Chapter 24: Bab 23

Chapter 24: Bab 23

"It's sad, when I could only touch you with prayer."

***

Actually SCELUS is really easy to guess, right?

***

ARJUNA stared at the white room around him silently. Her eyes fell on a woman standing beside a

gurney, peeling an apple.

"Mama?" Arjuna softly quieted.

The woman was surprised, immediately turned her head towards the voice. Then found his son was

awake.

"Juna already realized! Hurry up and call the doctor, Pah!" shouted Anerine-Ibu Arjuna.

The man who had been sitting casually reading a newspaper, now moved from his position to find a NôvelDrama.Org content rights.

doctor. Meanwhile, the boy who just woke up from his long sleep, now stares in confusion.

"What hurts, son?" asked Anerine while gently stroking Arjuna's head.

Arjuna was silent, feeling his body. Almost all of them were sick. However, he felt the pain in his lower

abdomen.

The boy remembered, it must be the stab mark that night. The night they helped Sheril. To save God,

Arjuna sacrificed himself.

**

Almost the last bite of the meatball came to Starla's mouth when her cellphone rang. The girl stopped

her activities, then grabbed a flat object that she kept in her uniform pocket.

"Hello?" Starla replied without glancing at who the caller was.

"Star. Arjuna is aware," said a girl on the other side. Starla was sure, it was the voice of Ajrina -

Arjuna's sister.

"I'm going there now," said Starla, who then disconnected her call.

"Where are you going?" asked Dewa. The boy overheard Starla's leaving conversation, because the

girl was right beside him.

"Juna already realized," Starla looked at Dewa, "send me to the hospital."

"Prince Arjuna has regained consciousness?" said Tama, the boy then pounded the canteen table. To

the surprise of almost the entire population, "we are going to the hospital now!"

"How do you know if Arjuna is aware?" asked the god with one eyebrow raised.

"That's not important. The important thing is we go to the hospital, now. You don't want to wait for me? I

can go alone," Starla said slightly raising her tone.

"Can you be patient, can you?" annoyed Dewa.

"So, hurry!"

Dewa then got up from his place, grabbed Starla's hand and took the girl to where her motorbike was

parked. Meanwhile, Dewa and Starla's friends who saw this, were both silent until Tama's voice startled

them.

"Here, are we not invited?" said Tama.

**

"Mama and Papa, where are you?" asked Arjuna when he realized that his parents were not there after

the doctor examined him.

"I told them to go home. Poor thing, they came back from Malaysia yesterday without sleeping. Come

straight here and take care of you, I'm afraid they will get sick. It's okay, right?" said Ajrina.

Arjuna nodded. "Why don't you go home yourself, Sis? You can get sick too."

"When I come home, who will take care of my handsome sister, then? Kidnapped by a naughty nurse."

Ajrina chuckled.

Arjuna rolled his eyes lazily. "Seriously. Just go home, I'm fine."

"Why do you like being alone so much?" Ajrina shook her head, "later, if someone takes care of you, I'll

go home."

The knock on the door brought Ajrina and Arjuna's conversation to a halt. Ajrina immediately walked

towards the door to see who had come. Before long, the girl returned with two people in tow.

"Who?" asked Arjuna who did not see Starla and Dewa coming.

"Your boyfriend, that's it," said Ajrina.

"Jun, what hurts?" asked Starla when she reached Arjuna's gurney.

"What do you think?" Arjuna asked in return.

"Stomach huh, sure?" Starla said as she glanced at Arjuna's stomach which was covered in a blanket.

Arjuna nodded briefly. Then he glanced at Dewa. "Truancy?"

Dewa only nodded in response. Then, the guy chose to retreat by sitting on a sofa that was indeed

available in the VVIP room.

"Well, while someone is taking care of you. I'll come home for a moment, yes. I want to take a shower

and help Mama bring your clothes," said Ajrina, Arjuna nodded.

"Be careful, Sis," said Starla.

"Yes. Leave it for a moment, yes." Ajrina pointed at Arjuna with her chin, then the girl stepped outside

leaving only Arjuna, Starla and Dewa in the room.

"This is all because of Sheril, why do you think she could be kidnapped? You are the one who got it,

Jun," Starla annoyed.

The god who listened was silent while playing with his cellphone. Opening and closing applications

from one application to another like no work. Ah yes, it's not unusual now that Sheril rarely calls or

chats with herself.

"Alright, Star. It's okay."

"Gu-"

"Excuse me," their attention turned to an attendant bringing food. "This is lunch for the patient."

"Thanks," said Starla. Then, the officer left. "Eat first, here."

However, Arjuna was silent.

"Why? Hospital food rumors are not good, Jun. But VVIP patient food seems a little 'different'." Starla's

comments when she saw the appearance of the food being arranged like in a restaurant.

"How do I eat it?" asked Arjuna, pointing to a position i himself.

"Well, sorry. Forgot." Starla chuckled softly, "I'll raise it a little, the top so you can eat?" Arjuna just

nodded, then Starla tried to raise Arjuna's mattress a little so that the boy could eat without choking.

Starla then feeds Arjuna painstakingly. Without realizing it, Dewa had been very concerned about the

interactions between the two of them. Dewa was sure, there was no way they could be that close if

they had just met.

But, if they had known each other before, why was Arjuna the same as a god at that time? Like new to

Starla. Actually, what did Dewa miss?

**

Since Arjuna's parents had returned, Starla decided to say goodbye to Dewa. Since he himself still had

unfinished business, meeting Arjuna earlier was enough.

Now, he and Dewa were walking towards the parking lot with Dewa walking behind Starla. Starla could

feel she was being stared at, so the girl looked back.

"What are you doing behind me, anyway? Like a bodyguard, you know?"

"Indeed, that's my job while Arjuna is sick," answered Dewa flatly.

"Yes, don't need to be behind too, please," Starla shook her head, then pulled Dewa's hand to walk

beside her, "just like this."

The god glanced at the girl whose height was only that shoulder in silence. Starla's hand has not left

her hand yet. Feeling noticed again, Starla turned her head back. Now the girl had to look up because

the god was too high from her.

"Why now?" asked Starla, embarrassed by the constant stare at Dewa.

The god averted his gaze. "Nothing."

"Oh, yeah. We haven't eaten yet, find something to eat, shall we?" asked Starla. Even if he was sure,

the gods would definitely reject him.

"Where to eat?" really an unexpected answer to Starla.

"E-uh, where-where, huh?" answered Starla confused.

"You're the one who invited but you don't know," sneered Dewa.

"I usually eat out at night, if it's late in the evening where do I know where. Please advise, Wa."

"You have to promise, don't throw tantrums," Dewa warned, making Starla's eyebrows knit together.

"Where are you taking me to?"

"Just come along."

**

Starla was silent when Dewa turned out to take her to WABAJA. The basecamp of all EAGLE

members. Geez, fortunately the girl Dewa brought to this gangster lair was Starla. Not a flabby girl who

likes to charm.

Because besides being a gathering place for EAGLE members, here is also a place where handsome

boys from various schools can gather.

"Wow, there are guests," said Bagus when he found the presence of Dewa and Starla.

"You know, how come inside?" teased Tama when Dewa walked past them.

"Arjuna's, don't disturb," warned Dewa who brought Starla into the shop.

"It's so crowded, how many people are there?" Starla commented as she peeked through the open

window.

"Maybe fifty," said Dewa, "Beh, the usual huh, two."

"Ready!" Sahur Babeh, who started taking action, processed Dewa's order.

"A lot," said Starla.

"It's not complete," Dewa said as he pulled Starla away from the window. "Sit."

Starla chuckled. "Can you do it, don't you have to pull it off?"

"No," said the god. Then both of them were silent, until Dewa's order came. A simple menu, only fried

instant noodles with additional vegetables and omelette.

The god glanced at Starla who was staring at the food in front of her silently. The god shook his head, it

must have been that the girl had never seen food like that before him.

"Why? Never eat instant noodles?" asked Dewa.

"No ..." Starla said.

"So, why did you only see it?"

"It's okay," said Starla. The girl immediately ate the food. Likewise with Gods.

In less than ten minutes, the two of them both finished their meal. Dewa was quite surprised, because

Starla is not the size of a long girl when it comes to eating.

"Wa," called Starla.

"What?"

"Lo, want to be friends with me, don't you?"
