Of course, It was more than that. There was a huge rift between them.
Keilani, upon realizing that Sabrina was a photographer, suddenly remembered Blayze’s passion for photography. Despite Blayze’s fame in the photographic field, his status prevented him from pursuing it professionally.
When Blayze first came to Philade, he met William through photography and Lance through work, and through them, Keilani.
Not long after they met, Blayze had a clear idea of Keilani’s character. After seeing the odd expression on Keilani’s face, he started to suspect something but chose not to comment on it. “I see.”
Blayze cast a glance at everyone around the table and said, “Allow me to make the introduction. This is Sabrina Chavez, a friend and student of mine, new to Philade. Please look out for her.”
“It’s my pleasure.”
“A friend of yours is a friend of mine. Take it easy,” most of their friends echoed, accepting Sabrina easily.
William curled his lips and said nothing. He suddenly remembered that not long ago, Blayze had mentioned giving his contact to a friend coming to Philade.
Blayze said his friend might decide to work in Philade as a photographer and would likely reach out to William. William waited for a long time, but no one contacted him.
After a while, William concluded that the friend Blayze had mentioned probably didn’t stay in Philade or had decided not to pursue photography professionally.
He was quite shocked to find out that the friend Blayze was talking about was actually Sabrina. Sabrina was a newcomer in Philade. He should have thought of it.
Smiling, Sabrina raised her glass to everyone in the room. “Thank you, Blayze, for introducing me to Collen and Bella. They helped me settle in very quickly. It’s an honor to meet everyone here. I’ll keep it short and toast to you all.”
“No need for formalities,” came the reply.
Everyone had lifted their glasses to Sabrina in a toast. Keilani scoffed, looking around. She rolled her eyes but remained silent.
Blayze picked up the wine glass on the table and strode toward Sabrina. After clinking his glass with hers, he said, “There’s no need to be so polite with them. If you need anything, just say so.”
Sabrina lifted her glass to him in acknowledgment and smiled.

“Well, we’ve said our hellos and had our drink. We’ll head back now.”
Bella waved goodbye.
“Okay, go ahead.” Blayze simply nodded.
“Blayze, let’s catch up another time,” Sabrina said to Blayze.
“Sure, I’ll treat you to dinner when I’m free,” Blayze replied with a smile.
After that, Sabrina left with Bella and closed the door.
Collen turned to William and stared at him curiously. “What was Bella hinting at? Celebrating Sabrina’s new job? Wasn’t she already at Saleel Studio?”
