The Almighty Lord Caspian

Chapter 754 Finally Meet

Chapter 754 Finally Meet

The crowd was confused as they watched Logan approach Caspian.

They thought that Logan was going to greet Caspian.

Caspian used to be the Diatoranian God of War, after all.

Logan slowly approached Caspian as the crowd watched in anticipation.

Everyone held their breaths as they wondered what would happen when two powerful men met each

other.

Sherry was extremely nervous as she hid behind Caspian.

She knew that she could no longer avoid meeting Logan any further.

As Logan approached Caspian, he noticed that Sherry was hiding behind Caspian.

Caspian shouted, "Stop right there!"

The Stewarts were shocked by Caspian's shout.

They felt that it was rude of Caspian to shout at Logan when he had already been deposed from his

position in the military.

But Logan continued to walk forward.

Caspian was annoyed. "I said stop right there! Don't make me repeat myself."

Marilyn was furious. "Don't try to start trouble in my house, Caspian. Do you realize who you're talking

to? He's the head of the Massey family from Dhord City! Why don't you bring Willow and your mom and

get lost already?"

Logan's expression soured as he glared at Marilyn after listening to how she talked to Caspian.

Marilyn trembled with fear upon meeting Logan's gaze. She could only wonder what she had done to

anger Logan.

She wondered if she angered him for trying to kick Caspian out of her house.

Logan turned back to stare at both Caspian and Sherry.

His goal today was to reconnect with his family and bring them back home.

Suddenly, Sherry stepped out and looked straight at Logan.

Logan finally paused his steps as Sherry emerged from behind Caspian.

He had finally met his wife again.

20 years had passed, and Sherry was still the apple of Logan's eye despite how much they had both

aged.

Logan had a lot to say to Sherry, but as their gazes met, a surge of emotions that crept up his heart

rendered him completely speechless.

The next moment, Logan started to cry.

He suddenly felt very guilty.

He felt that he had wronged both Caspian and Sherry.

If not for the accident, Caspian would never have gone missing, and Sherry would have never left him.

The crowd was stunned as they watched Logan cry. They had no idea what had just happened.

Logan eventually managed to say, "Sherry!"

The guests were all confused as to why Logan would call out to Sherry. Content © provided by NôvelDrama.Org.

They could only wonder if Caspian and Sherry had already known Logan before this.

Sherry coldly explained, "Please call me Mrs. Lynch."

"Sherry, I'm sorry. You must have suffered a lot throughout the years."

"It's already in the past. I'm doing well with Caspian right now. I just don't want to see you ever again."

The crowd was stunned.

Logan explained, "Sherry, please listen to me! I swear that I really didn't lose Caspian on purpose back

then!"

"What else is there to explain after all these years? Your family shunned me for my humble upbringing,

and I've already decided to leave your side when you somehow lost Caspian.

"We don't need to explain to each other. It's already over."

The Stewarts were shocked by the revelation. They wondered if they were hearing things.

Denzel stepped forward and explained, "Mrs. Massey, Mr. Massey already did his best back then. And

since then, he had been looking for you and Caspian for 20 years straight."

Everyone was now sure that Sherry was Logan's wife.

The Stewart family started to panic.

Sherry replied, "Mr. Hunter, I never expected you to become such a smooth talker after so many years

had passed. But I still remember how much the Masseys hate me. I won't be returning to the family."

Denzel explained, "It's not like that, Mrs. Massey. The Massey family was being targeted by enemies

back then, and Mr. Massey wanted to send Caspian away to lay low with distant relatives.

"Nobody expected that they would be ambushed on the way there. Mr. Massey was seriously injured,

and Caspian was nowhere to be found ever since.

"Everything Mr. Massey had done was for the good of the family. He never intended to abandon

Caspian!"

Caspian waved his hand and replied, "That's enough. Please stop talking about it. It's been so many

years. Nothing matters anymore."

Denzel explained, "Caspian, if you return to the Masseys, you'll be able to live a great, worry-free life!"

"I've enjoyed all sorts of special treatment when I was the Diatoranian God of War. Do you think I would

care for any of that?"

Caspian didn't know what had happened all those years back. He was still furious as he thought he had

been abandoned.

Sherry covered her ears and shook her head. "I don't want to hear it!"

Sherry froze up upon listening to his explanation.

She was surprised that Logan knew about the assassination attempt on Caspian's life yesterday.

Everyone was unharmed at the end of the day, but it was still a frightening experience.

Gaining the protection of the Masseys would mean that the assassins would no longer be able to harm

them.

As of now, Logan just wanted to convince Sherry to follow him back. After all, he could always take

time to rebuild their relationship.

Caspian explained, "Don't worry, Mom. No one will be able to defeat me. And I don't need anyone to

protect me!"

The crowd silently watched the scene unfold.

No one had expected Caspian to have such a backstory.

They were surprised that the man they used to call a good-for-nothing was actually the heir of the

Massey family from Dhord City.

The Stewarts instantly changed their views on Caspian and Sherry.

Once Sherry nodded her head, she would return to her rightful position as Mrs. Massey.

And if Caspian nodded, he would return to his rightful position as Mr. Massey, heir to the Massey

family.

The Massey family was on a whole different level that mere civilians could never reach out to.
