Mr. Neal, Mrs. Neal’s Gone With The Money

Chapter 227

Chapter 227

Cynthia did not say much about the outcome.

However, thinking about Michelle’s previous words, she caressed the contract and slowly uttered, “She threatened me earlier, saying that once her father finds out, I won’t be able to stay here.”

Jonathan’s expression changed.

What was Michelle blabbering about?

“Her father has no right to control you, let alone interfere in our Yates family matters,” Jonathan replied clearly.

Cynthia’s gaze fell on him, not making it difficult for him. “I don’t want to see her in the planning department next time I’m here. If she still can’t perform the job after training, she will be dismissed.”

The Yates Group would not easily dismiss someone they hire. If the job performance were not up to standard, they would provide paid training for half a month or a month. If the performance did not improve after training, they would transfer the person to another position.

A dismissal was only considered a last resort, and Michelle had crossed Cynthia’s bottom line.

“Alright Jonathan completely sided with his beloved daughter.

After the conversation, Jonathan looked at Cynthia, who still seemed somewhat indifferent to him, and carefully said, “You should make the announcement later. It won’t be appropriate if I do it.”

Cynthia did not refuse. Then, they stood up and opened the door to the meeting room.

When everyone saw Cynthia and Jonathan walking toward them, they held their breaths, and the worried expressions in their eyes were evident.

They were afraid that Cynthia would be implicated because of this.

“Chairman Yates, this issue started because of me. Please don’t dismiss her. Blame me if you must,” the team manager spoke up first with a serious expression.

Jonathan was taken aback.

When did he say he was going to dismiss Cynthia?

Jonathan discreetly glanced at Cynthia, as composed as ever, but there was a hint of worry in his heart.

Would Cynthia think that he had dismissed many people in the past for Michelle’s sake? The mere thought of that made Jonathan uneasy.

If he were to be misunderstood like that, would Cynthia not become even more distant from him?!

“Chairman Yates didn’t dismiss me.” Cynthia spoke up, then her gaze landed on Michelle. “Pack up your things and report to the training department later.”

“What?” Michelle asked, confused.

In front of Jonathan, she always appeared obedient and sensible.

Cynthia did not beat around the bush with her. “Your current abilities are not sufficient for the editing role

in the planning department. You’ll be transferred to the training department, where you can choose a profession that interests you or that you are good at.”

“What does that mean?”

“Did I hear it wrong? Is Michelle really being transferred out of our planning department? Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

“Isn’t she Chairman Yates’s daughter?”

“What kind of background does this investment advisor have to make Chairman Yates transfer his daughter?”

Listening to the murmurs around her, Michelle wished she could find a crack to hide in. She never expected Jonathan to be so unsympathetic as she had been well–behaved and sensible.

Why was he treating her like this?

“No need. I’m probably really dumb and not suitable for such a big company like the Yates Group. I won’t waste the company’s resources anymore. I just resign.” Michelle began to pretend again, hoping to win Jonathan’s sympathy.

“Give her a resignation form,” Cynthia said, looking at the team manager.

The team manager was shocked.

How did the investment advisor know that she managed the resignation forms?
