"Give her some time. Lane knows Bonnie inside out, and if Bonnie is willing, I have no objections,"
Haider responded. "If Myles could see Bonnie living a peaceful life, he would surely be happy too."
Evan nodded in agreement. "That's true. As long as Bonnie is willing, we should just offer our
blessings."
Haider replied, "Let's go."

The next morning, Yanis woke up ten minutes earlier than usual. After getting ready, Yanis looked at
Zane, who was still asleep, and softly called out, "Zane?"
Zane responded, reaching out his hand to pull Yanis towards him, bringing her onto the bed. "Why are
you up so early?"
"I have something to take care of outside. Aren't you going to the office today?"
Upon hearing Yanis' words, Zane opened his eyes and looked at her. "Where are you going? Why so
early? Should I go with you, or should I have Albi drive you?"
Yanis leaned up and kissed Zane on the chin. "I'll drive myself. I'll go directly to the store later."
"Do you want me to accompany you?"
"No need. It's just a small matter. Pick me up later in the evening, and we'll go to Duncan Residence
together," Yanis said softly.
Zane nodded. "Alright."
Yanis reached out and hugged Zane, then asked again, "Aren't you going to the office today?"
"What time is it now?"
"Seven o'clock."
Zane leaned down and kissed Yanis' forehead. "I'll get up then."
Yanis murmured in agreement and got up ahead of Zane. "I'll go change. I'll have breakfast outside
today. You can have breakfast at home before going to the office."
Zane responded, "Okay."
As Yanis walked towards the closet, she continued talking to Zane. "If you have any unavoidable social
engagements in the evening, let me know early so I can inform Bonnie."
"Alright."
With every sentence Yanis spoke, Zane patiently responded. When Yanis finished changing and came
out, she noticed Zane sitting on the edge of the bed.
"Why haven't you gone to freshen up? Albi will be here soon," Yanis said, walking towards him.
Zane opened his arms towards Yanis. "Give me a hug before you go."
Yanis looked at him for a few seconds before moving closer and allowing him to embrace her. "I have
to go now. See you in the afternoon."
Zane murmured in agreement but didn't let go of her.
"Zane?"
"Just a little longer," Zane said, tightening his hold on her.
Yanis didn't rush him and let him hold her until he released her on his own. Then she said, "Go freshen
up quickly."
Zane responded and watched Yanis leave before getting up and heading to the bathroom to freshen
up.
Yanis went downstairs and headed out the door directly.
Although the results from the hospital were supposed to be available at nine o'clock, Yanis had already
checked on her phone and found out that they were ready. However, she couldn't make sense of the
data displayed. So, she wanted to go early and ask Dr. Watson while he was still free.
On her way to the hospital, Yanis contacted Dr. Watson.
Dr. Watson was on the morning shift and had already arrived at the hospital by seven o'clock.
When he received Yanis's call, he had just finished organizing his things in the office. "Alright, come
over now. I'll meet you and bring the report. I'll be waiting in the office."
Yanis replied, "Okay, thank you, Dr. Watson."
After hanging up the phone, Yanis drove towards the hospital.
Since it wasn't yet time for work, there weren't many cars on the road. It took Yanis just over ten
minutes, less than twenty minutes, to reach the hospital from D-king Castle.
After parking the car, Yanis went straight up to find Dr. Watson.
"Dr. Watson."
Yanis entered the room and greeted Dr. Watson.
"Here you are. Have a seat. I'll have someone bring the report. They said it would take a little while,"
Dr. Watson said, looking at Yanis and pointing to the chair in front of him. "Sit down for now."
Yanis nodded and walked over, taking a seat. "I didn't expect you to be here so early. I planned to
check the results when I got to work and then call you. But it seems you're even more anxious than I
am."
Yanis smiled awkwardly and said, "I suddenly became very anxious last night. It's a kind of
restlessness that's hard to explain."
Listening to Yanis, Dr. Watson nodded. "I understand your feelings, but don't be too anxious about this
matter. We women are mysterious creatures, and our emotions and moods can affect it. So, stay calm
and things will gradually improve."
Yanis responded, "I'll try my best."
"Miss Thompson, since you both want a child, I suggest you choose a time for both you and Mr.
Lawrence to come for a comprehensive pre-conception examination. What do you think?" Dr. Watson
asked.
After listening to Dr. Watson's words, Yanis hesitated and said, "I think it might be my problem."
Dr. Watson smiled and said, "I'm not saying there's a problem with Mr. Lawrence. I'm just suggesting
that both of you have an examination to be on the safe side. Do you understand what I mean?"
"Should I discuss it with him when I get home?"
Dr. Watson said, "If you don't want Mr. Lawrence to come, it's fine. Let's first look at your situation. If
there's an issue on your end, there's no need for Mr. Lawrence to undergo any examination. My
suggestion earlier was just to ensure that both of you have a thorough check-up, nothing more."
Yanis nodded, "I understand."
Just as they were talking, there was a knock on the office door. "Dr. Watson, the report is here."
Dr. Watson looked up and said, "Thank you for going through the trouble of fetching it."
"It's no problem."
Dr. Watson took the report from the nurse and carefully examined it.
After reviewing all the data, he looked at Yanis and said, "Everything seems fine here. I'll prescribe
some medication for you. This time, let your menstrual cycle come naturally. We'll observe the situation
next month. If the situation persists, we'll explore other options for investigation. What do you think?"
Yanis nodded, "Okay, I'll follow your advice, Dr. Watson."
Dr. Watson smiled, "Thank you for trusting me."
Dr. Watson prescribed the medication for Yanis. "Keep a relaxed state of mind and emotions. Don't let
your emotions constantly affect you, and try not to dwell on unnecessary things, causing unnecessary
worries. Try to be happy every day. Who knows, you might recover without even needing the
medication."
Yanis responded, "Okay."
"This medication should be taken twice a day, morning and evening," Dr. Watson said, specifying the
dosage.
"Alright."
Yanis had just gotten up, planning to go to the payment counter to collect the medicine, when the door
to Dr. Watson's office was suddenly pushed open.
"Dr. Watson, something bad is happening! Miss Nancy in Room 08 is about to jump off the building!"
the nurse exclaimed with a nervous expression.
