Aaron had already reddened his eyes and ran to the brink of the cliff with all his power. With all his
might, he reached out his hand and grasped the arm of the person who plunged down.
“Kathy!” Aaron tumbled to the brink of the cliff, coated in dust, and his handsome face was covered in a
coating of fear. He stopped Kathy.
No one anticipated that Kathy would suddenly make such a foolish decision. When she did that,
everyone did not respond to halt it.
Only Aaron came over at the time of her death and held her arm firmly, stopping the tragedy from
happening.
Beth was shocked because she didn't realize that Kathy truly intended to die this time, and her acting
was so much better than before.
Kathy was pulled by Aaron with one hand, her frail body dangling on the brink of the steep cliff, and the
tumultuous water was beneath her feet.
She feared to die, but if she didn't do that, she would be nothing in Aaron's heart.
She knew him better than anybody, and he wouldn't allow her to have an accident.
So, she jumped down bravely, only to get him back to her.
Only in this way could she stand alongside him again.
Otherwise, if he believed in Beth's claims, she would lose everything because he would uncover the
nasty things she did previously.
She had to take the risk this time.
“Aaron... I'm sorry, I shouldn't lie to you. I hurt you. Just let me go...”
“I am willing to seek your mercy through death.”
“Let me go, Aaron... Please.”
Kathy shivered with dread, and her voice was full of uncontrolled fear and sobbing.
But at this moment, she couldn’t stop acting.
Aaron saved her, so she would never fall and be devoured by sharks.
She had won.
“Kathy!” Aaron grabbed her tightly, not willing to let go.
“Don't say anything foolish. It's my fault. I abandoned you, and I was fooled by that nasty woman. I'll
pull you up. You can't die.”
“I have divorced her. You can’t be replaced by anyone in my heart. I forgive you. Don't let go.”
Aaron's eyes grew darker and more crimson, “You must not let go.”
While consoling Kathy, Aaron frantically shouted at the men behind him.
“What are you waiting for? Come and help me now!”
The bodyguards rushed up and even knocked down Beth. She fell to the ground with her hand hitting
the hard rock, and the pain shattered her so much that she could not breathe.
However, it was Aaron who made her even sadder.
She had been looking forward to meeting Aaron for so many years.
After he saw Kathy being hauled up intact, he was terrified and hugged Kathy in his arms and clutched
her firmly, as if the person in his arms was his beloved one. His expression was full of sorrow and
regret.
They embraced each other like there was no one else besides them.
Beth was obviously beneath the sky with them, but she felt in a daze that she had been abandoned into
another world.
Wasn't she already divorced? Why did her heart ache so badly when she saw Aaron hugging Kathy? It
hurt hundreds of times more than her palm injury.
She really underestimated Kathy.
In order to rebuild her image, she was willing to jump into the sea in front of Aaron to commit suicide.
Was this also part of Kathy's move?
Kathy was so vicious that she dared to jump off the cliff, and Beth could only clap for her.
“Aaron!” Kathy flung herself into his arms, like a gossamer.
“Don't hate me, okay? I truly like you, and I fear losing you... That’s why I would do such an unexpected
decision.”
“Please don't hate me...”
Aaron embraced her. His voice was unprecedentedly kind and loving, at least it was something Beth
had never owned or heard.
He comforted her gently. “It's all over. Don’t be scared, Kathy. It's all over.”
“I don't care anymore. No matter what you become, you are my Kathy.”
Kathy let out a few more tears.
Beth stared at her with a smirk at the corner of her lips.
Not bad.
Kathy was very excellent at this.
Finally, Aaron comforted the terrified Kathy, and the fire flared anew on Beth.
When Aaron looked at Beth, the compassion in his gaze hardened into piercing ice.
“I promised you that I won't allow anybody to bully you. Beth can't do it either. She dares to use Mrs.
Johnson to compel you to jump off the cliff. I will let her pay immediately!”
Kathy nearly couldn't help to laugh.
She even wanted to applaud.
Hurry up! Settle Beth!
It was even better to toss Beth down and feed the sharks!
In this way, she didn't have to be so scared.
Kathy thought excitedly and couldn't help but rub her hands gleefully.
Aaron radiated a horrible vibe and went to Beth step by step.
In a blink of an eye, a huge shadow was covered.
Beth lifted her pale and bloodless face, and the blood soaked from the palm of her hand stained the
rock into red color.
The pain was tremendous, yet she gently curved her lips.
“Aaron, what price do you intend to make me pay?”
Her voice was raspy and inaudible, like a whimper of wind, inexplicably tragic.
Aaron stared down at her, his eyes ice cold and unfeeling, and his tone was piercing like a razor.
“Beth, I can't let you hurt Kathy again.”
“Are you crazy? Who is being hurt? Can you use your brain? Is whatever she said true? Since you
think that I want to murder her and compel her to jump into the sea. Why don't you call the police?”
“Let the police investigate how my mom was hung here!”
Beth was seated on the ground, clearly inferior, but she was like a proud queen at this moment, and
her arrogance couldn't be bent.
Then she looked at Kathy, whose expression had turned contemptuously.
You couldn't laugh now, could you?
Unexpectedly, Aaron hissed, “Call the police? Does the police need to investigate such a trivial
matter?”
“Don't you believe me?” Aaron gently leaned down, and his black eyes blasted forth a beam of frigid
light, like a tiny blade gleaming with icy light.
It was like a knife scratching on Beth's skin.
“Bring Jacky Taylor over for me!”
