Chapter 275
Chapter 275
"I have more to talk with Abigail." Jenny was a stubborn person and refused to go to sleep.
Abigail looked at Jenny. "Please take the medicine and go to sleep, or they will blame me, and I dare
not come to visit you next time."
Jenny teased her. "I can't believe you know how to threaten me."
She smiled. "I don't. We just care about you and fervently hope that you can recover soon."
"Okay, then I'll do what you said," Jenny took her medicine.
Abigail and Liam watched aside and smiled.
Taylor looked at Abigail. "When we were abroad, you walked around the room to avoid taking your
medicine. From now on, let Abigail be your supervisor."
They all burst into laughter.
Jenny finished her medicine and argued, "Nonsense." This belongs to NôvelDrama.Org - ©.
It made them laugh again. Abigail looked at her and said, "Please go upstairs to sleep now."
"Can't we talk for another while?"
"Let's leave it to another day."
"Okay." Jenny sighed helplessly and then went upstairs.
"Watch your steps," Liam warned. He didn't follow her upstairs. He talked with his parents in the living
room. The sight of Abigail's back delighted him much.
"Liam, how's everything going with the company?" Mrs. Jones asked him.
"Well, everything is fine. No need to worry about it."
"Sure. What we care about now is your marriage!"
"Mom, stop nagging!"
"If you are tired of it, go and find your love."
"Sure, I will try my best!" He promised.
Hearing this, Taylor smiled. So did Liam. Then he played a game of chess with Robert.
Abigail came down the stairs when they finished the game.
"She is asleep!" She said.
"Thank you so much!" Taylor said.
She smiled. "That is what I should do. It's getting late. I'm going back!"
Taylor looked out the window. "Why don't you stay here tonight? We have many vacant rooms."
"Thank you. I'd better go back." She refused the invitation.
Taylor nodded and looked at Liam. "Liam, go and drive Abigail back."
"No, thank you. I'll take a taxi." She didn't want to trouble them.
"It's too late now. What if you come across some danger?" Liam said leisurely.
She considered his words seriously.
It did make some sense.
Liam led her out of the house.
In the car, she looked at him. "Did you scare me?"
"No," He turned to look at her. "Didn't you read the news a few days ago? In the middle of the night, a
woman went home from work by taxi and was raped."
