His Eagle Eyes on Me

Chapter 2953

Shelly nodded with a smile. "Yeah! I wanted to buy clothes for him, but I was worried that the ones I bought might not fit him. Besides, I found out that he has a lot of new clothes during my last visit." "Hahaha! Layla likes buying clothes for him, so you don't have to buy him any more clothes. He has more clothes than he needs. Just make sure you come over to see him more often." Ivy knew that Shelly was struggling financially and did not wish for her to spend unnecessarily.

"Yeah. You two should proceed with your shopping! My brother and I should get going now." Shelly smiled politely.

After leaving her address with the owner and confirming the time for delivery, Shelly left with her brother.

Robert walked over to the owner and took a picture of Shelly's address.

"Robert, why are you taking down Shelly's address?" Ivy asked.

"What if something happens, and we need it?" Robert said. "I think Shelly is nice and not a pretentious kind of woman. I like her."

"I think so, too. She is so approachable."

"It's a shame that Hayden doesn't want her," Robert said. "It would be nice to have her as our sister-in-law."

"All right, let's stay out of Hayden's personal life."

The two ordered a few more plants before heading to a different store to purchase the other items on the list Avery had provided them.

At three in the afternoon, they had afternoon tea before heading home.

Avery walked into the living room holding Aiden in her arms to check on the things Ivy and Robert had bought.

"Mom, we ran into Shelly today at

the florist's. She was there with her younger brother." Ivy handed the baby formula she had received from Shelly to Avery. "She bought this for Aiden."

Avery glanced at the formula curiously. "This is a trial package," she commented in confusion. "But why would she buy Aiden formula?"

"She said that she feels like buying Aiden whatever she sees, but because he has everything he needs now, she doesn't really know what else to buy for him," Ivy said.

"I suppose that's true. Aiden is reacting well to the formula we are feeding him now, though, so I'm worried he might have an allergic reaction if we switch brands," Avery said. "So this formula is going to waste?" Ivy asked regretfully, not wanting to dismiss Shelly's efforts.

"This is a trial package, so I don't

think it cost anything!" Avery recalled that stores would give out small packets of baby formula so that the

parents could buy the full package after ensuring that their children were not allergic to the brand.

"Oh!" Ivy was surprised. "Still, it's such a waste! If Shelly sees that we didn't feed Aiden the formula she bought, would she think that we dislike her? Maybe I can try drinking it." Ivy did not want to let anything go to waste and intended to drink it herself.

Avery was at a loss for words.Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

She understood that Ivy was being kind, but the formula for babies and adults tasted extremely different.

"Baby formula tastes horrible. It has

a fishy taste to it, and that's pretty much all it tastes like." Avery had tried it before and wanted to warn Ivy. "If you really don't want it to go to waste, you should give it to your brother!"

Robert gaped at Avery, and Ivy burst out laughing.

"Robert, do you want to try it? Why don't we each try a glass of this?" Ivy picked up the formula.

"Sure!" Robert was curious about its taste as well. "If it really tastes that bad, why would Aiden seem to enjoy his milk so much?"
