The Billionaire’s Maid Bride

Chapter 239

Chapter 239

“Penelope, this kid is your only shot at becoming Lucian’s wife.”

“Mom, I know.”

“Penelope, did anything special happen between you and Lucian while you were vacationing on Pearl Island?”

Penelope blushed, knowing exactly what Leah was getting at

She shook her head, “It’s all because of Allison. I had planned to have a nice week–long vacation. I was all set with all sorts of…”

Her face reddened again. She had prepared all sorts of sex toys, but it was all ruined by Allison. She didn’t even get a chance to be alone with Lucian!

“Alright, there will be plenty of opportunities in the future. You need to take care of yourself first,” Leah patted Penelope’s hand.

Penelope clenched her fingers, “Mom, I can’t have this baby. As soon as the baby is born and a DNA test is done, they will quickly find out that the baby is not from the Lindberg family”

“Don’t worry, we still have several months. We will plan this out carefully.”

Allison returned to the Flanagan family.

She had completely broken off with the Flanagans. She returned to her place and started packing her bags.

She and Grace had lived here for over ten years, the furniture and layout simple. There were only two bedrooms, a living room, and a small kitchen connected to the living room. She packed up Grace’s things as well, planning to move out as soon as she found a new place.

She took a shower; looking in the mirror, she realized the bruises on her face weren’t too bad. But Leah had hit her hard enough to cause her cheek to swell, she couldn’t work at the Red Jack Club for the next few days.

She called Sarah, “I’ve given you a week’s leave, you should rest well.”

The incident with Lucian and Allison in the forest had already spread throughout the Lindberg family.

At first, they tried to keep it a secret, but someone let the cat out of the bag. Once Carter found out, they couldn’t keep it under wraps any longer.

He first scolded Jason and Aidan, This is a big deal, and you two kept it from me! Do you think I don’t exist?”

Jason said, “We didn’t want to worry you.”

“You didn’t want to worry me?” Carter sighed, “How could I not be worried?”

Aidan said, “Grandpa, Lucian has recovered now. He’s fine, the snake venom has been cleared. The doctor said it was thanks to Ms. Zimmer.”

Carter was silent for a few seconds, “The girl Allison?”

She did have exceptional medical skills. She even saved his life once.

“Yeah, she sucked out the snake venom from Lucian and treated him urgently. It would have been very dangerous for him being stuck in the forest for that long.”

Jason glanced at Aidan, who still looked calm. Jason quickly said, “Yes, we should thank Allison. If it weren’t for her, the rescue might not have gone so smoothly.”

Carter nodded, “It seems that our family owes her twice.” All content © N/.ôvel/Dr/ama.Org.

They left the study.

Because of his leg trouble, Aidan walked behind. He stepped aside to let Jason pass, but Jason didn’t leave immediately, “Aidan, I should thank you this

time.”

Aidan raised an eyebrow, “What are you thanking me for?”

“For speaking up for Allison”

Aidan smiled. He was the same age as Lucian, four years older than Jason, “Jason, do you really like Allison?”

“Aidan, if I tell you, you might laugh at me.” Jason clenched his fist, “This is the first time I’ve had such different feelings for a girl…

Even though he knew about her past, knew about the shocking revelations she made during the truth or dare game that he had no idea about. I’ve been thinking a lot these past few days. Liking someone is as simple as that.”

Jason didn’t care.
