Chapter 3216
Chapter 3216
Dylan hurriedly supported her. An ache pounding in his head, he asked, "What's up with you now?"
"I... need to go..." Imogen slurred with her eyes closed.
"You need to go to the bathroom?" Dylan was in a bad mood now.
Imogen could not walk steadily and if she went to the bathroom alone, he was afraid she would fall. He could not help her into the bathroom though. He was a man!
Imogen nodded and started walking again.
Dylan asked as he supported her, "Can you go by yourself?"
Imogen did not reply. She was so drunk she did not even know who was with her.
Seeing the state she was in, Dylan could only help her to the bathroom, muttering under his breath all the while. Once he got her inside, he hurriedly retreated to let her handle her business.Exclusive content from NôvelDrama.Org.
However, Imogen did not appear even after ten minutes. Dylan knocked on the door only to be answered with silence.
Opening the door to just a crack, he peeked in but did not see Imogen. Where was she? He opened the door wider in confusion and walked in to find Imogen sitting on the floor and leaning against the wall behind the door. He had not seen her because the gap had been too small.
This girl! From now on, he was not letting her drink that much again.
Oh, right. That was only if she was eating with him. How much she drank when she was with others had nothing to do with him.
Dylan walked over to her and bent down to pick her up. Then, he carried her out of the bathroom and laid her back on the bed.
At first, he was resting in the other room, but with Imogen in this state, he did not dare to. In the end, he lay on the sofa for the whole night.
The next day, he was woken by an
intense stare. He opened his eyes to Imogen's pretty face and blinked. When he finally came to his senses, he abruptly sat up from the sofa and glanced at his shirt.
Imogen was speechless at this. "Did you think I was going to take advantage of you while you were asleep?"
Dylan replied calmly, "You were as drunk as a dog last night. How could you not have?"
Imogen glared at him frostily. "Who are you calling a dog?"
"Me, alright, me. I slept like a dog last night." Good men did not fight women. Dylan conceded, not daring to go head-to-head with her.
Imogen harrumphed loudly. "You
think I didn't hear you talking shit about me? I just accidentally had a bit too much to drink last night. The whiskey Serenity ordered was so good I just didn't expect it to be so strong."
Even she had not expected she would get so drunk. She did not know what she was like when she was drunk and had no memory of what happened after she got intoxicated. When she saw Dylan sleeping on the sofa, she guessed that she had been too drunk and caused too much trouble for him to feel at ease leaving her alone in the room last night. Dylan was really nice when he was being nice but just did not seem to like her as Imogen Doyle.
"I told you the whiskey might taste
good but it's so strong it's easy to get drunk off it, but you didn't believe me and kept drinking. You believe me now, don't you?"
Dylan stood up and asked her in concern, "Does your head hurt?"
Imogen pursed her lips before softly humming in admission. "It does hurt a little, but I can bear it. Where are we? This isn't my hotel room."
