Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 186

Suddenly, Jesse raised his hand and touched Nydia’s eye.

“There’s some gum in your eye.”

“…” Nydia was embarrassed on the spot! She cried, “It hurts, my eyes hurt, you have medical oil on your hand!”

Jesse was shocked and realized that he had touched her eye with his fingers, which had medicine oil on them.

“Quickly rinse it off.”

Nydia immediately ran to the bathroom to wash her eyes.

“How is it?”

“I think I’m going blind, it hurts so much.”

“Then let’s go to the hospital.” Jesse was about to call someone to get the car ready. He was not sure how irritating the medicine oil was to the eyes.

“I’ll wash it again.”

She washed her eyes again and wiped them dry, then looked at Jesse. Her left eye was completely red, and tears kept streaming down.

“Is it better?” His voice was uncontrollably worried.

“It’s better, but it’s a little blurry.”

“Then let’s go to the hospital.”

“No need. It should be fine in a while. It just needs some time to recover from the stimulation.”

“Wait for half an hour.”

“What?”

“If it’s not better in half an hour, we’ll go to the hospital.”

“Okay.”

Nydia was quite obedient this time. She washed her nose, her eyes were still tearing, and she even had a runny nose. All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

“Then I’ll wait in your room.” She went straight to Jesse’s bed.

“Don’t you have the heart to kick me out?” She was very aggrieved.

Jesse had a headache. He didn’t say anything and went to wash his hands. It was his fault for not washing his hands just now.

Nydia lay on Jesse’s bed. Because her eyes were uncomfortable, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

When Jesse came back after washing his hands, he found that Nydia’s breathing had become steady and long. He didn’t know whether to say she was brave or deliberate. She fell asleep without knowing the situation of her eyes.

It didn’t seem appropriate to wake her up now.

This was not the first time that she had slept on his bed without any guard. Jesse let her be.

When he finished arranging things for tomorrow, it was almost midnight. He also lay down to sleep.

When he was about to turn off the light, he noticed tears in Nydia’s eyes, wetting her curled eyelashes. Her eyelashes were long and cast a shadow. She looked like a pitiful little thing.

Jesse reached out and wiped away the tears from the corner of her eye with his fingertips before turning off the light.

He lay in bed and looked at the dark room. It felt like he was dreaming, as if he had entered a parallel universe. Otherwise, how could he and Nydia be so harmonious? Quarrels, cold wars, curses, and tantrums were their norm.

The next morning, Jesse was awakened by Nydia’s frantic crying.

“Jesse, my eyes, my eyes, I can’t see, Jesse!”

He opened his eyes suddenly and immediately looked at Nydia’s eyes. She covered her eyes with her hands. “Jesse, I can’t see!”

“Let’s go to the hospital!” He immediately wanted to get up, looking extremely anxious.

Nydia grabbed him and sat on his lap, his firm belly easily bearing her weight.

“Hey, just kidding!” She grinned, feeling pleased with herself. Her previously uncomfortable eye was now back to normal, no longer red, reflecting Jesse’s livid face.

“Uh… I was just joking, don’t be angry, I’m sorry!” She had only wanted to test how nervous Jesse was about her, and it seemed like she had gone too far.

Jesse didn’t say a word, just pushed her away. She fell onto the bed, too afraid to even cry out in pain.

Then she saw Jesse get out of bed and sit on the wheelchair, heading towards the bathroom.

Oh no!

He was really angry now.

As expected, no pain, no gain!

Nydia could only shamefully follow him to the bathroom, but as she approached, there was a loud bang as the door closed shut, nearly catching Nydia in the process.
