Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 232

Nydia had already entered the bedroom, and Jesse hesitated before deciding to go back to the room too.

After returning to the room, he hesitated for a moment, wondering whether or not to lock the door.

He decided to wait by the door instead, and if Nydia came over, he would lock the door!

When he realized how ridiculous his behavior was, he felt stupid. What was he doing? Why was he acting like a high school student?

Feeling embarrassed, he touched his nose and decided to take a shower first.

Meanwhile, Nydia had already gotten hold of the love letter on the table.

The envelope was plain, but it was marked with “To Nydia” in a powerful and sharp handwriting.

As they say, seeing someone’s handwriting is like seeing the person themselves, and seeing Jesse’s handwriting, she could imagine what kind of person he was.

Each stroke was as firm and unyielding as his spine, cold and distant, but occasionally, there was tenderness hidden in the curves and hooks.

Opening the letter, it was not long.

“Mrs. Pascall:

The first time I saw you, the sun was shining brightly, and it shone through the green leaves onto your light pink long dress. You were beautiful, unforgettable.”]

The signature at the end: “Mr. Pascall, July 22, 2020”

Nydia was stunned looking at this short sentence. Was this really the first time Jesse had seen her? How come she had no impression?

With Jesse’s looks, she couldn’t possibly have no impression of him.

So she immediately went to Jesse’s room with the love letter in hand.

There was no one in the room when she entered, so she went to the study. But no one was there either. She figured he must have been in the shower, so she went back to the bedroom to wait.

When Jesse finished his shower and came out, he saw Nydia sitting on the sofa still reading the letter.

He thought he should have locked the door!

“You’re done with your shower, let me dry your hair,” Nydia put down the love letter and walked over.

“I don’t need to, I…”Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!

Nydia didn’t give him a chance to refuse, she took the towel and wiped his hair. His black wet hair hung loosely over his face, creating a strong visual impact with his skin color, and his black eyes were like a vortex, pulling people in.

Usually, he gave off an aloof vibe, but at that moment, he was suddenly painted with thick ink, like a flower with attack power, easily taking her breath away.

This man was so sexy it was almost lethal!

So she was even more puzzled why she had no impression of him the first time they met.

As she blew his hair, her fingers casually traveled through his hair, occasionally brushing against his scalp. She didn’t feel anything special, but Jesse felt his body tense unconsciously as her fingers moved through his hair.

“Almost done,” his voice was already tense, he couldn’t let her blow any longer.

“Okay, almost done. Don’t move, I’ll give you a massage,” said Nydia.

“No need!” Jesse was startled. He could barely handle having his hair blown, let alone a massage.

“You work hard every day, let me give you a relaxing massage. If sitting makes you uncomfortable, you can lie down and I’ll massage you,” Nydia continued.

“Fine, I’ll sit,” Jesse conceded. Lying down would only make it more obvious.

When Nydia lived with Mr. Black in the temple, she learned how to give massages. Head massages were relatively easy, and she used a unique technique to massage Jesse. He immediately felt incredibly comfortable and relaxed.

However, when her fingers moved to his neck and shoulders, he tensed up.

“No need for a massage,” he said, his voice hoarse.

“I have a question for you. I don’t remember the scene you wrote about in the love letter you gave me when we first met. How come?” Nydia asked.

Jesse didn’t answer right away. Instead, he recalled the scene in question.

“You just glanced at me and went back to drawing,” he finally replied.
