Avery’s pov
A soft nibble came to my lips and I giggled, pushing his face away and throwing the covers over my head. He chuckles, joining me and just stares at me in awe.
“I still can’t believe you’re all mine,” he whispered, cupping my cheek and grazing my skin with his thumb. The feelings he invokes inside me are stronger than ever before. It’s like a sharp buzz of electricity running through every vein.
He draws close to kiss me but before his lips can meet mine we are interrupted by a sharp knock on the door. Xade looks irritated and pulls away, huffing as his eyes fogged. I stared at him in awe, unable to take my eyes off his.

When his eyes come back to normal, he sighs loudly and tells me Xaden is out the door needing to speak with the both of us. He slides off the bed, in all his naked glory, and struts to his walk in closet.

I took in a whiff and his eyes swirled with adoration. He leans in and kisses my forehead. “Don’t worry you’ll be surrounded by my scent every single day from now on,” he pulls away and winks. ” We’ll finish what we started later on.”
Another knock sounds at the door, this time sounding impatient and urgent. Xade hisses under his breath and storms to wretch it open. Xaden is standing there, eyes hard and body language calm. He was not fazed at all by Xade’s anger.
