Obsessive CEO’s Sinful Wife

Chapter 307

Chapter 307

Terry pulled out a crumpled and yellowed piece of paper from his pocket. The words “I’m sorry, I’m leaving.” were written on the paper.

Lisa had left this behind back then. He had been carrying it with him all these years. Please check at N/ôvel(D)rama.Org.

Terry had had several episodes of anger where he had crumpled the paper into a ball and thrown it in the trash, but after that, he would rummage through the trash can and retrieve it again.

The note Lisa had left behind was like a thorn in his heart. He could not remove the thorn and was even more reluctant to pull it out

The note was the only thing she had left behind for him. If he lost this, he would have nothing left of her.

‘But, it’s all right now… He had finally found her!

“Lisa Lisa…” Terry murmured her name repeatedly and pressed a kiss on the piece of paper in his hand. He seemed to have missed her dearly

Lisa followed Serenity into Jackson’s car and said to the two, “Thank you.”

Jackson replied indifferently, “I’ll send you home. Where do you live?”

Lisa hurriedly gave her address to Jackson. Serenity was still uneasy and asked, “Hey, Lisa, Terry really didn’t do anything to you?”

“Well, he made me sit in a chair and watch him for three hours,” Lisa said. “I wanted to call you, but he had my phone, so.”

Speaking of which, Lisa suddenly remembered that Terry still had her phone! She had her work documents saved on her phone.

Lisa had a headache thinking about it. ‘Should 1 get my phone back from Terry? Should I just treat it as a lost phone?‘ She struggled with the tough decisions to make.

What’s wrong?” Serenity asked.

I’m fine.” Lisa shook her head and looked at Jackson in the driver’s seat. She was actually being given a ride in Jacksons’s car which was pretty unbelievable!

Lisa kure that Jackson had only come to her rescue for Serenity’s sake. “I made you worried.” She looked at her friend with an apologetic face.

“As Jorig as you’re line,” Serenity said.

The car drove to Lisa’s neighborhood. When they arrived, Lisa got out of the car and entered her house.

Serenity took the initiative and moved to the passenger seat in front. She looked at Jackson with gratitude, “Thanks for the help today.”

Jackson turned lais head to Serenity, his gaze fixed on hers. The moonlight streamed through the car window, lighting up her

calm face.

Earlier, Serenity had been on edge with anxiety because of Lisa’s matter. She would do everything for Lisa, Including discarding the last shred of remaining dignity she had. She could disregard everything just to help Lisa

Was it because… Was Lisa her only salvation?

“If I was in danger one day, would you drop to your knees and save me?” Jackson asked in a murmur.

His croaky voice rang in her ears, causing her to tremble slightly.

Serenity looked straight into his dark eyes. For a moment, she almost could not resist saying yes.

However, she managed to stop herself before blurting out an answer. What was wrong with her? Besides, how could someone like Jackson ever get into trouble?
