The Billionaire’s Maid Bride

Chapter 194

Chapter 194

Allison never thought she’d bump into Dr Dylan and Jade, here of all places.

She averted her gaze, gave a nod, and quietly waited for the elevator

Seeing that Allison gave him the cold shoulder, Dr. Dylan seemed slightly hurt. He told Jade, “Jade, go ahead to the private room. I’ll catch up

Like hell, would Jade listen? She looped her arm through his again, asserting her dominance over Allison “Allison, what a coincidence, meeting you here”

Allison just smirked, saying “Well, I work here, so it’s not that surprising. Have a blast”

Jade generously imited Allison “Allison, you’re off work. Why don’t we hang out together? It’s my birthday today. You’re invited to my party.”

“No thanks, I’ve got plans with a friend” Allison responded, looking at Jade with a gentle smile, “Happy birthday, Jade. I won’t disturb you guys.”

“Fine then.” Jade knew Allison wouldn’t show up anyway. She tightened her grip on Dr. Dylan’s arm, scrutinizing his face.

The elevator doors opened

As the crowd streamed out, Allison prepared to step in. She didn’t want to stick around.

“Wait, Allison Dr Dylan rushed to stop her.

He told Jade, “Jade, go ahead to the private room. I’ll be right there.”

“Dylan, come with me Jade insisted.

“Jade.” Dr. Dylan sternly patted Jade’s hand and said, “I promise, I’ll be there soon.”

Reluctantly, Jade let go, saying “Alright, just hurry.”

Allison didn’t wait around, she went straight into the elevator.

Dr. Dylan was a bit late. As the doors closed, he stepped into the next elevator, only to be stopped by a staff member who said, Sir, this is the service elevator. Please wait for the passenger elevator over there.”

The elevator was slow, stopping at every floor. Unable to wait, Dr. Dylan chased after her on the stairs. Panting, he watched Allison leave the Red Jack Club and called out. “Allison.”

She stopped, paused for a second, and then continued on her way.

“Allison Dr. Dylan caught up and grabbed her.

Not far away, a black Bentley pulled up slowly.

Inside, an attractive man massaged his temples. As his gaze shifted, he saw a man holding a woman’s hand at the entrance of the Red Jack Club. The man then embraced

the woman.

His eyes narrowed, clearly displeased

As the driver was about to pull away, the man quietly said, “Stop”

“Yes, Mr. Lindbergh Anything else?” the driver inquired

Lucian’s gaze fell on the embracing couple. After a moment, his eyes darkened Jason, sitting next to Lucian, also noticed the unusual scene: “Bro, wait here. I’ll go help Allison.”

“Allison pushed him away. “Dr. Dylan, let go!”

“I’m not letting go, Allison. I know once I do, you’ll leave.” Dr. Dylan held her tightly.

“If you keep this up, I’ll call security” Allison’s tone was icy.

Dr. Dylan let go, still fixating his gaze on her. His eyes showed a hint of hurt. “You used to never talk to me like this.” This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

“That was then Allison avoided his eyes and said, “If there’s nothing else, I’ll be leaving now. You should go to your girlfriend’s birthday party. I won’t bother you.”

The mention of Jade seemed to light up Dr. Dylan’s eyes. Was she jealous? “Allison, are you? Are you?”

Allison knew what he was getting at: “Dr. Dylan, you two are a perfect match. I wish you the best.”

“Allison.”

Allison turned around and said, “Dr Dylan, we’re over. There’s no need for us to keep in touch. I wish you two the best.”

“But Allison, we’re still friends, right?”

“Friends? The evening breeze ruffled her hair, strands dancing in front of her face. She brushed them aside, her smile faint but warm. “Dr. Dylan, I never thought you’d still want to be friends with someone like me”
