Chapter 27
Chapter 27
Ashton’s POV
The bond between Aurora and Zen continued to flourish, as myself and Rose stepped back to allow them both more time together….
Zen sat by Auroras side, as she voluntarily snuggled closer to him….. writhing under his dominance and protection. Sure, she was a tiny female wolf. however she was good enough for him! If anything, it only added to how powerful he felt… and Zen knew that we would stop at nothing to protect our matc.
It was sad though, remembering back to Vanessa and how we had shared a moment similar to this one a few years back…
But I couldn’t let my grief destroy my wolves chance to start a new. Rose was humble, and way less bitchy and needy compared to the other single females in the pack!
At this time, the way Rose had walked straight in to my life, she seemed the best choice for the job….and if I can get back at Derrick Colt a little in the process, even better!
“You’re so much larger than me!‘ I hear Auroras giggling tone fill our thoughts, her voice very similar yet still different to Rose’s own.
“I like it that way…” Zen replies to her briskly, as we feel Auroras soft fur stroke against ours.
Although this was her first time out, the female wolf didn’t seem too shy… not like how Rose can get sometimes.
However, the sweet bonding between our beasts is short–lived as the sound of urgent footsteps and yells approach from outside of the door – disrupting the overall calmness of the house. My wolf perks up slightly in alert, as I choose to push him back and regain control.
I recognise the voice instantly as Hunt, before I open my mind link up to the rest of the pack – having shut everyone out during this private moment with Rose.
Ash where the fuck are you man? Rogues! There’s rogues Hunts voice crashes into my mind instantly, as I waste no time before standing up on all fours.
Rose listen to me! You have to take back control… I tell her next through our own link, before watching the snow white wolves eyes close over on my command – something she tends to do to help herself concentrate.
She opens them again moments later, blinking a few times, before Hunt, my Beta, bursts through the door with a look of urgency etched on his face. “Ashton, we’ve got a situation,” he blurts out, his tone edged with tension and his breathing heavy.
He then eyes us both, soon realising that he had disrupted our moment…..
Show me to them! I mind–link him, unable to answer in this form, before Hunt nods and wastes no time before shifting himself – revealing his tan coloured woll as he lands forward on his paws.
Rose stay here… I’ll send Oliver in to keep you company… I’ll be back soon, I have to handle something! I tell her next, feeling the tension radiate off from her –‘ knowing deep down that something was wrong.

She nods her head, before I spring to action – following Hunt out of the house and anto
Hunt continues to update me through our link as we both sprint, his voice hurried. Rogues have breached our territory. They’re causing havoc on
on the outskirts. He states, causing my teeth to clench.
Why would they even dare come here? It was nothing more than certain death for them coming

The news sends a surge of adrenaline through me. Hagues on may land is a thurat that won’t be ignored or treated lightly. Our territory is our sanctuary, and anyone who dares to tirejais is met with swift and unwavering consequences!
The battle cry of wolves fills the air as we descend upon the outskirts of the land. The scent of wet putts and decay fills my nostrils almost instantly…
The tension and danger hangs heavy, and the adrenaline coursing through my vein sharpens my senses as I push to run fastes towards the incident. As we arrive to the dearing, seeing our best pack warriors forming a united hout, as they confront the rogues head on.
The confrontation is here and intense. The clash of bodies, the snap of jaws, and the snach of aggression create a symphony of chaos. Each strike,
each movement is calculated, a dance of dominance that determines the outcome of this battle..
I find two dead already, slung to the side like wet dirty laundry……, and it is then that I notice how outnumbered the wolves were..
Our wolves, fight as one, a cohesive unit that overwhelms the rogues, as 1 glance around the group briefly–counting six more in total.
Don’t kill them! Capture them and we will lock them up! I want them for questioning! I demand my wishes through the pack mind–link, as my wolves shift their approach instantly.
It is then that myself and Hunt step in, helping to tackle and control each wolf–causing injury yet not brutal enough to end their pathetic lives.
More of our warriors arrive at the scene, adding to our numbers to only help further secure the dogs we had pinned as they wiggle and writhe beneath us – snarling and baring their teeth.
As we surround them and take total control, I shift into my human form, showing my sheer irritation towards the wolves. “I want you all to shift! Or you will face instant death!” 1 rage, before hearing one of the bolder ones snarl at my words,
I lose my temper, feeling utterly disrespected, as I storm towards the male in question, lean down towards him, and get into position with my arms around his neck before
I suddenly feel the fur disappear, as I release the stupid, sorry, excuse of a man from my hold.
“Unless I have to snap each of your scrawny fucking necks – I suggest that the rest of you shift too!” I roar out loudly, showing my temper as more bones and cracks are heard.
As each of them shift, my men do the same moving in to hold each of them tightly to ensure they had no means of escape.
“Now… tell me who the fuck sent you here?! How dare you trespass on my land and think you can get away with it!” I state, pacing around in front of them, as many of their unfamiliar faces hold both a mixture of fear and disgust.
“The darkness is coming to you, Alpha,” One of the middle aged rogues growl out, his eyes glinting with malice as he dares to hold my eye contact. “Prepare yourselves for the storm.” He spits at my feet, before two of my own warriors force him to kneel before me as he grunts.
My heart clenches at the ominous words, and my temper boils with a sense of foreboding settling over me. The rogues are mere messengers, pawns a game orchestrated by a greater power… They were merely sent here as pigs, preparing for slaughter, a pathetic ‘warning if I’ve ever seen one!
“WHO SENT YOU?!” 1 saunter towards the bolder one, as he lifts his gaze to look up at me which only infuriates me further,
With that, I raise my fist, and crash my knuckles down on his nose hearing it crack before the blood itself trickles down to his lips…
He yells and groans, trying to escape the tight hold he was currently under as a few of my men snigger at the sight.
“I won’t ask again… it’s the neck next! Who the fuck sent you…?” I spit down at him, as he sucks in breaths through his teeth–which were now st
staining red too.
The rogue struggles, a mix of defiance and pain etched onto his face as he refuses to give in. His silence only fuels my anger, and my patience wears thin. I give him a firm nod, a signal to my men who were holding him down, as they tighten their grip on him, pinning him harder to the ground.
“You’re making a grave mistake.” He seethes through gritted teeth, blood mingling with his words. The darkness is rising, and nothing can stop it. Your days of power are numbered”
His words are cryptic, a veiled threat that does nothing but strengthen my resolve. I lean in closer, my voice dripping with veniam. “You underestimate the power of this pack. We are united, strong, and we will prevail against whatever you think is coming our way! Foolish mutt!“ į state.

The rogues defiant expression wavers, a flicker of fear crossing his eyes. He glances around at his captured companions, realizing that he’s outnumbered and outmatched.
Slowly, he starts to relent, the weight of his impending doon seeming to sink in..
Fine, 111 fucking tell you!” Ile spits out, his tone begrudging. “We were sent by the Eclipse Pack. They re coming for you, all of them are. The others believe they’re destined to rule, to bring about a new era.” He laughs slightly, seeming ansined by what he’s telling me.

“You’re idiots if you think we’ll bow to your delusions… if the A growl rumbles in my throat, a mixture of anger and frustration suddenly growing. You re Eclipse Pack dare to set foot here, they will be wiped out of existence – trust me on that.” I mock, challenging him as he stares into my eyes.
The rogue then laughs, a harsh and mocking sound that grates on my nerves. “You’ll see, Alpha. It’s not just the Eclipse that is coming… none of you can escape your fate!” He states, matter of factly, as I scoff.
“I figured that… those cowards would never challenge us on their own!” I laugh louder, as the rest of my men join in, seeming to light a fire in the rogue as he thrashes around some more in a weak attempt of escape.
Without another word, I signal to my warriors, and they haul the rogues to their feet, forcing them to walk ahead of us as we return back to the pack
grounds.

As we arrive at the cells, I watch as the rogues are locked away, their taunts and threats falling on might be true, but we will be damned if we let them live after it…

With the rogues secured, I finally let out a breath I hadn’t realized I was holding. The tension in the air is palpable, a sense of unease that lingers knowing I must prepare my pack for more war… one that might land on our doorstep this time.
We exit the cells, a place of maximum security which would be impossible to escape… I’ll come back to pay them each a visit soon enough. Until then, they can tremble and ponder on what is yet to come…
“You good?!” I turn to feel Sawyers strong hand on my shoulder as I nod at him once.
“Couldn’t be better!” 1 state, the sarcasm dripping from my words.
“You don’t think he means what he said do you? The Eclipse Pack wouldn’t dare turn up here…” Sawyer continues, as we walk back to my private grounds – Hunt also approaching to walk with us.
“I think this has a lot to do with Derrick Colt… it seems he may have promised the Pack extra numbers and tools… I can’t imagine they would challenge us otherwise!” I grumble, hating the very ground Derrick Colt walks upon.
Not only did he reject and banish Rose, but he was also our most wanted war criminal… who has knowingly abused the children of the packs!

Chapter Comments
Ruin them is the best way to do it. The Moon Lust Pack doesn’t respect the value of the lower ranks of their pack including pack slavi so ruin the pack financially will hurt way more than anything else
