Chapter 569
Chapter 569
“You also think I would be with someone like that?” Theresa looked at him and laughed. Don’t you know why Rose came back today? Jimmy has been working at Dick’s company recently, so he knew that I went to the White’s Group. He deliberately asked Rose to come back and say that. You believe whatever they say? You’re really kind of disappointing me like this.”
The more he did this, the more ridiculous she felt and the more she wanted to stay away from him.
She felt that she was a despised being in his eyes.
He said he would treat her well but never trusted her
Charlie also knew what Rose and Jimmy were up to.
However, he could never accept Theresa hanging out with Dick’s man for any reason. “Leave Rawlins and I’ll believe you. I’m not divorcing for you to be with such an old man.”
What the hell? It was okay if it was Eugene or Roderick. Why did she have to choose such an old man? Was she trying to humiliate him?
He simply couldn’t accept it!
Theresa did not want him to interfere with her affairs at all now. “Don’t worry. I’m moving out in a couple of days and I won’t tell him about your business. Speaking of which, I have never paid attention to your company’s affairs, let alone telling him about your business. You have nothing to worry about.”
Leticia was worried because she didn’t know where Theresa’s relationship with Charlie had reached.
However, Charlie must know that Theresa knew nothing about his business, let alone betray him.
Theresa said, “I’m going to bed.” ConTEent bel0ngs to Nôv(e)lD/rama(.)Org .
She walked away from him, about to go to bed. Charlie grabbed her hand and pulled her back. She was forced to lean against the wall, looking up at the man in front of her.
Charlie wrapped his arms around her waist and said in a low voice, “If you stay with Rawlins, I won’t get a divorce.” Theresa was shocked. “Why? Why do you want to meddle in my affairs when we’re getting divorced? That’s not fair!”
Charlie looked down at her. His face was very close to hers. “It’s okay if you take my money and leave with a young man. How can you do that with an old man?”
Theresa was helpless. “I said I didn’t want your money, but you insisted on giving me. If you regret it, I won’t take anything from you. I can leave with nothing”
Charlie frowned. “That man is so good?”
No!
Theresa was speechless. What did he mean by saying that man was so good?
Somehow, it sounded like she was already having an affair with Rawlins.
Theresa was so annoyed that she didn’t bother to explain. “I’m free to be with anyone after divorce. It’s none of your business even if I’m with an eighty-year-old man!”
Would she be able to divorce him if he kept going like this?
Charlie grunted. “Even if you leave me, you have to find someone better than me. Otherwise, I’ll feel humiliated.”
Theresa blinked and looked at Charlie. “Do you think that’s possible? To find someone better than you? You might as well just tell me to stay single for the rest of my life”
“You can stay single if you like.”
Theresa glared at him. “In your dreams.”
Although it was true that she had no intention of finding another man, she would not confide in him, let alone tell him what she was thinking.
Why did he have to worry about what she would do with the rest of her life when they were getting divorced?
Charlie said, “Anyway, stop seeing Rawlins.”
“I’ll stop seeing him when my work is done,” Theresa said. “I told you it’s just for work. I wouldn’t go so far as to throw myself at any man I meet. Charlie, would you be happy if I said you were having an affair with another woman?”
