Chapter 2621
Chapter 2621
Kingston looked at Eevonne's other two cousins again. "Eevonne owes you money, right?"
Both of them had been stunned the whole time, and they did not know what to say. They were also afraid that they
would be dragged away by the police if they had said something wrong. It was when they heard Kingston asking them
that question that regained their senses as if they had just woken up from a dream.
"Yes, yes, yes! You're absolutely right. Eevonne owes US money, and she did not pay US back! That is indeed true!
she did owe the bank money, but she did owe US money as well! She owes US money, but she did not pay US back. Is
that not being a shifty non payer? She is a non-payer!"
"You're right, Eevonne is still a non-payer!" said Eevonne's cousin frantically.
He was extremely happy. Was the man in front of him a fool? Was he helping Eevonne or them? How fun! The cousin
looked at Eevonne with a smug expression. What he meant to tell her was that the helper that she got was shooting
her in her foot!
Kingston also saw her cousin's smug expression. "You're her cousin, right?"
Her cousin nodded. "Yes, I am Eevonne's cousin!"
"Do you have an informal written agreement for the money that Eevonne owes you?" asked Kingston.
"Hmph! Of course, I do. All things monetary have to be clearly recorded even if it was between siblings. How could I be
careless about this kind of thing? of course, there is an informal written agreement," he blurted out without knowing that
it was a trap.
"Please produce the informal written agreement!" said Kingston.
Eevonne's cousin immediately took out the agreement from his pocket and handed it to the police. "Do you think I won't
have the agreement on me? I'm sorry. You've miscalculated this. I've been carrying the agreement with me everywhere
I go. It's simply for the sake of guarding against shifty non-payers like you! Despicable jerks!"
"This is not right!" The police officer looked at him seriously. "In this informal written agreement, the amount went from
thirty thousand dollars to fifty thousand within two years. This interest is against the law!"
Kingston sneered. "Hah!" Contentt bel0ngs to N0ve/lDrâ/ma.O(r)g!
Eevonne's cousin was speechless. He suddenly realized that he had walked into a trap, but it was already too late.
He laughed coldly. "This is my aunt's family, when I lent the money to my aunt back then, it was for the sake of saving
her life! I ...how is it that I'm still wrong when I've saved a person's life?"
"Saving a person's life is not wrong! However, what else was written in that agreement?" Kingston kept pressing on.
"Not only did you write how much money she has to pay you back in the agreement, but you also wanted her house!
May I know what are you doing here today? Are you here as a guest at your aunt's house? May I know if anybody
would act like you if the person is a guest? You've raised your hand at your own cousin to the point that police were
alerted. Are you here as a guest? of course, not. Let me tell the police what you've come for. You're here to take
ownership of the house. Am I right?"
"She owes US money but she didn't pay US back, so of course, I'm here to take the house away from her. Even if we
are cousins, we still have to settle the accounts properly, don't we?"
"You're right! However, did Eevonne really not pay back the money she owes?" Kingston asked.
"Sure! Pay US back then! Pay US back immediately! As long as Eevonne pays back the money she owes US, we
certainly won't take away her house! However, if she didn't, don't blame me for being rude!" At that moment, no matter
how much Eevonne's cousin wanted her house, he also couldn't say it out loud in front of the police. He could only bite
the bullet and let Eevonne return him the money.
However, he knew that Eevonne could not pay him back. He was feeling fortunate and was waiting to see Eevonne
make a fool of herself. He wanted to see how Eevonne, a person with a huge debt, could take out fifty dollars in one
go!
Eevonne smiled miserably. "Kingston, all of my money is with my mother. I..."
At that moment, it was absolutely impossible for her mother to take the money out and embarrass Eevonne's cousin.
However, Kingston smiled calmly, and then he took out a deposit slip of fifty dollars from his pocket and handed it to
her. "Eevonne, take this to pay your cousin."
