Chapter 1895
Chapter 1895
Yulia was born with a silver spoon. Her family spoiled her ever since she was a child and gave her everything she desired, so she had never experienced not being able to put her hands on something or someone that she longed for.
Hence, she couldn’t help but feel anxious and upset. She wasn’t able to swallow the fact that she wasn’t able to get what she wanted.
If Cindy and Yulia were to stand side by side, a normal person would know who they would want to go for.
Yulia’d feel better if Cindy looked better. If that was the case, she wouldn’t mind getting rejected, but no matter how she looked, she just couldn’t find anything on Cindy that was better than her.
Still, someone like Cindy managed to get Ian wrapped all around her finger, not allowing Yulia to have any opportunities to have him at all.
Since the two of them weren’t married, it’d make sense for any of them to leave if they found someone better, so Yulia couldn’t understand why Ian remained fiercely loyal to Cindy.
Because of that, Yulia felt her heart clogging up, and she really needed a chance to break out of this stalemate. She leaned back in her seat. Although she had a photoshoot later on, she wasn’t in a good mood and had lost her motivation to work.
Besides, she knew that she would surely get grumpy on set. Although she wouldn’t restrain herself from getting mad at those ignorant celebrities. Still, she had been revealed to have a terrible working
attitude, so she had been scolded over and over for it.
That was why Yulia didn’t want to simply work with any celebrities any longer.
Right then, she took a bottle of water out from the minibar next to her before opening it and chugging half a bottle of water down. Despite that, it wasn’t enough to extinguish the raging fire burning within her.
It was Yulia’s first time experiencing such failure since she started working, and it was driving her nuts.
After going back to her seat near the office desk, she leaned back onto the chair before crossing her legs and staring at the landscape outside the window.
What’s with this trashy weather? Don’t tell me it’s going to rain?
The air pressure was low as if a thunderstorm was coming, just like her emotions threatening to explode soon despite her attempts to keep them hidden.
Yulia understood her temper well and knew that she wouldn’t be able to put up with this any longer. She wasn’t able to release her anger on Ian and Cindy after getting rejected by them, so she would surely vent her anger on someone innocent after this.
I wonder who that unlucky person is going to be. Yulia pondered for a moment before she closed her eyes.
She couldn’t help but wonder when everything became a mess, when her life used to be pretty good.
Meanwhile, Aurora was having dinner at Ian and Cindy’s place. However, the atmosphere at the dining table was quiet and depressing. By then, Cindy had already found out that Yulia was trying to share some of her resources with Aurora through Hannah. To be completely honest, the offer was definitely beneficial to them, as it was the best of the bargain. This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.
With these resources, Aurora would be able to increase her status in the entertainment field and even rebuild her reputation if she worked hard enough. It was good that Aurora would be able to avoid unnecessary twists and turns with Yulia’s support.
Still, none of them felt good accepting the offer as it came from Yulia. Nevertheless, none of them could be truthful about taking the resources despite not having a good feeling about it, as they would probably be labeled as hypocrites or drama queens.
At least, Ian and Aurora had this trail of thought. Throughout the entire meal, none of them looked like they were in good condition. After the meal, Aurora got Cindy to go out to take a walk with her.
She didn’t invite Ian along, and Ian didn’t ask to join as well. Right then, Cindy glanced at Aurora before she caught on to what Aurora was trying to do and nodded. “Sure.”
Without changing into another outfit, Cindy went outside with Aurora.
When the two of them got into the elevator, Aurora spoke up. “To be honest, I truly don’t think I’ll be able to manage all of these backers. Despite that, Ms. Hannah had really made herself clear because she was probably afraid that I might feel uncomfortable and explained that Yulia gave me these resources out of her respect for her.”
