Reborn Before The Divorce

Chapter 265

Nydia and her two children exchanged a glance.

Which is more important, going out for a family outing or going to school and work?

The two children happily went back to their bedroom to pack up their things.

Nydia also went to pack up her things.

Even though it was only for one night, she still needed to tidy up a bit.

While she was packing, she heard some noise behind her and turned around to see Jesse coming in.

“Aren’t you going to pack?” she asked.

“I’ll help you later,” he said.

Nydia paused and looked at Jesse.

“About that night, I’m sorry,” he said.

Seeing Nydia’s surprised expression, Jesse was taken aback. “What’s with that expression?”

“I didn’t expect you to apologize.”

“I did something wrong, so naturally I should apologize.”

Actually, Nydia wanted to ask him what he did wrong.

But if she did, it might make the atmosphere awkward again.

Since he had apologized, she naturally wouldn’t hold it against him.

“Okay, then I’ll reluctantly forgive you,” she said with a smile, instantly dispelling the gloom that had been hanging over Jesse for the past two days.

She packed up her own things, not using a suitcase, but a large bag to pack up her nightgown and clothes for tomorrow, as well as skincare and makeup removal products that she would need.

“I’m done. Let’s go to your room.”

“Okay.”

After the two of them entered the room, Nydia was actually a bit unsure how to pack up since she had never packed up for Jesse before.

“You can pack as you wish, and if there’s anything you need to add, I’ll tell you,” he said.

“Okay.”

She took out his pajamas and folded them neatly. Jesse’s gaze fell on her fingers and noticed that she wasn’t wearing a ring. She always wore her wedding ring while at home. He opened the drawer of the bedside table and took out his own ring to put it on. Nydia didn’t notice his action and was focused on packing his things. He watched her silently, his eyes filled with tenderness.

“Tomorrow, wear something casual,” she said.

“Okay.”

“These are your skincare products. Let me pack them for you.”

“Okay.”

“Pack these medicines too.” Jesse handed Nydia his medicine, which included some for calming, pain relief, and Traditional Chinese Medicine prescribed by a doctor.

When Nydia received the medicine, her gaze fell on his fingers. He was wearing a wedding ring on his slender fingers. She was stunned because she didn’t remember seeing it before. At least she didn’t recall seeing it when he gave her flowers. She glanced at him, but he seemed calm.

This man always teased her with details that made her heart skip a beat. Looking at her own bare fingers, she felt uneasy.

“Daddy, Mommy, we finished packing,” said Molly and Tavish as they came over, each dragging a small suitcase.

“Everything is packed? Nothing left behind?” Nydia asked.

“Brother checked for me, so nothing is left behind. He’s very responsible, so you don’t have to worry,” said Molly, expressing her trust in Tavish.

“Mommy, Daddy, have you made up?” Molly asked with a smile.

Jesse and Nydia felt embarrassed, but Jesse answered, “We made up. Sorry to have worried you.”

“It’s okay. But to prove that you two made up, give each other a kiss,” Molly said with a smile.
