Chapter 1904 A Visit

Cindy stared at Yulia, and she tried her hardest not to laugh. “For argument’s sake, even if Ian breaks

up with me, do you think you can be his girlfriend? Don’t you know what everyone’s talking about?”

Yulia chuckled. “Humans are quick to forget.”

She was right, and that was especially true for the entertainment industry. Gossip was in a state of

constant update. Even if a celebrity had a dark past, that would eventually get forgotten. On top of that,

it was easy for someone to whitewash themselves and make a comeback, especially for a powerful

woman like Yulia.

Cindy nodded. “You’re confident. Then may the best woman win.”

Nobody said anything after that, but they both stayed in the room. It was as if they were having a war of

attrition in silence, and the first one to leave would lose. In the end, some other celebrity came in, since

they had to put on some makeup as well, and Yulia left, for she was in no position to stay for too long.

After Yulia was gone, Cindy went out of the room as well, but she saw Yulia the moment she came out.

She was on her way out, so Cindy watched her. Hm, she’s not looking for someone she knows. She’s Ccontent © exclusive by Nô/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.

probably leaving right away. Cindy wasn’t angry at all at that point, since she was used to Yulia’s

attitude. I should really make some time to go back to my place with Ian.

She waited until Ian was done with work. Since Yulia wasn’t around, Ian said nothing, and they left the

set. Ian had to meet up with the producers, so the driver took Cindy home before driving Ian to work.

Cindy knew Ian wouldn’t make it in time for dinner, so she made a simple ramen for herself, then she

went for a stroll. A while later, she felt like paying a visit to Aurora, so she went over without even

calling her.

She went straight to Aurora’s place and knocked on the door, as she had been to Aurora’s home

before. It took Aurora a while to come and get the door. She looked surprised to see Cindy, and then

she looked awkward.

Cindy realized that there must be a visitor in the house. She was a curious woman, but she had

manners and knew it was not the time to barge in. She stood outside and asked, “It’s not the right time,

isn’t it?”

Aurora looked behind her, then she shook her head. “It’s fine. Come in.”

Cindy went in after getting Aurora’s permission. When she came to the living room and saw someone

on the couch, she wasn’t surprised, though she didn’t say anything. The guest was a man, and he

seemed slightly older than Aurora was.

Aurora came to introduce the man to Cindy. He was Aurora’s ex-boyfriend, but he broke up with her

since he didn’t want Aurora to get into the entertainment industry again. I guess he’s here today to

convince Aurora to get back together with him.

I can’t do anything about someone else’s relationship, but him coming here at this time to make up with

her just reeks of conspiracy. Cindy had a feeling that the man had some schemes of his own. Now that

Aurora’s getting some success, he shows up out of nowhere. He must want something from her. She

couldn’t say that, of course, so she just nodded at the man and asked Aurora if she had dinner already.

Aurora pursed her lips. “No. Have you had dinner already? I was going to call you guys and see if we

could eat out.”

Aurora didn’t know Ian had to see the producers tonight, so Cindy said, “Ian won’t be having dinner at

home tonight, but I made dinner, and I was going to invite you over too.”
