No Bounds for the CEO’s Spoiling

Qin Muxuan nibbled her fingertip edgily, hesitating.

Not receiving her answer, Yin Youting relented. ‘Well, I shouldn’t push her.’

“If you’re not available, it’ll be okay.” He offered an excuse as a gentleman.

The woman made up her mind, “I’ll be there. When will we meet?”

Yin Youting beamed, revealing a row of white teeth. His enticing eyes narrowed, “I’ll pick you up when you finish shooting.”

They nattered on about Qin Xin for a while. Qin Muxuan didn’t hang up the phone until the director called her.

However, she was distracted when she acted because her mind was occupied with thoughts that she would meet Yin Youting’s father. Other actors and actress grumbled.

Jiang Jiayi peaved, glaring at Qin Muxuan. He spat out angry words, “Get your shit together, Qin Xuan. Take a twenty-minute break!”

Qin Xuan apologized to her colleagues who had reshot the scene several times because of her. She then fled into the dressing room. Yin Youting’s words had stolen her key to true calm.

Qin Xiaobai, who was waiting for his turn, snuck in. He gingerly unpacked the wrapper of a lollipop and offered it to Qin Muxuan, “Xuanxuan, don’t be angry. Those armchair quarterbacks online don’t even know you! Just ignore them. You’re perfect!”

Holding his head high, he said proudly. The boy’s expression amused the woman.

‘He might think I’m distracted by those comments.’ Thinking that, Qin Muxuan felt nothing was more significant than this moment.

She came back for him.

‘I won’t be afraid as long as he’s with me.’

Qin Muxuan rubbed her face violently and took the candy. She thrusted it into the kid’s mouth out of the blue, grinning, “Enjoy it. There’s only one lollipop. You don’t have to share with me.”

Stunning, Qin Xiaobai covered his mouth with hands. He stared at her with brows knitted. The boy then glanced at the stick stretching out from his teeth.

He slowly licked the candy with his tongue, tilting his head, “Don’t be upset.”

“I believe you.” Recalling those remarks online, Qin Xiaobai became indignant. His cheeks seemed to be on fire because of wrath, “They know nothing! How could they curse you?”

Outrage even deprived him of the pleasure to have sweetmeat.

Qin Xiaobai became more upset than Qin Muxuan.

The woman’s eyes curved into a crescent shape. She felt touched.

“I’m not angry.” She stroked his head, gazing at a tree far away, “It’s not worth.”

“But thank you for consoling me. I feel much better.” Beaming, she held him in her arms and rubbed his chubby face. “God, you’re so adorable!”

Glaring at her, Qin Xiaobai struggled to get rid of her. He combed his hair with fingers.

Noticing the wrath in his eyes vanished, Qin Muxuan laughed. “You should behave like a kid. Leave those adult things behind. I’ll deal with them.”

“I’ll be in fifth grade! I’m a man.” Scowling, the boy retorted.

“All right, you’re a man.”

He was dissatisfied with her runaround, but couldn’t refute her. Therefore, he rushed towards the door and turned back. “Get ready soon, or Mr. Zhang will scold you.”

Throwing out his words, he left without looking back. The kid was acting haughty.

Qin Muxuan was amused.

‘Alas, he’s indeed a childish boy.’

Gu Zijin didn’t leave the company until he was off duty. He then drove to the filming site.

As soon as his car entered the parking lot, he saw a familiar figure. Before Gu Zijin could stop the woman, a jet-black Maybach pulled over before her.

Yin Youting stepped out of the car and opened the door for Qin Muxuan. Resting his hand on the roof, he prevented the woman from hitting it. After that, the man made a gesture like a gentleman, “Please.”

A company’s chairman behaved like a doorman subserviently.

“God!” Qin Muxuan laughed, “You and Xiaobai amuse me today.”

“It’s my pleasure to divert you.” With a tender smile, Yin Youting didn’t return to the driver’s seat until Qin Muxuan buckled up. He then drove away.

Frowning, Gu Zijin fixed his eyes on the car before him. He then stepped on the gas to follow the Maybach.

Stalking them, Gu Zijin watched them enter a VIP room in a downtown hospital with a thermos flask in hand. They were talking and laughing. Seeing that, Gu Zijin scowled because of jealousy.

He stopped a nurse and came to realized that it was Yin Tiancheng’s ward. The man shot a grim look at the room from which he heard joyful laughing even the door was closed. Gu Zijin then left and went upstairs.

As he stepped in a ward which was in the same position on the upper floor, he regretted.

Yan Yuxiao cautiously took care of Gu Heng in the ward and amused him. She grinned more delightedly when she saw Gu Zijin.

“Zijin.”

“You’re late. Yuxiao has been waiting for you.” Gu Heng took a peeled orange from Yan Yuxiao. After breaking it in half, he swallowed down a part and handed the other half over to his son.

Gu Zijin casted the woman a frozen look. He then took it, but placed it on a plate. “I was impeded by heavy traffic.”

He replied perfunctorily.

Yan Yuxiao was petrified because of Gu Zijin’s indifference. However, she sat still on the chair cheekily, “I’m here for Uncle Gu, not for Zijin.”

“All right. I misunderstood.” Gu Heng chuckled without contradicting her, “I’m delighted to have a daughter.”

“If you don’t mind me bothering you, I will accompany you every day.”

“Well, thank you.”

The harmonious atmosphere between the two annoyed Gu Zijin. He opened his mouth drily, “You can leave now. We have something important to discuss.”

‘He doesn’t bother to pronounce my name.’

Yan Youxiao could hardly maintain her smile. Suppressing her outrage, she wiped her hands and rose from the chair with her bag in hand.

“I’ll visit you tomorrow, Uncle Gu.”

As she left, Gu Heng’s smile faded away. “What happened? Why are you in such a rush?”

After closing the door, Gu Zijin sat on a chair, “I hope you could stay out of my marriage.”

“Why?”

“The Yan family’s capital chain ruptured not long ago. Although I haven’t figured out who helped them, the Yan family is rotten inside and will perish at the end.” Gu Zijin showed his father the information in his phone while speaking.

“The Yan family will fall apart sooner or later if they don’t have a rabbi in business.”

Gu Heng raised his brow but didn’t intend to take the phone. The middle-aged man leant against his bed in a relaxed posture, “Spit out your plan.”

Gu Zijin put away his phone, “I don’t have one.”

‘I won’t help or destroy them for the friendship between our two families.’

Nodding, Gu Heng was impassive, “If you can talk your grandma out of it, I won’t intrude on your marriage.”

The young man pursed his lips. After a while, he nodded.

Father and son were like boss and his subordinate. However, the ward underneath was different. Joy overflowed in the room.

“I didn’t expect that you would be adept at chess. You’re so young.” Yin Tiancheng exclaimed after losing the game again.

“I dare not to teach fish to swim. When I was a child, I stayed with the elders. That’s why I imbibe some knowledge of chess.” Qin Muxuan set the chessboard, “I’m an amateur, while you’re a professional.”

“Well, thanks for cheering me up.” Yin Tiancheng burst out a gale of laughter because of her fawning words, “Let’s play another round.”

“Dad, it’s late. Xuan should go home.” Yin Youting who was cast aside interrupted them when noticing they would spend another hour playing chess. ‘God! They become chess geeks.’

“She came here to visit you without having dinner. She must be starving.”

Yin Tiancheng cast a dumbfounded look to Qin Muxuan who had accompanied him for two hours. He then glared at his son, grumbling, “Why didn’t you say so?”

“You kept badgered her into playing chess with you. I didn’t have a chance to cut in.”

“All right. That’s my fault. Stop nagging.” The middle-aged man turned to Qin Muxuan and took over a pawn in her hand, “Grab some food with Youting. You must be hungry.”

The woman tucked loosened hair behind her ear, grinning. “I had some food after work. I’m not hungry now.”

“Well.” Yin Tiancheng chuckled, “I’ve been sitting here for a whole day. My back hurts. I should take a walk to soothed the ache of my back.”

Yin Youting was tired of their courtesies. He directly held Qin Muxuan’s hand and walked away, “I’ll visit you tomorrow after work.”

“Will Qin Xuan come?”

Before Qin Muxuan could respond, Yin Youting replied, “No. She has to work.”

“Okay. Then, you don’t have to come.”

“Fine.”

The ward was again shrouded by silence. Yin Tiancheng’s smile faded away after they strode out of the room. He was not in the mood to clean the chess board, but rose to his feet and looked down through a window.

“I miss Xin.” Shaking her head, the woman rubbed her brow.

She was exhausted in these two hours.

‘It’s difficult to play chess with a senior. I can’t lose or surpass him too much. Besides, I even can’t let he win easily. God!’

Qin Muxuan exhaled a long breath, “Why didn’t you tell me Uncle Yin like playing chess?”

Yin Youting hit the button with a smile, “My dad has too many hobbies.”

The woman squinted at him. She turned around her neck suspiciously.

“Tired?” Yin Youting stretched his hand to massage her neck.

Qin Muxuan dodged subconsciously. However, his warm and large hand pinched her neck. She couldn’t avoid him.

The woman brushed his hand away. She kneaded her neck several times by herself and stopped, “Nope. Just do some stretch.”

Yin Youting didn’t believe her words. He then kept that in his mind.

At the same time, the lift arrived.

“Wait for me at the entrance. I’ll go get the car.”

“Okay.”

Qin Muxuan stepped out of the lift. Her smile ebbed away. She then sighed.

‘Well, it’s tough to marry to a rich family.’

‘His father taught me a lesson as I came visit him, though I’m Youting’s fake girlfriend.’

She strode out while stretching her neck.

A large hand stopped her out of the blue.

“You come here to visit his parent, right?”
