No Bounds for the CEO’s Spoiling

Chapter 323: Leaving the Show because of Injury (I)

Gazing at her for a while, Gu Zijin noticed she had always been on the alert. “Trust me once agian.” He smiled bitterly.

Qin Muxuan looked away. She didn’t say anything.

Her behavior distressed him.

He was an eloquent businessman, but words failed him at this moment.

Gu Zijin had been on cloud nine when he came to realize that his daughter was alive, but the ecstasy dissipated now. The man only felt regretful and sorrowful.

He leant against the wall, gazing at her. “Qin Muxuan.” Gu Zijin suddenly called her.

The woman didn’t turn around. She faced outwards with a weird gesture.

“Qin Muxuan.” He opened his mouth again, “Is there any chance for us to get together?”

“No, there isn’t.” After Qin Muxuan said that, tears again welled up in her eyes.

Looking up at the sky, she quickly blinked her eyes in order to hold back her tears.

“I know…”

Gu Zijin moistened his dry lips. He straightened up and walked over to hug her.

The man buried his head on her shoulder with back arching. Qin Muxuan didn’t move or reject him. Her eyelids drooped.

Starting at the top of his head, the woman felt complexed. A mixed feeling overwhelmed her. She didn’t understand what to do next.

At the end, Gu Zijin let go of her.

“Go back to the wedding party.” He regained composure, but his voice turned deary.

Setting her lips in a grim line, Qin Muxuan gave the coat back to him and strode away.

She looked determinate, which made Gu Zijin burst out laughing. However, everyone could tell he was downcast.

‘Well, that’s good.’

He withdrew his eyes. Then, the man lit a cigarette. Smoke slowly ascended in the air and shrouded Gu Zijin. His expression gradually became blurred.

As Qin Muxuan stepped into the hall, Yin Youting approached her. He led the absent-minded woman to a corner, asking worriedly, “What did he say?”

The woman grabbed a glass of champagne from a waiter. After gulping it down, she took another one.

“Don’t drink in such a hurry. You’re be drunk.” Scowling, the man stopped her.

Qin Muxuan took a sip obediently, “He knows Xin’s his daughter.”

Yin Youting became mute. He drank his wine down.

“Fortunately, he promised me not to tell Xin.” Qin Muxuan toasted Yin Youting with a low smirk, “That’s the best news I’ve heard today.”

Although she was smile, it seemed that she was crying.

Yin Youting replaced her champagne with a glass of orange juice, “There’s no one here. You don’t have to force a smile.”

The woman simpered, “I’m delighted.”

“From now on, we are strangers. How can I not be delighted?”

Yin Youting looked straight into her eyes. His heart was pounding. It was not the right time to be cheerful, but he couldn’t control himself.

At this moment, Jian Xi walked over with Qin Xin in her arms. “Qin Xuan, take Xin back!”

Jian Xi complained as she saw Qin Muxuan, “This kitty’s so annoying! She’s a picky eater. Besides, she asked me to tell stories and sing songs before going to bed! I fell I’m aging.”

“I’m not annoying!” The girl argued, “Your stories are out of fashion! In addition, you’re a tone-deaf singer! God! It seemed like a duck was quacking when I was about to fall asleep.”

“You are a duck, not me!”

They were like birds chirping, which warmed Qin Muxuan’s heart. A little but genuine smile lifted a corner of her mouth.

‘I have my daughter and friends beside me. what a lovely day!’

It was halfway through the party. Xiao Heng, who was tipsy, came to Qin Muxuan with a bottle of orange juice in hand.

“Sorry for letting you get injured again.” He tried to hold her hand, but she dodged.

“It’s not your fault. I should have been more cautious.”

The horse farm explained that the horse was stimulated by the sharp smell of pigment from her.

It was apparent a pretext, but Qin Muxuan was reluctant to call Gu Zijin, the owner of the farm, to account. She should stay away from him.

Xiao Heng was startled. He drooped his head as if he was a puppy who did wrong thing. The young man apologized again.

Feng Yi, who followed him here, helped Xiao Heng straighten up. Xiao Heng then inched over, peering at her with watery eyes. It seemed that he would follow her till she forgave him.

“He’s drunk. I’ll take him to bed.” Feng Yi directly wrapped his hands around Xiao Heng’s waist.

It seemed that Xiao Heng was activated. He stopped bowing to Qin Muxuan like an idiot but approached Feng Xi. He dragged Feng Xi’s ear and shouted, “I’m not getting a buzz. I know you’re Feng Yi!”Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Feng Yi pried Xiao Heng’s hand open with brows knitted, trying to take Xiao Heng away. However, Xiao Heng didn’t move.

“Qin Xuan, I will have your back!” Xiao Heng promised, but he waddled. If Feng Yi loosened his grip, Xiao Heng would collapse onto the foor.

“All right.” Qin Muxuan was amused, “Thank you, boss.”

The wedding party came to a successful end. It got nothing but raves, but SHE’s owner benefited the most.

It was disseminated that he modified the wedding dress, so SHE had become the most acclaimed store in the small town. Wedding gowns were sold out. People came here to buy or book dresses. They even queued up to ask him plan their wedding.

After the owner knew Qin Muxuan would be detached from the show, he gave her an Inner Mongolian traditional wedding gown.

“Come on. Your wedding dress was modified by me. This is a compensation.”

Qin Muxuan couldn’t take her eyes off of the crimson traditional gown. Her eyes sparkled, but she refused with a smile, “Thank you, but I don’t need one.”
