Chapter 661 Lure the Enemy Away From His Base
When Colin received the call from Robert, Colin was standing in front of the floor-to-ceiling window and
drinking coffee.
Hearing Robert's business tone, Colin said with a smile, "Let's talk about it when you get back to the
company."
Robert said, "Okay, Mr. Farrell."
After hanging up the phone, Colin put his phone in his pocket and mumbled with a bigger smile, "Such
a crafty guy."
After more than an hour, Robert appeared in Colin's office.
Colin handed Robert a cup of coffee and asked, "What happened?"
Robert took the coffee, lowered his head, and took a sip. He replied, "I lost my girlfriend and my
brother-in-law."
Colin raised his eyebrows lightly and said, "What?"
Robert said truthfully, "Winston was caught."
Colin said, "Tell me in detail."
Robert said, "In order to control me, Brandon asked his men to kidnap Aniston. To ensure Aniston's
safety, I proposed to get Winston to be the hostage..."
Robert briefly explained what happened in the Farrells' Mansion.
Colin teased, "You are really Winston's great brother-in-law."
Robert said nothing and drank all the coffee in his cup in one breath.
Colin never put sugar in his coffee, so it was bitter.
After the coffee was taken in, the bitter taste would spread from the tip of the tongue to the throat.
Seeing Robert was silent, Colin asked with a smile, "You had a conflict with Aniston, didn't you?"
Robert put down the empty coffee cup and replied, "I... I kissed her."
Colin squinted and was not surprised. He said, "You're hasty."
Robert didn't refute, "You are right."
Robert thought, "I'm hasty."
"I was too worried that something would happen to her, so the secret hidden in my heart leaked out."
"And I was unable to control myself."
After a few minutes of silence in the office, Robert adjusted his emotions and said, "Brandon asked me
to find a way to convince you to sign a foreign trade contract."
Colin raised his eyebrows and asked, "Have you read the contract?"
Robert replied, "Yes."
Then Robert frowned and said, "I didn't find anything wrong just from the contract."
Robert had followed Colin for many years. Robert naturally had a great ability in his position.
Robert said there was nothing wrong with the contract, which meant that the contract was really without
problems or it was made flawlessly.
No matter what the situation was, it couldn't be despised.
After finishing words, Robert looked at Colin and asked, "What are we going to do?"
Colin replied, "Sign the foreign trade contract first."
Robert, "Don't we ask someone to investigate what's tricky about this project?"
Colin smiled suddenly and said, "Brandon must have sent people to keep an eye on us now. If I ask
someone to investigate the project, it shows that I don't trust you."
Robert got it quickly and nodded.
Colin said, "Danger can never be overcome without taking risks."
Three days later, Colin prevailed over all dissenting views and signed the foreign trade contract in a
high-level meeting.
When Colin came out of the conference room, Robert followed closely and said, "Several executives
seem very unhappy."
Colin sneered, "Don't care about them."
Robert said okay.
Colin said in a deep voice, "Do what you should do."
Robert said, "Yes."
After speaking, Colin walked back to his office.
Robert turned around and walked into the stairwell. Then he took out his mobile phone and called
Brandon.
The phone was answered, and Brandon's hoarse voice came, "Is it done?"
Robert replied, "It's done."
Brandon smiled and said, "All right. The money will be paid within five minutes, and we'll send Winston
home within an hour."
Robert thanked Brandon.
Brandon laughed and said in a low voice, "Robert, you are a good guy. It's a pity."
Brandon's words meant more than he said. Robert frowned slightly and wanted to ask more, but he
was worried that he would say something wrong.
After hanging up the phone, Robert sent a message to Aniston, that was, Winston would be home
within an hour.
After sending the message, Robert stepped out of the stairwell.
Then Robert went to the CEO's Office. Content © copyrighted by NôvelDrama.Org.
Knocking on the door and entering the room, Robert first nodded at Colin and then started to report on
his work.
Colin listened to Robert's report and asked with a smile, "Are you going to have dinner with the boss of
Rodosen Group tonight?"
Robert replied, "Yes."
Colin said, "Reserve Marriott."
Robert responded, "Got it. "
That night, Colin invited Rodosen Group's boss to have dinner at Marriott. On the way to Marriott, Colin
called Faye to tell her where he would go.
Faye said, "Drink less."
Colin chuckled, "OK, I'll tell them that my wife is preparing for pregnancy and I'm not allowed to drink
too much."
Faye smiled and said, "Stop it."
Colin replied with a smile, "I must try my best to have a baby. I won't let Abbot have a baby earlier than
me."
Faye was speechless.
Colin chatted with Faye and hung up the phone. After a few minutes, Robert frowned and said, "Mr.
Farrell, there seems to be a car following us."
