

your whole family!" Kruz shot back with a sneer. "My Flora is incredible. None of you could take her on!"

The group was speechless.

Kruz wasn't known for bragging before. What happened to him in Austenberg? "Fine, we don't care how amazing your Flora is. Are we racing today or not?"

They weren't paying much attention to Flora, more focused on the race.

"Race? Of course, we're racing! If you lose, each of you owes me a top-grade engine!" "Mr. Kruz, you're quite confident."

The group sighed, exchanging looks of sympathy for Kruz's delusional confidence.

That was Kruz's thing-always talking big before a race, yet he had never won, nearly losing everything to them.

Feeling the sting of their

expressions, Kruz exclaimed, "Flora!

They don't believe in me! You have to help me show them what's what. With our combined strength, we can definitely make them eat dust!" © 2024 Nôv/el/Dram/a.Org.

Flora gave him a cool glance. "I know I'm strong, but you... are you?"

Kruz: "..."
