No Bounds for the CEO’s Spoiling

Chapter 326: The Biggest Embarrassment (II)

“Zhang Man, do you remember you’re Cheng Xiaoxiao’s attorney?” Qin Muxuan’s eyes bulged. She breathed heavily in fury. “She ranks second in the Joint Examination in our country. She has a bright future. Why do you force her to die?”

“She didn’t do anything wrong. Why do you guys ask her to apologize? Let your conscience guide you, please!”

“Cheng Xiaoxiao slashed her wrist. If I didn’t be there in time, she would have died! Such a young lady!” She became more distraught. The teacher stepped on a stone out of the blue. She slipped and hit a railing. After that, she fell into the lake.

“Help! I can’t… swim!”

The turbid water engulfed Qin Muxuan. She thrashed around in it, but inhaled some water. The more violently she floundered, the quicker she sank.

Qiu Yu, who haven’t gathered her wits together after Qin Muxuan had slapped her, finally reacted and continued acting.

Staring at the woman in water, she opened her mouth. However, her eyes flickered.

Qin Muxuan’s voice became weaker. The water was over her eyes.

“Someone’s fallen into the lake! Help!” Qiu Yu galloped in a hurry.

“Cut! It’s perfect.” The director smiled satisfactorily, “Pull her up!”

“Qin Xuan, your performance is amazing! Especially when you were drowning, you were desperate and looked forward to being saved. It seemed that you were dying!”

Qin Muxuan’s eyelashes trembled.

‘I just learn from my experience.’

“Well, it seems that acting classes work.” She laughed and wrapped with a towel given by her assistant.

“You’ve made great progress.”This content belongs to Nô/velDra/ma.Org .

The director complimented her. She then left for changing her wet clothes.

As she passed Qiu Yu, Qin Muxuan turned to Lin Jia, “I prefer to strike back directly. Actions speak louder than words.”

Her words confounded Lin Jia.

However, Qiu Yu shivered after hearing that.

‘She revenged on me because I had bumped her over the edge!’

“Sorry. I slapped on your face. Ms. Qiu, you should get some ice. I remember that you have to work later. You can’t be filmed with a swollen face, right?” Qin Muxuan apologized hypocritically and left with her man.

Gritting her teeth, Qiu Yu had an impulse to tear up Qin Muxuan’s face. However, there was an unwritten rule in the industry. When an actor or actress got injured when shooting, he/she couldn’t trouble the other party after work.

“Ms. Qiu, this is for you.” Noticing she was outraged, Qiu Yu’s assistant dared not to nag. She gave the actress an ice pack and turned on a fan to cool Qiu Yu down.

Qiu Yu snatched the pack and reprimanded her assistant. “Are you insane? It’s October now. Why did you turn on the fan? I might catch a chill!”

Qiu Yu twisted the young woman’s waist, scolding, “I pay you cash for taking care of me, not for sabotaging me!”

Her nails were sharp, which hurt the assistant who responded with a muffled grunt of pain. However, the young woman zipped her lips immediately because she was afraid to irritate Qiu Yu again.

**

Qin Muxuan couldn’t drink wine or have spicy food because of injury, so she didn’t hold a wrap party when she finished her last scene. The woman bought everyone in the crew cake and bubble tea.

After finishing her part in the Teen, Qin Muxuan didn’t have a shooting schedule. She was forced to stay at home by Jian Xi and Yin Youting.

However, a person would become dull when she had nothing to do.

Her studio was on track. Qin Muxuan didn’t have to stay in the office. She was an actress, which meant there were plenty of places she couldn’t go to.

Except for the acting class, she attended a body building class. However, she still had a ton of spare time.

After lunch, Qin Xin was occupied by her homework. Jian Xi went out with Mu Ming. After browsing through Weibo and jokes for half an hour, Qin Muxuan felt she was bored to death.

Lying on the sofa, the woman let out a long sigh.

Staring at her daughter who immersed herself in assignments, Qin Muxuan groaned heavily. She rolled over, lying on her stomach on the arm of the sofa next to the kid.

“Xin.” The woman slightly poked the girl with her finger.

Qin Xin didn’t move an inch.

After a few rounds of poking, the child finally responded.

She didn’t bother to raise her head. “What?” The girl kept writing.

“Mommy’s so bored. We can have a chitchat.” Every time when Qin Muxuan begged Qin Xin, she would remind the kid that she was her mother. That meant a child should listen to and respect a senior.

“I don’t have time.” Qin Xin squinted at the woman, pouting. She asked seriously, “Have you finished your assignment? You will forget how to paint if you cast your pencil aside.”

“I’ve painted a hundred pieces a few weeks ago. I feel sick about that.” While speaking, Qin Muxuan suddenly remembered something.

‘I haven’t started the figure painting for Youting!’

She felt guilty out of the blue.

Rubbing her nose, the woman changed the subject, “Well, life’s tedious recently. I have nothing to do but take classes. My limbs are weak as water. Xin, could you find me a job?”

Qin Xin dropped her pen, staring at her mother, “Xuanxuan, look at my assignments.” The girl bellowed inwardly, “If you keep talking, I will beat you!”

After glancing at piles of notebooks next to her, Qin Muxuan looked away. Words failed her.

‘It’s tough to learn Chinese for an ABC who grew up in M country.’

“If you feel bored, go and find Xiaobai.” Qin Xin buried herself in those elusive Chinese characters.

Qin Muxuan’s eyes sparkled. The girl’s words enlightened her.
