Chapter 1926 Fan Gifts

It was the first time he received the gifts himself. He tore the envelopes open and read through the

letters seriously.

Cindy took out the other gifts and opened them up. Some were childish, while some were meticulously

made. However, each and every one of them represented the fan’s love for Ian. No matter what, it was

the fan’s wishes for Ian, and Ian and Cindy were thankful for that.

After Ian was done reading, he chuckled and handed the letter to Cindy without saying much. “These

kids are really innocent.”

Cindy skimmed through the letter. She didn’t know how old the fan was, but judging from the content, it

was obvious she was an innocent young lady. She said Ian motivated her and gave her hope. She

wanted to be a strong person like Ian. Someone who had never been through society would always

see things as they were. To her, Ian was a man of justice who would never be beaten by evil.

Cindy smiled. “This is great. Brings back memories when I see this. We used to be just like her.” But

society is complex. Everyone has to lose their innocence bit by bit after they join the club. That’s the

way to survive and adapt.

Ian put his hands behind his head and leaned against the sofa. “I never thought I could be a positive

inspiration for them. I just hope I won’t lead them astray.”

The entertainment industry wasn’t a good place, and it easily skewed the youth’s outlook. That was

what Ian felt guilty about. The more famous he was, the more people would look forward to building a

career in the entertainment industry.

You don’t have to aim to be a star, but I can’t say that. I’m in this industry myself. If I tell them that,

they’ll only think I’m lying. That was why Ian could do nothing but worry.

After looking through the gifts, Cindy went to take her makeup off and change.

When she came back out, Ian was smiling at his phone.

Cindy didn’t even need to guess what he was looking at. What else but the earlier incident? Some

outlet must have written all about it. When they came back just now, they passed by the entrance and

saw the crowd. They weren’t sure how old the fans were, but they were sure the reporters caught wind

of it and went to take a look. Cindy went over and leaned her head on Ian’s shoulder. “What are you

reading? Let me take a look.”

He turned his phone so the screen would face her. “See? They are praising you.”

Cindy chuckled and scrolled through the phone. It was none other than the news of her and Ian going

out on a dinner date.

Sometimes, Cindy thought the media’s sources were really fast. It hadn’t been long since they came

back from dinner, but the article was already out. It was about the dinner, of course. It wasn’t a big deal,

but the article emphasized the fact that Cindy appeared together with Ian.

When they went to the amusement park a while ago, they were in casual attire, and when everyone

saw her, they were jealous, and they said she was just a plain Jane. They wondered why Ian fell for RêAd lat𝙚St chapters at Novel(D)ra/ma.Org Only

her. This time, someone took a photo of her and Ian showing up at the restaurant. Cindy had dressed

up today, and it caused the netizens to break out into a discussion. This time, they kept praising her

looks, saying Ian had good taste in women.
