Chapter 27 Final Certificate
Chapter 27 Final Certificate
Angel reached out and rummaged through the pile of student books nearest her. “Hugo, are you sure
you sorted them out instead of just moving them out?”
Professor Jordan smiled, “Both.”
He quickly changed the subject, “Your PowerPoint presentation was great! Perfect! You know what I
thought! Come with me to class today and do this after class. No hurry, no hurry.”
Professor Jordan was absolutely thrilled.
He pointed to the hot meal box almost submerged on the table. “My wife asked me to bring you
dumplings, stuffed with cabbage and pork. She said that you are too thin, and you should eat more of
her cooking in the future.
Angel touched the meal box and smiled. “Your wife is good to me.”
Professor Jordan wanted to win favor, but after looking at all the materials in the room, he had no
choice but to be silent.
Angel followed Professor Jordan to a class.
Professor Jordan proudly introduced her to the students and amazed them all.
Angel wore a gray-and-pink checked suit with a chiffon shirt, black cropped trousers, with hair pulled
up, trying to look older and older.
Unfortunately, her baby face didn't work so well.
Such a dress let her a bit more capable, but did not make her look “old”.
The students were suddenly attracted by her.
Professor Jordan found the male students involuntarily sitting up straight body, so he said with pride,
“Do you want to date with her? Easy! Do not be absent from class, hand in homework on time, meet
my requirements of work design, and get A+ in paper, I will ask her out for you!”
The boys cheered at once.
“Professor, are you serious?”
“Professor, will you keep your word?
“Professor, you can't go back on your word!”
“Professor, I recorded, don't go back on your word!”
Angel was speechless.
But she sat still with a perfect smile on her face.
This unreliable old man was literally using her as a final certificate. Material © of NôvelDrama.Org.
Unfortunately, this group of students was with high IQ and low EQ. If the old man would fulfill his
promise, he must be a false Professor Jordan!
And the girls made Angel feel that she had become a perfect hedgehog.
Then they finished a lesson.
The class atmosphere was surprisingly good. The more focused the students were, the more excited
he became.
And finally, he told the students that the 80-plus page PowerPoint presentation was made by his
teaching assistant.
It made the attention of the students fall on her again.
So when Professor Jordan asked her to the next class, she resolutely refused to be a reward again.
The old man grinned, unconcerned.
Without going to class, he had a way of letting his students know about their “rewards” for the
semester!
Angel stayed in Professor Jordan's office to sort through the mountain of files that belonged to her.
She knew that, except for the student information that needed to be registered, all the other information
was found by the professor for her reference and study, which were all precious materials that could
not be found outside.
So, she was willing to be “enslaved” by this crazy old man.
It was already noon when Professor Jordan finished his class. When he returned to his office, he was
startled as soon as he opened the door.
The office, which was so messy that it was hard to find a place so stand, became so tidy that even the
floor was spotless.
Professor Jordan couldn't help but walk out and looked around. He suspected he had gone to the
wrong office.
That was right!
He pushed open the door again.
“Angel?” There was nobody in the room.
His desk and chair had been rearranged. In front of the bookshelves there were four desks, on each
desk were materials and books, neatly arranged, even the bottom of the table was filled.
“Here I am!” A voice muffled from under the table.
Then she poked out a head and groaned, “Hugo! Is it too late for me to go back on being your TA
now?”
Angel's morning updo, fashionably done, had fallen apart. Her hair, which was loosely curled like
seaweed, made her plain face as polished as a jade.
The plaid suit was draped over the chair, the chiffon shirt lapels hung loose, the shoes were set aside,
and she stood barefoot on the floor.
Hugo Jordan burst out into laughter.
She was still an intellectual elegant lady in the morning, but now she was the naughty lovely little girl.
Angel stood there with an angry look.
But immediately, her facial expression changed. She looked behind Hugo.
Behind Hugo stood a tall young man with a light blue shirt and a black three-piece suit. His coat was
hanging in his arms. In the other hand, he was holding Hugo’s teaching plans and computer.
He looked at the woman standing in the sun with the same stunned look.
“Ah, Jason, come in.” Hugo said to Jason.
Jason walked into Hugo's office and set the computer on the neat desk -- the tidiest it had ever been.
The pens were in the pen holder, the business cards were in the card holder and the pad of paper was
in the note box.
The big books were neatly stacked.
No wonder Professor Jordan was about to exit just now to make sure that if he had entered the wrong
room. If he had entered alone, he would have gone out without hesitation. This room was too
inconsistent with Professor Jordan's.
“Angel, I thought I was in the wrong office.” Hugo was excited, looking around.
Angel put on her shoes quickly.
Why was Jason here?
She lowered her head to rearrange her clothes, slowly calmed her breath and reached out to put on her
suit.
“Angel, Angel, what did you say? Stop being my teaching assistant? Now way, you can’t regret!!”
He gave a stern warning.
Suddenly he pulled Angel to Jason, “This is your senior! Come, come! If you're too busy, you can ask
him for help!”
“He is Jason! How's that? Handsome?” The old man looked at Angel with little stars in his eyes.
Angel lowered her eyelashes as if embarrassed.
Her fists were clenched at her sides.
Her body tensed, trying to keep her breathing steady.
Hugo said to Jason, “Well, this is my proud student after you, Angel! You are her senior, take good care
of her! Do you hear me? I didn’t expect we gather in M City!”
He leaned closer to Jason and said in a low voice Angel could hear, “You have to help me keep her.
You can't make her go back on her words, understand? It is not easy to find a sensible obedient
apprentice!”
Jason had been pacified from the first surprise. So the proud student Professor Jordan had been
talking about was Angel.
He looked at Angel with a smile. “Hello, Angel.”
He had a soft sweet voice.
Angel calmly raised his eyes, glanced at him, and slightly bent his lip. “Hello, Jason.”
Hugo looked to his left and then to his right.
“Well, why are you so shy?”
“Angel, Angel?” He waved his hand before Angel's eyes.
“If you don't have a boyfriend, I will introduce you to Jason. He is single, excellent without
shortcomings. He and your elder brother are alike, you will like him.” Hugo spoke with utmost sincerity.
Angel glared at him. “Hugo,” she said, “Would you like my brother to fly over to play chess with you and
talk about my teaching assistant job for you? I can call you right now!” She said almost through gritted
teeth.
Hugo repeatedly shook his head, “No, No, No, No, No, No, No, your brother is so busy, don't bother
him. Don't, Don't, I still want to live a few more years.”
If Kyle knew Angel cleaned up his office, he would be angry.
He looked at Jason and suddenly had an idea: what would it be like if the two met?
Angel ignored him and took Jason as air.
She pointed to the piles of materials under the desk and said to Hugo, “Hugo, I have put them up in
different categories. You must not mess with them. Otherwise, I will never tidy them up again.”
She pointed to the paper in the corner, half a meter high, “I want to take those home to sort out, do I
need procedures to borrow them?”
Hugo turned over, “No, take them away. They are the materials of my earlier years of material, which
has not been rearranged.”
Once again, he felt that it was right to bring Angel back.
Angel pointed to the meal box. “I had the dumplings, please tell your wife they are delicious.”
She smiled, so that everyone who saw her smile would feel that she had delicious dumplings.
Hugo was pleased, “I will tell her. She will be happy if you have her cooking every day!”
“By the way, how are you going to get the data back? Can you carry it?” Hugo patted that thick one
pile, and then he looked at Jason.
“Jason, send Angel back, these are too heavy.”
Before Angel could say a word, Jason nodded, “OK.”
Hugo beamed, looking at his disciples leaving.
Downstairs, Angel holding the small part of the information in her arms looked at the pile of Jason
effortlessly carrying and softly said, “Hugo, I can call a taxi.”
Jason did not speak but directly went to his car, opened the trunk and put the materials in.
Angel tried to say something, but she never said it, and her eyes followed his figure.
Jason took the materials in Angel's hands and put them in the back seat, then pulled open the copilot's
door, looked at her and said softly, “Let’s go, Angel.”
Angel said nothing, got into the car and fastened her seatbelt.
Jason started the car, and Angel told him her address.
Jason nodded.
Angel looked out of the window with her head slightly tilted.
