Chapter 37
The crazed Bella was sent back to the Wyatt family.
When they saw how disheveled and pitiful Bella looked, the Wyatt sisters were shocked and quickly surrounded her.
“What happened, Bella? What’s wrong?”
“Bella, did something happen to you?” Amara frowned. “You’re an A–list actress. If the reporters get a photo of you looking like this, they’ll definitely spread rumors, and it’ll ruin the Wyatt family’s reputation.”
Bella’s gaze was dull, and she did not react to Amara’s reproach.
“We were… all wrong,” she mumbled. Content held by NôvelDrama.Org.
“Wrong? What did we do wrong?” The Wyatt sisters were confused.
“We shouldn’t have kicked Dustin out. We were all wrong…” Bella said in a daze.
“Quiet!” Amara’s face turned icy.
“Bella, have you lost your mind? How could you question my decision? We did nothing wrong!” she snapped.
“So many… So many died…” Bella suddenly cried in panic. “He killed them all. He’s too scary!”
“What on earth are you talking about, Bella?” The other sisters were worried.
One of them tried to grab her arm, but Bella suddenly screamed and ran around the place in panic and shouted, “We were all wrong!”
“Catch her and shut her up!” Amara said impatiently.
Their villa was already annoying enough with Elijah’s constant screaming whenever he woke up, and Bella just had to join the mix with all her crazy shouting.
Bella was soon restrained and injected with a tranquilizer. She fell asleep shortly after.
“Has Bella been too stressed? Is that why she’s like that?” Elisa asked.
“Maybe,” Amara said coolly, “But I’m sure that Dustin is involved in this.”
At the mention of Dustin’s name, the other Wyatt sisters burned with rage.
If it were not for him, the Wyatt family would not be in such chaos.
“Mom took Eli to Central Harbor for treatment. She told me before she left that she doesn’t want to see Dustin ever again.” Amara’s eyes glinted with icy disdain. “We’ve tolerated this dog for so long. From now on, I’ll focus on only one thing: making Dustin and the Langley family disappear!”
The Langley family were about to have dinner when Simone answered a call. Her face changed.
“What? How did it get so bad?” she asked in disbelief.
After hanging up, she looked concerned.
“What’s wrong, Simone?” Dustin asked,
“Trouble at the company.” Simone sighed. “For some reason, a few of our suppliers suddenly terminated the contract and stopped working with us. We don’t have enough materials now, and it’s bound to create problems with the Excelsior Group regarding our cooperation, since we won’t be able to hand in our products on time.”
Simone felt anxious.
When David handed the company over to her, she was ready to produce great results, but this sudden turn of events made her worried.
Dustin scowled.
This was unexpected, and it could only mean one thing: someone was behind this.
He did not even need to think about who was behind it. It had to be the Wyatt family.
‘Attacking the Langley family, are you?‘ he thought with a disdainful sneer.
“This won’t do. I have to negotiate with them!” Simone lost her appetite. She grabbed her handbag and prepared to leave.
“I’ll go with you.” Dustin ran after her.
While they were on their way, Simone called the suppliers, but they either refused to answer or humored her a bit before hanging up.
‘Finally, someone was willing to hear her out.
