The Billionaire’s Maid Bride (Flanagan and Allison)

Chapter 368

Chapter 368

Mrs. Pearson and her friends all knew Leah. They were part of the same social circle and often went to

hang out at the hot springs, played cards, and did beauty treatments and therapy together. To be

honest, they didn’t think much of Leah, the nouveau riche. But they were envious of Leah’s brilliant

daughter, who was pregnant with Lucian’s child. Once the baby was born, she would immediately

become a part of the Lindberg family.

Who wouldn’t envy the Flanagan family? They would soon be connected to the Lindbergs! The

Lindberg family was the wealthiest in Northfield, with their fingers in as many as thirty companies. Her

own family had recently established a partnership with Genesis Industries, a subsidiary of Lindberg

Corporation.

Serena looked at Leah. ‘Mrs. Flanagan, you’re here. I was just about to wrap things up and welcome

you.”

So, that was the reason Serena was running late, Mrs. Pearson realized. She knew Serena, one of the

main managers at the Red Jack Club, who took care of the waitstaff along with Sarah. Serena was the

best at catering to customers’ needs.

It made sense that Serena didn’t give her the time of day since she was cozying up to Leah. But for

now, she didn’t want to cross Leah.

Leah glanced at Serena. “You’re so busy, I couldn’t find anyone.” She took one look and knew what

had happened in the room, her eyes landing on Mrs. Pearson’s foot. ‘Mrs Pearson, why are you getting

upset with a flustered waiter?”

Mrs. Pearson chuckled. “You have a point.”

Now that Leah was here, Mrs. Pearson didn’t want to make this a bigger deal. She said to Serena, Copyright by Nôv/elDrama.Org.

“Okay, I won’t hold you back. Go attend to Mrs. Flanagan. As for this waiter, let it slide. Just be careful

next time, not everyone is as forgiving as I am.”

Tina was relieved to hear that she probably wouldn’t be fired. She thanked Mrs. Pearson profusely.

Serena immediately invited Leah to her office and personally served her tea. She knew why Leah was

there, and sighed, ‘Mrs. Flanagan, that Allison is indeed hard to deal with. As you know, Sarah is quite

fond of her. After all, she’s one of Sarah’s people, and it’s not easy

for me to act.”

Leah took a sip of her tea. “You didn’t say that a few days ago.”

‘Mrs. Flanagan, don’t be upset. I’m working on it.”

“Serena, I don’t care how you do it, I don’t want to see her here.” Not just here, but she wouldn’t let

Allison find any job in Northfield. She was going to make sure Allison and Grace were completely gone

from Northfield!

“Mrs. Flanagan, this does put me in a difficult position, especially with the big boss coming around

more often. I can’t make a big scene. Could you give me a few more days? I will handle it properly.”

*Serena, I’m not here for a chitchat. Handle it well, and I’ll reward you.”

“I understand, I understand.” Leah’s daughter was about to become a Lindberg, and Serena couldn’t

afford to upset her. She was trying her best to please her.

Sarah had rejected Leah. If Leah asked for her help, she would always do her best.

Meanwhile, Linda found Penelope in a private room. Penelope was playing cards with a bunch of

friends. “Going home now? Is there an emergency? Did my mom come?”

“Yes, she is talking with Serena.”

“Why did she come?” Penelope looked at her cards. “Alright, I get it. I’ll head back as soon as I finish

this game. You can go now.”

“Okay”

Linda was just the messenger. If Penelope didn’t want to go, she couldn’t force her. All she needed to

do was relay Leah’s message. It was better not to meddle, and Linda didn’t want to get involved.

Penelope’s temperament was hardly any better than Leah’s.

As Linda stepped out of the elevator, she ran into someone. “Allison.
