‘No mother could sit silently after knowing that her daughter could be in danger out there. On the top, the father of her daughter had prioritized other things first.’ Thinking about this, Calvin felt guilty for hurting her. He pulled out his phone and dialed his family member’s numbers one by one.
“Hello, Dad!!”
“Hello, Caro!!”
“Hello, Colton!!”
“Hello, Tee”
“Hello, Lee”
He didn’t involve Laira in the war because risking her pup for his pup would be stupid, but he asked her to return to his pack for medical help.

A moment before!!
Roselet was running as fast as she could toward the city. She knew that her Uncle Colton used this way to come into the pack. She ran away from her pack without any thought, but soon she realized that ‘where the hell will she go?’
Her grandparents had left the pack an hour to meet Uncle Colton first, and then they were planning to leave for Paris.
‘I should go near Grandpa and Grandma.’ She finalized, and she knew where she could find them. ‘In her Uncle Artemis’s hotel suite.’
Little did she know that she ended up choosing the wrong way instead of going anywhere near the city. She kept running deep down into the dark forest that was leading her toward the hunter’s area.
‘Why do I feel that I’m on the wrong path?’ She thought and looked around. She heard the sound of leaves, and immediately she quickly picked up a stick when she found one. She started taking further steps by putting sticks on the ground first.
And finally, she found the trap, which was covered with leaves. If her legs would have landed there, then she would have been hanging on the tree in the opposite direction.
‘Oh! No. I’m in hunter’s land.’ She thought when she realized when she had observed the same pattern of traps in almost all the trees. She had learned all this in her school.
This was a way to identify the land around them, and it was important for all the pups to know because their packs were just attacked the hunter’s land.
She had barely turned around to leave from there when a silver dagger was pointed toward her by a boy of her height.
“Who are you?” He asked angrily, pointing his dagger toward her neck and looking at her from top to bottom. “Definitely not a rouge because they don’t wear fancy and clean clothes. You’re from Blood Moon Pack, aren’t you, mutt?” he asked again.
Roselet hit his hand with the stick in her hand, making that dagger fall to the ground. She kicked his dagger with her feet away from there.
“Ouchh,” The boy cried.
“My Aunt Tee says it’s rude to check out any lady,” Roselet said and kept her stick on his neck. “I accidentally came here and was about to leave.” Saying this, she removed the stick from his neck and started leaving.
“This is it? You won’t hurt me by hitting me with the stick in your hand.” He asked. “I’m your enemy.”
“My daddy says that we should never attack pups, pregnant women, and old people, even if they’re our enemy,” Roselet replied.
“I didn’t know an animal could think so much.” He mocked.
“Daddy says animals are better than cruel humans. We don’t attack anyone unless they attack us first.” Roselet responded. “Why don’t you take an example of a dog, then?”
“Daddy! Daddy! Do you always do what your ‘DADDY’ says?” He mimicked, teasing her.
“No!!!” Roselet hissed in anger.
“Bet you do. Because you seem like you’re a daddy’s little princess.” he teased, on which Roselet fumed in anger.
“I’m not his princess. I’m just a mistake.” Roselet yelled and started running away from there. Immediately the boy stopped teasing her and watched her running in the wrong direction again.
“Hey!! That’s not the way to exit.” He shouted and ran behind her. Hearing him, Roselet stopped running and turned around, “Come on, I will show you the way out of our land.” He spoke before adding, “Our land is protected with witch spell too. If what you said is true, then your people can find you here because they won’t be able to smell you.” Saying this, he grabbed her wrist and started taking her out.
“Now, don’t come into my land, or next time I will kill you, pup or not.” He warned her after showing her the right path.
All of a sudden, they heard a growl and found a dirty and hideous wolf a little away from them. He was looking at them as if they were his food.
“Oh, No!” Roselet muttered in fear.
“Rogue!! Runnnnn!!!” The boy cried, and they both started running together to save their lives.
“Run toward the tree,” Roselet shouted and quickly climbed up, recalling her training from the school. The boy followed her in fear because a big bad wolf was behind his buttock, continuously growling and trying to attack with his paw and dirty nails. They sat on the top of the brach and sighed in relief when they watched that rouge looking at them with anger.
Roselet knew that a wolf couldn’t climb a tree, so she enjoyed her little success.
“I thought it was my last day.” The boy spoke, breathing heavily.
“Same here.” Roselet smiled, looking at him.Content is © by NôvelDrama.Org.
She showed her tongue to him to tease him, but her face color paled when the rogue started shifting into human form to climb the tree. The boy poked her shoulder and looked at the area where the trap was around the trees. They both nodded their head. All they had to do was take the rogue near those particular trees.
“Eat here!! She is a pup of Blood Moon Pack.” The boy said when rogue was almost close to them and jumped from the branch of the tree and started running away, leaving Roselet alone.
“Hey!!” Roselet cried in fear when she saw that rogue smirking at her, scaring the shit out of her. ‘But this is not the time to pee in your pant, Rose. Come on; you’re a fighter.’ She self-motivated herself and looked around. She started moving toward the edge of the branch slowly before that rogue would get a hand on her.
She looked at the branch of the other tree and started preparing herself to jump over there, and finally, she succeeded. She showed her tongue to that rogue again, teasing him, and found him glaring at her. But he didn’t follow her this time but targeted that boy who was looking for his silver dagger.
“Hey, watch out” She yelled, and this helped him to look toward the rogue, who had shifted already and was most probably ready to plan to eat him.
“Don’t worry about me. I can kill him with this.” The boy spoke confidently, showing his dagger. Roselet doubted that he was capable of doing something like that because he was so tiny to kill an adult werewolf, and that was when she observed him moving slowly near the trap.
The moment that rogue jumped on him in order to attack him, he moved aside, and that rogue got trapped in a net, and out of nowhere, a lot of arrows were shot in that direction, killing him then and there.
Roselet closed her eyes and ear even the boy looked away instead of watching his dead body.
After a while, “I can’t believe that you left me there to die.” Roselet complained after coming down from the tree.
“Well, I kind of figured out that you can handle yourself.” he spoke before adding, “You’re pretty brave.”
Roselet blushed at that compliment because, for the first time, some strange had praised her. “Thank you. You’re brave too.” She spoke.
