She Prince

Chapter 41

Third Person P. O. V

Sleeping peacefully on the bed WanKe removes the pillow from beneath his head and cradles it to his chest. The sun beams through the wooden lattice of the window making him to stir up when the first beam of the sunlight hits his face, groaning under his breath he sits up straight. He puts his hand to his head which is throbbing furrowing his eyebrows he turns to his left.

He moves behind with wide eyes, his hands automatically goes up to his chest covering it. Moving his gaze down he notices his dress on so he pushes his wild thoughts behind. Running his hands through his messy hair he looks up staring at the roof, a list of theories running in his mind trying to figure out what happened last night.Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

“Wasn’t I sober?,” He questions himself curiously.

Crawling a little forward he fixes his eyes on Feng Lei who is asleep, moving closer he bends a little his eyes observing his sharp features, a spontaneous smile forms on his face when something flashes in his mind. Hot blush creeps over his neck when he remembers the words which came out of Feng Lei’s mouth ‘I just can’t see you like this.’

“Thank you,” he whispers moving his face closer to him feeling the weight on his head disappear.

The silent environment makes him hear his own heart beat which is rising, his eyes falls out of it’s sockets when Feng Lei opens his eyes those orbs staring straight into his. Moving back immediately he looks away biting his lower lip.

“What were you looking at?,” Feng Lei asks hiding his playful smile, sitting up he moves his legs down sitting at the edge of the bed.

“Nothing,” WanKe snaps crawling forward he gets down from the bed.

“Are you okay?,” Getting up from the bed he looks at WanKe who is watching around with knitted eyebrows trying to remember what happen last night.

“Who broke the pot?,” He asks turning around facing Feng Lei who removes his eyes away from him that very second.

“Don’t you recall anything,” Feng Lei questions walking towards him, his eyes never willing to gaze away.

“I just remember only some incidents,” he almost tells it to himself, he turns around again to look at the mess of all pots lying in different positions on the table.

“What do you remember?,” Wanke’s eyes goes big when he feels Feng Lei’s presence behind “Do you remember that you,” he gets closer to him their body brushing against each other, snaking his hands around his waist he pulls WanKe close to him resting his chin over his shoulder “jumped on me and,” his voice gets low making WanKe have goose bumps when his breath hitches on his earlobe making him feel itchy “begged me to stay,” Feng Lei examines Wanke’s side features a smirk playing on his lips to see him baffled. Wanke’s body stiffens right after his touch, his brain going crazy trying to recall the scene as well as to manage those weird feelings rising in him.

“My ears has stop working,” WanKe keeps a wide step forward abruptly turning around he rubs his ears enjoying Feng Lei’s expression which clearly shows that he didn’t expect this “You’re making my ear itch,” he blurts hiding his smile.

“You are really something,” Feng Lei blurts pointing at him while Wanke raises his eyebrows at him amusingly with his arms crossed over his chest.

“We better hurry it’s the exam today,” turning around he picks up the hairpin from the table and inserts it the pocket, Feng Lei follows him behind to the academy to prepare for the exam.

Looking around cautiously Qin hands over a folded piece of paper to Wales who is looking at her curiously.

“Deliver this to XingXing now,” she utters keeping her voice low.

“Aunt are you alright,” Wales asks in concern being sure of knowing that something is not right by Mrs ‘ behaviour.

Wales addresses Mrs Qin as Aunt because she doesn’t like him calling her madam or anything else, She always thought Wales as her first son which built a special relationship between them.

“I wish that I could explain but there is no time left, the exam will begin soon,” wiping the sweat beads on her forehead with the back of her palm she steps forward “Please help my child,” her tone comes out as a mourn of begging which makes Wales to worry.

The environment captures silence while he looks at her trying to understand the situation but he has no idea what Mrs Qin is doing, suddenly he pulls her to a hug to comfort her.

“I’ll be back soon Aunt and you got to tell me everything,” he states releasing her from his warm hug which gave her hope.

Wales leaves quickly as he has to hand over the letter to XingXing before the exam begins, all his way while riding on the horse back he was worried about Mrs Qin praying that she is fine. His mind tries to find the reason why she was terrified but he couldn’t make it out.

“Is he really back to normal?,” HenYu utters looking at WanKe who is searching for something.

“He seems to be alright,” ChengLi replies their eyes glued to the front, they are standing by the doorway of the room with their hands over each other’s shoulder.

“Hey,” WanKe waves at them Making them to stand straight “Help me to find my band,” he orders by looking everywhere for it.

“Sure,” both replies in unison and walks in smiling in happiness of their friend being back to normal.

“WanKe are you prepared?,” ChengLi asks bending low he looks under the cupboard.

“He is always prepared,” HenYu replies before WanKe could utter a word.

“Oh I forgot,” WanKe tells aloud reminding himself “Feng Lei has it,” he rushes out leaving the two behind.

Stopping in his tracks on his way he stares at the gate when he spots Wales walking in, a smile makes it’s way on his lips when he sees him waving.

“Why are you here?,”

“Aunt told me to pass this letter to you quickly,” He hands over the letter to Wanke .

“You came all the way here for this,” he smiles unfolding the paper “I think she wants to bless me for the exam,” he holds the paper to the view, his pupil tracing every single letter inked down. He crushes the edges of the paper in astonishment like the world crashed right in front of his eyes.

“I don’t know why but she was terrified when speaking,” Wales informs while WanKe stares at the paper his heart pounding in fear.

“She’s alone,” he blurts lowly putting the paper into his pocket he runs to the exit followed by Wales.
