Summon Of The Sword

Chapter 2384

Chapter 2384

Sean glanced at the man in his hand and said with a smile, "I almost failed our mission. Fortunately,

this guy is stupid enough to carve words into the tree."

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Was this guy disfigured by a fire? It seems he's a man of mystery too."

Daniel observed the man and said.

Sean nodded his head in recognition of his statement.

The man had severe burns on his face, hands, and his exposed skin.

It was reasonable to say that there was not much chance that he could survive with such a large area

of burns unless someone with miraculous medical skills took care of him.

'Miraculous medical skills... Soul Annihilating Needle...' Sean wondered as his eyes flickered

nostalgically.

"Ahem..."

Just then, the man in Sean's hand coughed and woke up.

He had a bloody hole in his chest, but it was not a fatal wound since Sean had no intention to kill him.

"Why didn't you kill me?"

The man, whom Sean had placed on the ground, was now leaning against the pine tree and staring

calmly at Sean.

Hearing that, Sean shook his head and smiled faintly, "I have no grudge against you. Why do I have to

kill you?"

"Haha, I didn't realize that even an expert like you has become Fabian's lackey!"

The man gave a bitter chuckle, his voice full of helplessness.

"What nonsense are you talking about? There's no way that Mr. Lennon is someone else's lackey.

"Even if the king is here, he's not good enough to make Mr. Lennon his lackey, let alone Fabian!"

Daniel glared at the man and said coldly.

Millie and Cynthia had walked out of the temple before the others could speak much.

Millie was holding a square wooden box with an urn in it.

The man's eyes turned red when he saw the wooden box.

"That bastard Fabian wouldn't let Serena go even if she was dead.

"What is he trying to do?"

The man struggled to get up, but the wound in his chest left him powerless.

Sean also frowned. He wondered if all these people were trying to keep Millie from getting the box.

However, he did not bother to ask. As long as Millie was safe, his job was done.

Millie was also startled by the man's ferocious appearance.

She carefully held the urn and moved slightly further away from the man. She even looked at the man's

eyes with some fear.

Cynthia was wearing a mask, concealing her features from others.

Her wounds were not deep. She was disfigured, but it was not fatal. After Sean treats the wounds, they

will heal seamlessly, so there will be no need for masks and such.

"Damn Fabian. He's a bastard!"

The man shouted into the sky, but he had no energy to get up-

Sean gazed at the man. With the man's collar in one hand, Sean headed out of Greenrie Cathedral.

The group got in the car and headed downtown.

When they returned to Ocean City, the journey was quiet, and no assassin or Hayes' men struck again.

Two hours later, the Hummer motorcade entered Ocean City.

The motorcade sped off toward Winters Residence.

Since it was already late at night, there were few vehicles on the streets. The motorcade naturally

moved fast.

"Sir! Miss and the rest are back!"

A hurried voice broke the silence at Winters Residence.

The next moment, lights turned on, and multiple figures walked out of their rooms.

Each of these people was dressed in black formal clothes as if they were going to someone's funeral.

After all, it was late at night and supposedly time to go to bed, but the Winters family looked grim as

they dressed in black suits, waiting for someone's funeral to begin.

Millie entered the courtyard first, followed by Cynthia, who was wearing a mask.Content property of NôvelDra/ma.Org.
